Comot Fati from this statement. If there's any of our forward that can rival Ferran for space exploration, then Fati is a worthy competitor. Fati will even drop deep and progress with the ball, and make forward dribbles if he has to.

Another person was Jugtla, only that lack of first team experience isn't making us notice him better but the few times he was featured, almost everyone saw how beautifully he goes into space and with exquisite body movements.

Depay's problem is not knowing when to stay onside.

De Jong; is relegated to finding the closest player, which is usually the RW or another midfielder because Ferran extends to the edge of the pitch. Two games ago when Memphis was on the pitch and the left side, notice how brilliant Jong was.

Gavi's role is unknown right now except for leading press which our forwards (Ferran especially) should be doing.

Our RW are typically occupied by Adama and Dembele. Ferran plays more on the LW or CF. He will have to compete with Ansu on that LW and he easily comes second best. He shoots wildly when presented with a delightful chance. Ansu will bury 80% of the chances Ferran Torres has squandered. This is the reason he has lots of haters here.

Whereas, in the CF position, he is better than Auba in link up play but Auba has the more natural instinct of a poacher which is more needed in that position, which is why Auba has excelled despite not being the best technical player on the pitch.

So right now, Ferran Torres has to prove himself all over again to deserve any berth on the starting lineup provided our young prince continues to gain consistency away from treatment table.

Yes, I think Ferran has got more work to do, and it had to begin with sitting on the bench or coming as a substitute. He needs to understand that there are more than enough people ready to displace him if he doesn't sit up amd improve in training himself to be icy-cold in front of goal. If he does that, then he stands a chance to compete across the three positions in front.

Personally, I've fallen out of love for Aubamayeng. I don't fancy only-goal poachers and Auba has given me too much reason to write critic posts against Xavi's tactics in recent times than normal.

Please stop this. At this point, I don't think there's any youngster in the world that should be in the same sentence as Mbappe, not even Haaland. And until Ansu completely proves that potential we all know he possesses, it's safe to conclude that he's still potential generational talent that MAY or MAY NOT achieve full prowess as Mbappe or more.

Physicality is the only thing Gavi has above Riqui. The latter has a better vision to become an advanced midfielder except for pressing play, but sadly Barcelona system doesn't accommodate that.

Nonetheless, I think with Jong playing as a holding midfielder in the next game, Xavi might just have to trust Riqui to be the midfielder to break the opposition press and make progressive passes.

But if I should be truthful, I think Riqui needs to bulk up. I mean, he's just too lean to match the physicality of the modern game.

Yeah, I hope he gets the game time. You'd see his movements with progressive passes and even though he gives it up to the opposition, it's easy to see that he dares to try.

Concerning your first question, some of us here still think Riqui should be getting game time ahead of Gavi, at least.

Puig will have to play the next game against Celta. We only have 4 fit midfielders and Busquets is suspended. So he has to play alongside FdJ and Gavi.

Don't be surprised if you see Eric as a midfielder and either Pique or Lengelet back to the starting line up.
