Jugtla off ball movement is one of an elite striker and boy is not afraid to shoot. The first two shots disoriented Leopetuigi and he had to ask for a close down which saw our midfielders drifting in. Problem here now be say, Abde is still in that stage where he cannot understand when dribble to create adequate space to shoot or pass. This is one feature you'll always praise Ansu for having.

Well, I wasn't one of those that gave in to that. As much as I'd be happier if you guys had lost, the gameplay today was just too boring. All Chelsea players couldn't connect within a slight margin and it might have been a different kettle of fish if Wolves' first goal had stood.

Taking a nose-dive to yesterday's match, I could see that Gavi was deployed to play the CAM and Nico, box-to-box, during the latter part of the match.


Got me thinking, what if actually play DeJong as a holding Midfielder at some point and bench Busquets? This way, we'd have a midfield of Jong, Nico, Pedri or Puig. The only reason I think Jong is not been trusted to play DM is cos of his inability to withstand pressure, from bigger teams but maybe we can work on that since he's done it before in Ajax and would most likely do it again, if given the chance.

Also, with the emergence of Abde, I kinda feel that Fati would have a lesser burden. On that wing alone, we've got Abde, Memphis, and even Coutinho. The last two are not it, especially Phillipe but anyhow, we better save Fati until he understands how not to get injured frequently.

Coaches like Valverde and Koeman took us so much back tactically. Reason it is going to take us time to get back.

If there's one thing I am liking about this team, everyone can dare forward to score. Xavi changes tactics more than once on the pitch especially when we are losing the ball in our half. It'll be challenging to get back on top form especially with a goalkeeper like Stegen but with time, we'll play well again.
