Something to chew on for... forever? grin

2 theories shot and the best to come with is the apparent ease to explain the moon's nonexistence?

"me (as in the word me) yetti (like the yetti creature cheesy)"

Fulaman198: Thank you is 'Mi yetti'

S'il vous plait or please is 'useni'
Hm! Mi yetti! cheesy

Mi yetti. cool

I wish you can hear me say it!

Is it spoken exactly as it is written? (Sorry I'm asking all this, if you don't mind?)

Fulaman198: Yah maybe somewhere, it's hard to find traditional African movies these days from West Africa. I have seen a few from Senegal, Burkina Faso, Chad, and a few from Nigeria. The ones enacted in Nigeria don't seem to be that good though sad. I will look to see if there is some kind of movie enactment that includes the song.
Thank you....uh... ( how do you say that in Fula? embarassed)

Sil vous plait? (Je n'aime pas demander dans cette langue)
Culture › Re: Story Song Of Penda Yoro, Gimol Penda Yoro E Fulfulde by firestar(f): 7:00pm On Aug 17, 2014
Fulaman198: Sure, since the lyrics are too long (it's a long song)
The interpretation of this song is that the composer is giving praise/homage to Penda Yoro who lived long ago (late 1800s). She was a very educated woman, and extremely beautiful that almost every man wanted to follow her. I mean why not? She was more intelligent than they were and had a beauty that could give a young man a heart attack. She had teeth as white as fresh milk, and smelled extremely wonderfully. In the song, the author says that he goes from village to village (all these Villages are located in present day Fulani land in Mali (Maasina)). From village to village he follows her because he does not want to stray away from her, the author has a lot of admiration and admonishes Penda Yoro.
Throughout the song he is complementing her physical beauty and how he can not stay away from her for too long because she is so indirectly alluring. All men love her and wish to make her their own.
(Sighs)

These are the kind of songs to be sung at full moon.

I'm going to memorize it. grin

There ought to be some sort movie(?) adaptations to bring this to the lime-light.

(Hmm...)

crudedude: Its an anomaly to compare Ironman and Batman. Batman is human yes, but even guys with powers respect him. Ironman is just all metal suits and tie. Strip both characters of their fancy gadgets and see what happens.

My Kid brother just asked me for my opinion.
Oh hell no.

That, my friend is a cross-over.
Exists only in fanfiction. Unless you'd like to birth another genre of graphic badtednez, go for it.

There's one I read. It combines Batman, the Justice League, Teen Titans and Naruto.

crudedude: I still don't get this hidden identity point.

Anyways, Take your time and reread your post and tell me its not in favour of Bruce Wayne.
Batman is like Lagbaja.

He is someone you'd least expect to be Batman.

His ordinary playboy millionaire persona- what the world is made to believe-is his edge.

Everyone knows who Ironman is, and though its gains public trustworthiness, he is wide open. He is easy to read.
He counters this by relying on friends who shield his weak spots.
TV/Movies › Re: Top 10 Most Powerful Super Heroes. by firestar(f): 7:32am On Aug 10, 2014
igbsam: MAGNITO will take care of IRON MAN anyday anytime, but Bat Man ? Bat man would think of a virus that would neutralize magnito even before they meet. He is always one step ahead of His enemies. He always have his plans worked out. So you guys shouldn't even compare iron man to batman. Iron man relies on his suit, batman relies on his intellects. He calculates before making moves. BATMAN takes it over IRON MAN
Magneto and Ironman. That's an unfair match o. grin
As I mentioned earlier, if Bruce needs to defeat Ironman, all he'll need is a magnet. grin

And you come up with Magneto...?
Wicked, I tell ya, wickid. grin

If there should be a match for Bruce, a mere human-it should be a Telepath such as the likes of Xavier.

Now that's one match I'll definitely love to see. cheesy See who gives the other a migraine. grin

Shady98: i disagree..tony stark has a 'head-on' approach,he doesn't calculate like bruce,he's illogical nd emotional.. if not for jarvis nd his brain.he for don roast since..but compare the bat-boy!!..he's always calm..tell me one episode u saw Batman angry, even when they were whooping his a.ss
Liked. And more-so, Bruce prefers to walk alone.

A calculative person like him manipulates weakness.

Blackteeth: This reminds me of an argument I had with a certain Nairalander called Sagamite backed by his brother OAM4J. I tried to explain this to them but they thought I was just talking shiit.
There is nothing like UNIVERSAL intelligence. Although some people are intelligent in several areas but they still don't have UNIVERSAL INTELLIGENCE.
Universal Intelligence. Is that meant for mortals?
TV/Movies › Re: Top 10 Most Powerful Super Heroes. by firestar(f): 11:14pm On Aug 09, 2014
Jaymaestro: IM slays all of Bruce's . I only see Batman's psyche advantage against his foes like the crazy Joker .
Good.

That's what's called balance of power.

There's still one major weakness you and others haven't seen in Ironman.
A genius can can see that.
TV/Movies › Re: Top 10 Most Powerful Super Heroes. by firestar(f): 11:10pm On Aug 09, 2014

TV/Movies › Re: Top 10 Most Powerful Super Heroes. by firestar(f): 11:06pm On Aug 09, 2014
Zedric: actually, Tony has more than 1 suit and all of his suits have magnetic jamming devices. This means he can influence the effects of magnets on him
I'm aware of that.

Still, he's too soft for the likes of Joker, if you catch my drift.
TV/Movies › Re: Top 10 Most Powerful Super Heroes. by firestar(f): 11:03pm On Aug 09, 2014
Jaymaestro: Tony is better in science and technology than Bruce ' Bruce is better at planning devising ideas and detective skills .
Specialists.

Espionage. Military. Techno no how.... The works.

Bruce meets the challenge and outwits Tony still.

Tony rusts.
TV/Movies › Re: Top 10 Most Powerful Super Heroes. by firestar(f): 10:54pm On Aug 09, 2014
Jaymaestro: Actually You do know not all metals are magnetic ..moreover ' He could build any suit out of any plausible material . You won't expect him to be incapacitated while Batman wields magnets with his suit moving with Jet propulsion .
Smh.

I gave just one instance. Obviously.

It's not limited to that.

Compare Bruce's foes to that of Tony's and draw comparisons.

And tell me. You haven't seen my point yet.
TV/Movies › Re: Top 10 Most Powerful Super Heroes. by firestar(f): 10:47pm On Aug 09, 2014
Zedric: battyboy knows the weakness of JL members only and ironman isn't a member of JL
No, he isn't. What Bruce is, is cunning.
Tony is not.

Give me a valid point. Tony sucks in comparison, and is weak.
TV/Movies › Re: Top 10 Most Powerful Super Heroes. by firestar(f): 10:41pm On Aug 09, 2014
I repeat. Who is smarter? Bruce Wayne or Tony Sparks? This is no mere WWB match. Leave that for the Thing of Fantastic Four and the Hulk to battle out.

Both playboys are millionaires.
Filthily loaded.
And Teched.

But Bruce knows your weakness.

Jaymaestro: magnet - that's quite hilarious . Iron man's suit alone destroys Bruce .
Ironman suit is just that. Iron.
And like Agni kai, its a weakness.
TV/Movies › Re: Top 10 Most Powerful Super Heroes. by firestar(f): 10:34pm On Aug 09, 2014
Jaymaestro: Ironman will destroy him
Who is smarter?

All Bruce needs is a magnet. And what would his counterpart need hm?
