Has anyone here tried to apply for emergency request in Lagos recently?
I just did and it is saying I cannot request at this time.
Just need to know if this is peculiar to me.

Please is anyone having issues submitting DS-160? It keeps timing out at submission.

You don’t need to go with your friend’s statement and I would advise that you avoid mentioning that your friend bought your ticket because it may suggest to the VO that you do not have enough funds to support yourself during your visit.

I have also printed my account statement. Urgent suggestions needed.

The policy has just changed. Each person is now only allowed 1 reschedule after the initial selection. To get the chance for closer dates, you can pay another visa fee.

Same here as well. Abuja embassy. I don’t know why the reschedule tab isn’t available. I’ve only rescheduled once and it has always been there until about 3 days ago. Maybe no one knows why

Are there any chances of getting a 2023 date for visitor's visa?

I was also this confused at first too but I later figured it out. You need to click new appointment and follow the same process you followed to pay visa fee, it should be prefilled since you already entered all the information before, so just continue clicking next. You will get to the calendar after the payment receipt page.

It’s been over 48hrs since I paid and I am yet to get any mail for interview date.

The process has changed. They’ll send an email with a link for you to follow to get to the calendar. I got that email around 24-48 hours after I got this page

Thank you. I am yet to submit the DS-160. I hope it won’t affect getting the chances of getting the email.

I just paid application fee to apply for us visa for my parent but instead of seeing a date calendar after the receipt had been confirmed, I saw this.

Has the process changed? Or did I make an error in the process?

Just wondering why they ask for the passport photograph if they won’t use it.
I remember some people were turned back to retake their pictures on the interview day.

About the daily limit, please what's the total number, I was told that am approaching my maximum limit the last time I checked.

From my personal experience, I got 4 slots daily to check for date. Although there were days that after the first check, it would start notifying me that I’m approaching the maximum limit.

I am a fresher here and I really need insight on how to navigate. My reason for joining is cos I need help with my F1 Visa Interview Date Scheduling. I cannot seem to find any date available at this time.

All the dates which seem available are giving me "No appointments are available for 01/04/2024" feedbacks.

Please anyone with insight into what I can do should pls help as I am hoping to get a date for this month either normally or by using the expedited date option.

Hi,
Searching for date can be frustrating and from my experience. There’s no trick to it other than patience.
I’d advise you join group chats and pick an odd hour to check.
What I use to do was to keep record of everytime a date is released and make sure that i’m alert at those times in subsequent days hoping that the person updating will have a standard routine. Then one day I got lucky.
Also never let your daily login slot run out. Always save 1 for contingencies.
You’ll get lucky soon.
If you are yet to use your emergency request, you can also do that once it’s 2weeks to resumption. I say 2 weeks because I see a lot of 1 month refusal.

VO: Have you ever travelled before?
I: Yes, I have been to Canada a couple of times and I take yearly vacation with my mum.

I: My mum is a single parent and her business has been in the family for over 40yrs. It was passed down to her by her mum

Then hands me white paper, saying my visa was approved.
