I don't know this laughing stock sha, because under Bartomeau, Barca became the richest club in world, the most valuable and generated the most revenue per annum for 3 years, Barca also won 13 trophies during his tenure as president, the only club president that Barca won more trophies under was Joseph Nunez who under his leadership the club won 20 trophies.
So how exactly did he turn Barca to a laughing stock or you want to type without making basic research?
Is Barca the first club to sign expensive players who didn't leave up to expectations?
Barca also signed Suarez and placed him on huge salary, Messi was also on huge salary, why aren't talking about those ones it's Greizman, Barca's second highest goal scorer last season that is stressing you. Madrid signed Kaka and Higuain and placed them on huge wages, they flopped or didn't meet expectations, did the clubs fold? Was anyone fired? Chelsea signed Torres for a then England record, was anybody killed? Or arrested? Man utd signed Sanchez, was anybody killed or arrested?

It would be nice if Barca fans tried to look at the bigger picture too, and stop this bizarre myopia that is ridiculous

The point is... He made unnecessary signings that weren't needed and the worse part is, they were big money moves that didn't help us.

Signing Griezman at the time we did was not needed at all. Yes, we needed a fix for dwindling Coutinho but how did he expect to play a left-footed player on the right when Messi was still very active? Let's not even talk about Malcolm and Andre Gomez among others.

Bartomeu's project in Barcelona was far away from a dependable sporting and business project. Maybe the latter was considered a bit since he sold us as big spenders with promotional content and all, but I don't think he considered the prospects of the club, alongside Abidal. Forget the success we accrued, the ONLY reason behind that success was MESSI, which is why he had to invest HEAVILY to ensure that he continued but foolish as he was, he didn't realize that the GOAT isn't immortal.


Bartomeu dealt with us grossly and I'm pretty sure we wouldn't have noticed this if the covid waves hadn't happened.

I don't think Dembele will leave. He knows better than to leave to where he'll have to play catch up compared to where he's the center of a massive project.
