Evathyst: I've been reading this story for more close to a week, and I must say it's a wonderful piece. If only our Nollywood script writers can be half as good as this. Perhaps, we would have been churning out good movies and the the usual 'Police & Thief' or 'King & Queen' which has dominated our screens.
As wonderful as the story seem, permit me to point out a few observations;
1- In terms of grammar, I'll say the writer still has a lot to improve on. For example he kept using the word 'Most' before a superlative form of adjective. e.g Most happiest, most loveliest. This shouldn't be.
Also, simple grammatical blunders like; 'Did not spoke' kept recurring. OP, please take note.
2- Whilst the story was originally meant to revolve around sex, violence and betrayal. The writer has done very little to strike a balance among the 3. On certain episodes, it's only sex. On the other, it's betrayal alone.
3- Although the writer has a unique style, but his use of imaginary soliloquy needs improvement.
4- The writer sometimes doesn't introduce characters properly before throwing them into his updates. This will make the story center on Darous alone, thereby robbing him of the ingredients necessary to spice the story.
5- The writer's manner of introducing surprises seems very predictable. For example, whenever he's doing or saying something secretive, you just know there will be someone behind listening.
These are a few of the observations I have noticed so far. Like a fine wine, I'm sure the OP will get better with time. Lest I forget, a very big congrats on the award for the month of June. Many better things to follow. not taking anything away from your write up, but i think his (what he calls blunders) are what makes the story more natural. It makes it more enticing. And I can't help but marvel at how he uses those grammatical error to spice up the story. My opinion though. 2 Likes |

TheBlessedMAN: Hmmm, Ladies and Gentle Gents, its with utmost sense of 'am too happy' that I write this Testimonial and Thankful Text (T.T.T) to you guys.
Just so you know, this moment is presently competing for the top post as one of the most 'I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS' moments of my life.
The reason for my happiness is not totally about the winning - since every name worth nominating definitely worths winning this humble award - its rather a result of the fact that I never envisage myself in this situation. Not before, not now and not ever.
I have been trying to figure out the reason why I won, but all I was able to conclude on is that, I know my ogas on this section let me win this award, because trying to trace the reason why I won back to my level of brilliancy will be the most futile thing ever done by man, especially when putting my level of education wey no pass Waec level into consideration.
Am grateful to you boss(es).
Abeg, make I no forget to thank the sponsors lurking behind this award. Thank you for the gift. Its importance surely superceed the gift itself.
May God continue to replenish your bank accounts.
Just incase you need thunder to fire someone, don't hesitate to contact me.
Thanks and God bless everyone that voted for me. I appreciate you guys for your efforts.
its a well deserved victory. Nothing less |

TheBlessedMAN: Happy birthday to you boss.
I woke up in this temperature-lowic morning wondering why the birds were so party-ly dressed and why the goats were bleating excitedly.
The flowers were also blossoming like never before. The dogs were barking out their lungs excitedly. The chickens also couldn't hide their excitements as they were crowing loudly everywhere. Even the snakes weren't left out, their hissing sounds could be heard from sambisa away. I thought have heard it all until I heard the roaring sound of a Lion from forests away. I then began to question myself, wondering with my humanic brain, in a desperate attempt to figure out what could have provoked the unusual excitements of this non- homosapiens. But I later found out that they were just celebrating the birthday of a rare gem in the name of Larrysun.
I then said to myself, if animals could feel and celebrate the birth of my boss-man like this, then who am I, that I can't borrow Megabite from Mtn and send him a birthday wish on here?
So here I come my boss. Happy birthday to you once again. May God grant u all the alluring things ur heart ever craved for.
Don't light a candle,( cos it can't produce enough smoke.)
but I want you to go to that filling station near your area, especially the one that doesn't sell fuel during scarcity of fuel.
Move closer to a fuel pump, light a cigarette, raise it close to ur chest, close ur eyes and take a silent breath, make a silent un-petrolic wish, and trust in God to make it come to pass very soon in abundance like the amount of smoke you see after lighting that cigarette.
Do have fun Boss.
Welcome to your birthday... From your Shangoic bro, Theblessedman tbm uare somting else. Petrolic wish bawo |
