Raphinha was no where near being phenomenal yesterday. Apart from that tap in goal, he was bang average. It was an eyesore watching him play that yesterday. He needs to improve, else he won't be getting any game time.

His dribbling might not have been perfect but he didn't attempt too many but rather focused on 1-2 plays with Pedri and Kounde mostly. In fact, he created chances amd even scored a little margin offside goal before the tap in.

This is the problem. We do not want people who are not adept at central defending as a first choice. We dont want converted defenders.
We want people who are first and foremost, a central defender, good at defending. Not passing. Not scoring. Just good at defending.
We never had these set of players before. Just from one joker to another makeshift to another disaster.
