This guy has to stay alive because he represents an interest shared by a significant part of the country. Most people screaming 'kill him' has no clue what the outcome could be. No nation disunited in purpose ever makes progress. The IPOB youths are free radicals and are available for use by enemies of Nigeria. They need not be confrontational but they could wreck significant economic sabotage. Our gas supply lines, power plants, crude lines and many critical infrastructures are out their insecured. Anyone interested in wrecking the economy with targeted sabotage have very little resistance. Nigeria must tread with caution ..... most importantly at this time of bokoharam, fulani herdsmen, economic downturn, hardship, desperation etc. |
Whoever pushed for the emergence of his deputy is responsible for his death. |
Thanks to Mr Body Language Most unfortunately, Buhari has no plan as at today to fight and end terrorism. It seems more likely of a tacit support than a fight against. He seem more interested in crowning thieves, fighting political enemies and militarizing the biafran agitation. His plans on these are known while no plans exists for bokoharam and fulani herdsmen. |
Klopp just made a statement...... no better start to an EPL campaign |
Anyone expecting a free and fair election is on a long thing. Buhari is aiming at a one party state. Free and fair elections ended with GEJ. |
Bokoharam have received a huge boost since Buhari's presidency. FG and the army seem to have done more of lies while bokoharam has progressed actions and massive assaults. Some things are just not adding up about Buhari. |
After propaganda comes reality |
These political jobbers claiming technocrats are so predictable. They believe that Once they scream an anti-GEJ jargon. .... they get Buhari's attention. NOI and other GEJ technocrats have been landing globally renowned portfolios while soludo have been ranting from the sidelines for an FG job. |
Buhari is a name not synonymous to good things home and abroad. Whenever that name Buhari is mentioned, its either sharia, dictator, dog and baboon blood, retrogression, anarchy, economic meltdown, political bad blood, bokoharam and lately lies and propaganda. Maybe we need be reminded. .... what good news can be associated with Buhari? |
NgeneUkwenu:You and your illiterate president knew about the falling crude prices when he was making dumb campaign promises ..... no room for excuses. If buhari can't deal with the heat, he should throw in the towel and leave the kitchen. Its not too early for him to own up to his lack of capacity. Imagine your defence over government's dependence on MTN fine. This is a clear signal to the investment community to stay clear of Nigeria as your lazy govt are only keen of ripping investors |
The good thing about reality is that no matter how long propaganda stays. ..... reality must set in at the appropriate time. Hello Nigerians ...... enjoy your change and never stop screaming 'sai buhari' while at it. |
Hahahaha. .... unserious country |
oK |
sammyxclusive:The bolded is a clear case of stark ignorance and beer parlour gist. Let the FG ramp up power generation to 15,000MW and lets see how importation of generators can limit power supply. |
Nigeria has gone to the dogs and no amount of propaganda can save her. The rate of robberies in and outside lagos, the hardship, the sufferings, reduced power supply, fuel scarcity, increased bokoharam attacks, badly damaged economy, loss of jobs, political witch-hunting in the name of anti-corruption, small generator ban, poorly though-out TSA processes, IPOB agitation, pipeline explosions etc etc .... clearly shows we are headed downhill since May 29th. Ambode the anointed one of Oba Akiolu of lagoon kingdom, his ogun state counterpart and the chief propagandist Buhari cannot do much to help themselves at this time. Failure is written all over them. And if we are not careful, we will loose all the gains we've made in our democracy under 2 years. |

This is the same sect that Buhari attributed an attack on them as an attack on the north. In saner climes, individuals who make these kind of statements end up with life jail terms at remote underground locations in Siberia. But in Nigeria... they are made presidents. Thanks to the gullibility and naivety of most Nigerians who cannot independently reason beyond their noses. Unfortunately, we have to share the outcome of their silly decisions. |
People should not be allowed to speak rubbish and get away with it. Only a myopic view will support the outright ban on small generators why small generators only? Bigger generators without appropriate maintenance cause similar pollution. But the bigger issue is that the gas flared from Rivers state alone has more cumulative impact than all small generators combined. Yet the government cannot even push to eliminate these flares and even use the same gas for power generation. But they are quick to ban small generators..... how exactly does that make sense? Only under a president like Buhari will banning generators come before adequate power generation and supply. This is a clear case of thinking backwards. |
