Hi guys, I just want your honest advice as I am new here

My boyfriend recently broke up with me, I really love him (deeply) and he claimed he loved me too. we dated before 4years ago and we got back together in June 2015. Things has been going well between us, he introduced me to all his family and extended and marriage plans were on the way.He promised me marriage ( Don't get me wrong he did not propose) but we talk marriage everyday, future plans, we have planned the wedding and even started looking at venue. We were already planning on getting our first house together, deposit etc.. and things are all in place.
unfortunately he caught me checking his phone (He has been flirting with other girls) and I set him up, even though he played right into my hands he found out that set him up and he got really annoyed and told his family about it and said he needs time to think about the relationship because I invaded his privacy and set him up and for that reason he is not safe with me.

few days later he came back saying he owe me an apology that when we got back together last year it was not genuine, he was bored, he was pressured to get married and he saw that I was available at the time based on my predicament (I came out of an hurtful marriage) so he felt like he should just be with me since we have dated before.

I felt really hurt and used, even though it was my fault for checking his phone I begged him to take me back but he refused, I have been struggling to deal with the pain as I do not want to lose him.
I have been cursing him everyday ( as long as he lives unless he comes back to beg me, he will never experience true love from a woman every again) because he failed in his words and I felt like he used me for those reasons he gave.

please am I right in cursing him or should I just leave him and let him be, I really love him and I am hurting, because he failed to address the fact that he was flirting and his family are so biased as well

074, 101, 105, 098. Imagine! When I heard the last score, I couldn't help but ask if it's the guy's seat number or JAMB scores. And these are peeps who want to study further in our tertiary institutions. Like serzly?? I mean scores which you cannot even use in securing admission into secondary schools.


Just yesterday on this platform, one was sharing the testimony of how God 'miraculously' help him get a 307. You need to see what this guy wrote not forgetting the fact that English Language is his 'best subject'. Dude murdered English.


The most disappointing thing is that these 'kids' can sing every Lil Kesh song by heart. Lyrics of this nature are like memory verse to them. Book? Mba!


Which way naija? Some are claiming their scores are error by JAMB. You'll hear stuffs like, "JAMB gave me 098, I know I deserve more than that. Whatever happened to those who scored 250 and above. Is it not the same JAMB computer that mark theirs? Maybe, just maybe WAEC/NECO officials help JAMB in marking sha (just saying).


We need change. No, we need transformation. No, no, no, we need re-orientation in this country. We need to enlighten the upcoming generation on the need to direct their energy on things that matters before anything else. Let the first things come first.


The society and indeed, our families also have a huge role to play in this regard. Parents must begin to live up to expectations and stop playing the ostrich in child-parentage knowing too well that our children, and indeed, our youths are the future of tomorrow.


This jet age, youth (negative) exuberance is at it peak, no thanks to technology. If we continue with the way things are with our youths then, I'll get no choice than to keep SMH-ing like have been doing since yesterday (neck don dey pain me self)

Generally i dnt blame most of the students who failed jamb...jamb is one external exam you really need God just like when you are writing your final courses, after your overnight jacking you still need fasting and prayers

University A has space for 50 law students, 300 people apply for admission and out of the 300, 120 get >= the cut off mark. If the system gives admission automatically, it means the first 50 get the space or you over populate the class.

Pick your poison.

ofcourse not everybody will hit the cutoff mark, those that couldn't meet up will apply for supplementary

The way the lecturer handles the course and the way he makes it become a reality to us...he knows how to make you see the reality of strength of materials...as the name implies, it's the ability of a material to withstand drought or load against deformability...note, the definition is not limited to what i stated above, that's just my own understanding....and also, you hear of cantilevers, they use them in constructing bridges...if you pass ontop of bridges you'd see some space between the walls, now this is done to avoid the bridge from cracking in due course...the course is sweet mehhn , if ain't studying engineering you dey miss something o...

Writing jamb and post ume are all part of d screening exercise. Am sure those without issue won't complain. Scraping jamb and allowing individuals apply to institutions ll thus promote corruption and malpractices.
We all see d malpractice involved even after making d said pume cut-off mark just to get ur course of choice is still a who know man affair. To some extent jamb exam helps to reduce d pressure on d institution.
My advise is who ever is preparing for exams should sit up and serious with preparations and d outcome ll definitely b positive.
Most of us hv siblings preparing for jamb but if we r sincere we can say dat only few truly devout their time for study. Hence, making it difficult to pass d exams.
Those that can afford schooling abroad should do so. I

well said sister...but let's look @it this way, maybe you didn't read the other of my post earlier...let's say FG now only recomends that candidates shud go pick admission forms in their prefered institution, write their exams, if you hit the department cutoff, instata the system will indicate that you 've been offered provisional admission for that session, there and then they'd print your admission slip for you...now tell me sis, how would fraud and bribery come in here??....i'm sure this strategy is perfect....FG are aware of this but conciously ignored it because of what they achieve from jamb yearly...

1) Getting the cutoff mark does not guarantee you will be admitted.
2) Even if the test is done in the open, the highest bidders would have seen the questions and answers long before the date of admission.
3) You say jamb is all about the money, do you think the universities are any different?

then they should make it an instanta admission...so far you 've gotten the cutoff mark, the system will automatically signy that you 've been given a provisional admission...my friend, just think of this strategy and give me feedback??

Honestly, dis is the solution to institutional bribery and appreciation of merit. Let all school boards sit, decide on cut-off for each department and report to jamb and jamb'll do the rest. Others who do not meet these cut-off marks can then be given allotted to universities based on their scores and/or choices to go sit for a department-based university-conducted merit entrance exam that would give them the opportunity to still gain admission to their favourite courses if they pass #shikena

You are right bro.. Without JAMB, admission will be on the basis of highest bidder.. Hwoever, the system will be so manipulated that only those who have connections will be admitted while people who know nobody have little chances of being admitted, or perhaps, have no chance at all


It will also be a sort of avenue for extortion because many applicants will be advised to enrol for their exams.. In fact, the post UME of many institutions will be raised to N10, 000

so, is it not happening now?,,,my take is, they should make the cutoff mark for every department you are applying for a public notice, so that if you hit the department cutoff, there and then they admit you, give you a paper and stamp on it that you 've gained admission...tosyn, just imagine this thing wey i talk now, where the wayo wan from come now, with this, it will be strictly on merit....the same thing applicable when you are applying for supplementary...remember that you are writing with the school customized system, so immediately you hit the department cutoff, automatically the system will signify you 've gotten admission...i wish jamb officials will see this...

i dnt believe so, let it be an open test in the school...the required score for the department you are applying for should be pasted there so everybody will see it should incase your cutoff mark was upto the score and they deny you admission, you can take it up from there...my brother, this strategy will work very well and FG knows it, they are only ignoring it cosof what they achieve from jamb....some few years ago they almost adopted this method, i dnt knw what happened....
