I don't believe this
Weight and size are two different things. I'm surprised Adama weighs up to 72kg. He's not the type of winger to bully defenders but is quick to fall like a pack of cards with the slightest body-check.

Mehn! Pedri is so advanced, he’d walk straight into the team. Nico comes second, then Gavi, as for Puig nothing concern me and that one again. grin
Honestly, I'd buy the idea to see Puig go on loan right now. His growth has been stunted so badly and would need regular playing time to see him back.

Actually lenglet was good in the final stages making blocks, we just missed Araujo, After gavi's red card im okay with the draw though we are 6th now, We suppose use the anger of missing this 3 pnts flog nonsense out of rayo after the super cup
Final stages. How about before then? Anyway, let me better not talk about him today. I'd so want to see more of Luuk as a 9. Memphis doesn't give me that killer vibe at all. Interestingly, LDJ is improving with the ball at his feet as opposed before. I hope Deepay doesn't stunt his development.

That boy needs to calm down also...
Exactly. He needs to learn that calmness.. I still don't know who'd struggle for a starting shirt between he and Nico when Pedri returns, but I'll like to see them regulated well enough.

You sure MATS isn't back like this? Nice save to claw one point
Draw does no good but we could have easily lost this,
He did well today until Lengebutt came on. That was when Pique and Alves got more to do and exposed the defense to be run into.

2 pts dropped against this pesky Granada side.

We cannot manage games even with a man down.
Granada is in fine form. I mean, good form... They've managed 4 wins and 2 draws in their last 6 games.

My blame today would be on Xavi today. There was every tendency that Gavi would potentially cause another foul against the pacy Granada players since he moved to recover with pressing and slides. Also, I thought we'd have Luuk till at least 75mins. It's evident Memphis isn't a proper 9 but a winger.

I thought Xavi would have substituted him before that second yellow.

Luuk DeJong is showing what we should expect from a proper 9; keeping opposition defenders engaged, showing flashes of shots and all that.

I'm hearing for 18 months.

Villa pays 65% of his salary. With an optional €35-45mn to buy.
I'm reading that he even waved the 35% of his pay from Barca

Jugtlar looks like that kind of striker that'd be so comfortable scoring goals if he has the right tutor. Hoping for the best for the young lad.

Laporte is better than both of them

Laporte can be classified as a world-class player but the same can’t be said of the other 2, Barca has fought to sign Laporte about 5 seasons ago but it didn’t work out
Laporte is indeed better but I am not sure of the possibility of getting him. More so, I'd prefer that we push for another lefty solid non-Spanish defender than Laporte. That way, we can be sure to have enough foreigners on the team. Make Xavi chill with Spanish players for now abeg.

The Puig I watched on Saturday is still the same I saw today. He should be cashed on please and let's free up space.

Nico too should go, he is not a first-team quality
Nawa for some of us here o. So now now now, we ton begin to castigate Nico as a player who's not a first-team quality? And you even said Puig is not good enough from Saturday. But you forget that he easily would have been the man of the match if not for Stegen's save. Not disputing that he was slightly poor yesterday (had to rewatch this morning) but e reach to wait small abeg!

In quest for a left-footed CB after we do away with Umtiti and Lengelet, who do y'all think would be a better choice between, De Lgt, Laporte, or Pau Torres?

If Puig doesn't make it with Xavi as Manager, his future is away from the club.
It's has never been about the Manager, it has been about the Player.
Managers play a pivotal role. His time with Koeman is good enough to kill his spirit but thankfully, Xavi is giving him a chance for redemption. I await to see what's in front.

I didn't get to watch the match today but I learned he played slightly off what was expected

If we sign Morata, top 4 is guaranteed with at least a trophy.

Morata is a pressing machine who can give you 20+G/A per season.

He's 6ft3 and can help us beat the press with long balls. He'll miss sitters but I'm excited for his signing.

We are back!!! grin grin grin

There was a piont towards the end of the match that he lost the ball twice in quick succession, when we needed to keep the ball more. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, that he hasn't been playing much nor even played a full 90 minutes. He was obviously tired and exhausted.

However, his performance yesterday was still not enough to keep out the likes of Pedri and Gavi once they're back. He's beginning to learn though. Keeping it simple.
I agree. But I still maintain he was the best player on the pitch yesterday. I actually saw a different Puig yesterday. He's beginning to see that some spaces are traps. His pressing level is outta this world but he has a small physique to actually cause problem. But you see long balls and picking players with runs, Puig has gotta be the best youngster after Gavi that can do that.
