Arteta and the coaching staff are aware and are still forcing him to play 90 minutes of football, which he is struggling to see out. Over the last 5 games, how many times have we watched Saka just drop to the ground or unable to finish 90 because his body could no longer go? There is no reason Saka should be playing the amount of consecutive games he has played this season, [/b]especially when you consider he did the same thing last season to save Arteta from getting sacked.[b]

This is the same thing the coaching staff did with Partey when he had the 1st hamstring injury, the only difference is that Saka is younger while Partey is experienced and can stick to his guns. Remember Arteta forced Partey back, he ended up aggravating the original hamstring injury and was out for longer. Arteta did the same thing immediately after Partey returned from AFCON. Man played the previous day, got on the plane immediately after Ghana were eliminated and was listed as a starter the following day..Well, we have not seen him since then...I mean, come on!

The truth of the matter is that Arsenal came this far due to the fact that they weren't in Europe, and went out early in cup competitions. The team lack top quality players that can go shoulder to shoulder with the big boys. Fine, they had flashes, but their inconsistencies especially against the small teams killed them. And if quality players aren't bought at the end of the season, Arsenal might fail to make top 6 next season. I said it, Arsenal's squad is too thin to compete for top 4.

But he has knocked out big boys and clubs.

For me, Emery is that type that loves his own kind of players and structure. I personally do not fancy celebrity players or team who are either too big to follow instructions, only interested in doing one thing for personal glory (dribbling, scoring and assisting).

I've always maintained Auba is a box striker, just surround him with creative players and he will score tons of goals albeit he will miss lots too. He doesn't hustle around or involve in team play that much just as he is atm with Barca.

At Arsenal he had little to no standard creative players around him... and with the english style of play, if you don't add ruggedness to your game, you'll so be finished, Fabreggas attested he suffered this at Chelsea in his latter days.
