I feel like, we still owe West Ham like 10 stacks for Declan Rice. Dude was composure exemplified and the mentality was always of a winner. He was the Captain without the handband. I have seen players over the years but this guy has the blood of the invincibles running in him. Defence wins the League is topic for another day but right now, the party continues.
💯

Rice was the reason Xhaka and Partey weren't really missed.. Everyone shone beside him...he is an Engine, he deserves a Salary increase. Had he gone injured in those crucial games..e forget otilo niyen...100% a captain material

Big congratulations to Unai Emery and Aston Villa. This win has given 6th placed Bournemouth the UCL ticket. Imagine never qualifying for European football for your entire 100+ years history and when you eventually did, it's the freaking champions league! Shey iraola will not go and lobby for his job back at Bournemouth like this? He worked hard for this? He brought them this far, he should be the one to take them to Europe.
Feeling so for him, the Bornemouth I saw yesterday are so capable doing things, I fear manager switch may disrupt the flow. Infact they need a new stadium 🏟️... that Vitality be like Highbury

If you feel the coach shouldn't be put on the spot and has a comfortable job, you're part of the problem.
Only if the previous Managers had this kind of funds and materials to compete with.

I predict one or two of the major trophies would eventually land here, but then it would only paper the cracks.

If arteta leaves, arsenal will be back to default. I mean pre 2019.
To be very honest, this guy made you guys very relevant again.
Like Arterta has reached legendary status for him to deserve a guaranteed job. Ofcourse he has tried and deserves his flowers, but then, he hasn't reached it.

I'm not calling for his sack, but he should be under pressure.

In a season where almost all rivals are so weak, it is expected he capilizes on those trophies.

FYI

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Mikel Arteta has failed to win 23 out of 26 possible titles:

2019/20 season (1/3):
❌ Premier League
🏆 FA Cup
❌ Europa League

2020/21 season (1/5):
🏆 Community Shield
❌ Premier League
❌ FA Cup
❌ Carabao Cup
❌ Europa League

2021/22 season (0/3):
❌ Premier League
❌ FA Cup
❌ Carabao Cup

2022/23 season (0/4):
❌ Premier League
❌ FA Cup
❌ Carabao Cup
❌ Europa League

2023/24 season (1/5):
🏆 Community Shield
❌ Premier League
❌ FA Cup
❌ Carabao Cup
❌ Champions League

2024/25 season (0/4):
❌ Premier League
❌ FA Cup
❌ Carabao Cup
❌ Champions League

2025/26 season (0/2 so far):
❌ Carabao Cup
❌ FA Cup

The above isn't a job assurance results.

Na me talk am. Quote me and tell me what's special about this Forrest team you just watched.

If not that our players refuse to take our chances, what is special about them?

The players you claim he rested ; didn't they play almost the full second half? Did they score eventually?

It seems the fear of arsenal not winning the league has made some of u guys to always react negatively to any of the coach's actions and inactions. If he decide to use full squad for some matches Una go complain why he no rest players; when he decides to rotate the squad to carry everyone along Una go still complain as if the players he starting are not professionals who have been starting for us and giving results in the past.
Baba there's something special in Forest on their home ground, I've seen many teams struggle there, even the commentator mentioned Arsenal has been struggling there for the past few years.
City struggled for the 3 points thanks to late Cherki's beauty, Liverpool dropped 5 points from possible 6 last season they won
You see those giants at the back Murillo and Milenkovic are demons defensively on that ground
Selz was arguably the best keeper last year, Elliot Anderson and MGW are no babies in midfield
Odoi and Jesus are always a constant threat....A team even trying to survive relegation...it was never going to be an easy 3 points and I'm never blaming Arteta cos all his best legs played but Forest was just too difficult to break down.

If you like buy Vitinha and Rodri, this Amorim and his midfield 2 will suffer for 1000years. Play 4-3-3 that's tailor made for the team he has refused. No problem
You 💯 right.. this 343 would only get Amorim sacked before December.... Playing your most productive attacker Amad at RWB is a big No, see how the right side was struggling to bring the ball forward....
All that is needed is a Central Midfield general who would pair Bruno and Ugarte...then play Cunha, Zirkzee and Mbuemo/ Amad as front 3...

Zirkzee would drop deep and allow Cunha and Mbuemo/ Amad/ Bruno into goal scoring position. Even Hojlund may improve in this setting.

PoliticsDid The National Assembly Hold Buhari And Nigeria Back? by Fkhalifa(op): 7:49am On Jul 19, 2025
I have always had this thought but would like to read the views of well meaning Nigerians.

Here are the three anti‑corruption bills President Buhari’s administration sent to the National Assembly during his first tenure (2015–2019) that were not passed in that period:

1. Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Bill, 2016

Buhari’s government forwarded this bill at the beginning of 2016 to repeal and re‑enact the Money Laundering (Prohibition) Act 2011. It aimed to broaden the scope of money‑laundering offences and strengthen protections for whistle‑blowers and reporting institutions. However, disagreement among the Attorney‑General’s office, EFCC, and Ministry of Justice led it to be withdrawn by the executive before it could pass .

2. Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Bill, 2016

Also submitted early 2016, this bill was meant to facilitate international cooperation in criminal investigations and asset repatriation, especially relating to corruption. Unlike the money‑laundering bill, it was eventually passed by the National Assembly, but it underwent long delays before becoming law .

3. Special Criminal Court Bill (Special Court for corruption, narcotics & kidnapping), 2016

In February 2016, Buhari forwarded this Executive Bill to establish a dedicated court to expedite trials involving corruption, terrorism, and kidnapping. But the National Assembly made amendments and delayed it, and it never passed within the first term .

Reminiscing about the laws, I felt it could have placed Nigeria better if Enacted and effectively executed, Maybe it was one of the reasons Baba was so lackadaisical and gave up about Nigeria, Only if it were to be on a Military Regime?

What's your view?

A reminder that Luis Enrique was jobless when Arsenal fans said there's no coach available when you sack Mikel Arteta.

He was appointed in July 2023. and never spent like Mikel Arteta. He lost a better player in Mbappe to Real Madrid to retrograde his team.

He has quickly revived his team to beat Arsenal in the tie to eliminate Mikel Arteta's 5 years team.

Enrique so far has achieved:

𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 season:

🏆 Ligue 1
🏆 Super Cup
🏆 French Cup
⛔ Champions League Semi-Final

𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 season:

🏆 Ligue 1
🏆 Super Cup
⏳ French Cup Final
⏳ Champions League Final

When you say, they said don't say.

I say make I drop the above here ni o

As for Arterta, his die hard fans argued here last year that he is untouchable, we said put him under pressure, don't get him too comfy ..but his fans and management are saying/doing otherwise....

Xavi, ETH were shown the exit door even after winning trophies..Ancelloti's time is almost up due to this season's performance..

You think Chelsea, Utd and others won't try to upgrade and may even win bigger trophies before Arsenal.

Covid FA Cup is not enough. After all he benefited what Wenger and Emery didn't ,(Transfer Support).