Buhari lacks all moral rights to tell Nigerians to have hope. He championed the campaign of hopelessness in the ex-govt He condemned the efforts of the Nigerian Army and attributed their fight against the north He never lent a helping hand but rather cursed from the sidelines. As it currently stands, its hard to be convinced of Buhari's commitment to a fight against Bokoharam. Truth is that Buhari is yet to make progress on this fight from where the ex-govt left it. |
The advisers of this govt have got it all wrong since May 29th. We have massive gas flaring in the Niger delta with accompanying environmental degradation We have many many unfit cars and trucks plying our roads while fouling our air We have massive deforestation going on around developing cities But Buhari feels his most important policy is banning the only succor for small businesses in Nigeria even without making a single effort to increase the generation into the national grid. How does buhari really reason? |
Who would believe Bokoharam will last one week after Buhari becomes president considering the way he continously condemned the way Nigerian Army has hitherto handled this war. I just pity the naive and gullible masses who refused to think for themselves but rather believed baseless noise and propaganda. Any discerning Nigerian should be scared of what the future holds for this country. |
No nation disunited in purpose ever makes progress. If a group wants out, conduct a referendum and let them choose their future. Unfortunately, we'll end up sabotaging little progresses. And with the lack of intelligence and security, there is little to be done. Any loose Canon with a dynamite can easily impact our already frail economy. |
And what does the reaction amount to? Less or more Bokoharam killings? When did he start believing that we need to work hand in hand to fight bokoharam. I thought he was coming to single-handedly clear them? How did he work hand in hand with the previous govt to fight BH? Or he has forgotten easily how he condemned the fight against bokoharam and termed it a fight against the north? The Nigerian masses are the pawns ..... naïve, gullible and nearly dumb masses. Sometimes, i feel Nigerians need to suffer a bit in order to discern reality from propaganda. But on the other hand, I've also realized that there is nearly no redemption for a shallow/ inactive mind who is further engaged in ethnocentric and tribal games. |
APC under Buhari has set a very bad precedence on the separation of powers, politics and governance. These distractions are bound to continue till 2019. These has nothing to do with national interest. Every move will either be Pro Buhari, Pro Tinubu, Pro Saraki, Pro APC chieftains and nearly anti- masses. Its one thing to secure power, its another thing to manage it. |
Meanwhile. .. Nigerian army keeps releasing arbitrary names daily as captured Bokoharam kingpins. Someone needs to remind them that propaganda only succeeded during the elections but cannot defeat bokoharam. Just one attack in lagos and the already frail economy will be quickly gone 6ft below. |
ojun50:It was not normal under GEJ. For a good part of GEJ's 5years..... there were no festive season pump price hike. They checked the excesses of the marketers and that was why they went after Allison Madueke with paid propaganda and spiritual attacks. |
Let's keep propaganda aside... On what sector of our nationhood can we say this government have performed better than the previous govt? ..... I mean performance that can be physically measured? What sustainable positive change have been achieved since 29th may? |
Ok |
Osho is numerically challenged. |
duwdu:Agreed, and those PDP members are OBJ, Atiku, Saraki, Amaechi, Ngige, Kwankwaso, Elrufai etc who are the chief pilots of APC. So you now know where the fight should start from. |
If corruption must be fought, it must be fought with the right systems. Obasanjo used Ribadu, Yaradua/ GEJ used Waziri/ Larmode...... Buhari will use Magu but THAT WILL NEVER END CORRUPTION WITHOUT INSTITUTING THE RIGHT SYSTEMS. With people like Amaechi, Tinubu, Saraki, Obasanjo, Atiku, Babangida, Ngige, Okorocha, Timipreye Sylva etc going about their businesses unchecked. ...... the fight against corruption is dead before it started. Only the right systems will ensure that there are no sacred cows. Anything else will end up as selective witch hunt. The least corrupt democratic nations of the world have no obvious and loud anti-corruption outfits and equivalent EFCC chairmen. ..... rather they have systems that works. Without much noise around jailing anyone, GEJ dealt with ghost workers, fertilizer scams, public procurement schemes processes. No democracy around the world have succeeded in ridding corruption by attributing its fight to an individual.... only the right systems can ensure a sustained fight against corruption. E.g. .... If Buhari's fight against corruption in 1983 was effective, how come corruption continued till date? Africa does not need strong men, Africa needs institutions - Obama |
