I already disagree with you on principle. Let it be known that I have an unrepentant aversion (to put it mildly) to the very thought that NaruSaku is a better match than NaruHina.

Ok, seriously, the above is not necessarily true to reality. This is what I experienced. It may not have been love but it was something, well, not completely parallel. It's easy for people, especially women, to put me on a pedestal. Then I disappoint. Good Lord, do they get mad! As forgiving as they seem to be and as easy as it may seem for them to excuse me, I promise you they don't collapse from disbelief and near-insanity when they see some flaw of mine.

I don't doubt that some women paint an impossible picture about a guy and then refuse to accept that it is wrong and become too weak to challenge failures in those men but I've never seen that in life as the rule. It is the exception. The scales do fall off and puppy love grows up. Much more often than not.

Now to NaruHina specifically. Hinata may seem timid and scared and all but she isn't. What she always was was shy. And it wasn't just for Naruto. Hinata was reluctant to accept challenges in everything because she always felt inferior to each one. Her interest in Naruto started from her admiration of his aggressive pursuit of challenges. That is what has steadily grown into love.

She does not idealize Naruto. She admires him. There is a difference and an important one at that. She made him her role model, sort of her mentor. You will see that each time she pushed herself beyond some self-imposed limit she took a cue from Naruto. That is not idealization, that is admiration and inspiration. What woman does not want a guy whom she can admire and who inspires her?

As for standing up to Naruto, think about it. Do you consider it a healthy relationship when you have to stand up to your man? Should you need to do that? Everybody has issues, no doubt, but do you deal with relationship problems by standing up to your man if you're a woman? Have women not ALWAYS stooped to conquer from the morning of the history of man till date? When has a woman won her man by standing up to him? If your man becomes tyrannical and oppressive has the answer not always been in leaving him to see what life is like without you? When a woman has gone toe to toe with a man has the relationship ever survived?

Hinata is the perfect girl for Naruto.

The new episode was Cool, Naruto is a really mature guy now, i see him becoming one the of calmest and sane and understanding Ninjas when he enters his mid 20s.

Sasuke revealed so many things but quite frankly i didn't really believe him, it sorta contradicted what we knew from the previous manga but then again, it shows to what lengths that someone can do the opposite of what he or she is feeling on the inside. Sasuke was talking about the strength to keep being positive in the midst of all the negativity, to thread the right path in the midst of so much loss. The strength that Naruto had.

That their losing their arms pain me sha, arrrgh, they are too young na.

I see naruto and Sasuke (Naruto with sasuke following) become Inter-vilage nin maintaining peace throughout the entire region while Kakashi becomes the 6th Hokage for Konoha

First, see the magnitude of destruction caused by both techniques; an unprecedented feat in the Naruto world.
Second, they both went back to basics such as shuriken throwing and taijutsu.
Third, Kishimoto is playing mind games with us. Of course, he wants us to believe some Madara and Hashirama element may be there like the clone ish everyone is shouting but knowing how unpredictable he and Naruto is, it's likely that Naruto may use his real body and then a clone will finish Sasuke off or he may sacrifice himself to finish Sasuke off without a clone.
My best part, the blows Sasuke received. . . That was epic to me. . .

Personally, I think he's giving Kishi too much credit. But if that's what he really intended all along, then he's fairly brilliantly handled it, along with other aspects of the series. In other areas he just sh.at all over his creation wantonly.

Just a share. Also, I don't actually disagree that much with Sasuke's motives/etc atm. His methods, perhaps. But he's now some sort of Lelouche, and like Lelouche, at times some hard choiced need be made.

Madara, almost the same. But his dream world wasn't 'humanity' or what humans are all about, it was something different.
