Oreoluwa

She was only seven
Starry eyes bright
Like tinted heaven

Four digits shoved
I remember,
Into that bitty mouth

She stared with wonder
Whilst I gently tugged
Her fingers out

All that energy
While greeting me
Almost knocked my frame over
Down to my knees

Her
Clasping hugging glomps
Her
Signature finger chomps
Her
Wild honey eyes
Her
Childish gummy smiles

Oremi,
Sleep well
My baby...

As your parents mourn
And spirit groans
We’ll all keep you
In our hearts
Even as you depart

May the Almighty
Strengthen us
To be Mighty
Our reunion will be glorious

devlishGINGER:
Let the waters sing a cup
And let the forests rise
So the priestess may call
In to beginning, our ties
The birth that never ended

A scroll flies!
The size of stadia
In its wake: Rubble!
Desolation lies!

A scroll flies!
Inked this way
For the errors
Inked that way
For the getaways

An accounting!
A leverage!
A decree!

The cup overflows
Even as the scroll flies

devlishGINGER:
The wind has come
And the wind has gone
Our father, we come from dust
And we shall return to same
God bless the fallen men

Either his path was evil
Either his path was good
The wind hath brought his flame here
And hath such took his flame away
Farther away from the land of return
God bless the fallen man

As we are born
Of water and flesh
Such shall a man die
Giving up its thirst
God bless the fallen man

You are free from the desires of flesh
You are free from the principality of this world
You are free from the wars of this world
You are free from the troubles of man
Mother earth, we are all yours for the taken
But do please, let our time be long for the saving
God bless the fallen man

An ode to one reborn.
No longer under decay
Neither under corruption
What’s now alive
Was a Phoenix’s destruction

✔️

I prefer Madara as a villain.
At least he entertained all of the Shinobi Force at once including Kage using cheat codes.

I can’t count how I detest this character.

Like Sea before Earth was birthed:

Formless.

Like landscape before Man explored:

Wildness.

Like sky before light shone:

Darkness.
.

. ...mined...
And see my limbs unaligned...
.
... tangible...
As a berg floats and melts...
.
.
....blind...
The Spirit is my guide...

I’ve only come this far
With crisscross stripes,
Raisin skin,
And Star crossed eyes...
With and without scars.

[] Rise

Reborn

After flames to dust
A violent Storm roars

A deluge of sulphur
A downpour

So fearless and boldly:

Let’s meet at Skyfall
Where the little horn drags the stars,
And tramples legions’ shrine...
Where filth is scoured
Where horrors thrust in limelight
Where beloved idols bow
Where the roots uproot
Where Script is spent

Just a little longer
A little longer

We rise
Reborn
We’re not beat

We will rise again.[/font]

Travel › Re: $120,000 To Leave Nigeria Or 450,000 Naira Salary? by firestar(f): 6:02pm On Jul 10, 2020

gimakon:
A quick question I want to ask and know hearts of peeps.

I have a badass programmer pal. Full stack engineer. Recently did a job for someone, and made some real good cash. Like up to $120,000. The money came from building software for 3 microfinance banks in the country.
He earns over 450,000 Naira as salary here in Nigeria as well. We got talking yesterday and he's telling me he cannot stay in Nigeria, that he's resigning immediately after lock down for airports are over.

His argument is 450,000 Nigerian Naira equals
1,162.97 United States Dollar, wheras in the US / Canada for instance, the salary is way higher.

Question is what do you think ?

Whatever might be said here-either for or against, it’s still his decision to make.
Just a word of advice, whatever your decision, always have backup plans and be steps ahead.

Cheers.
