The ongoing insecurity in the northern region of Nigeria may be further compounded by alleged disloyalty in the top ranks of the Joint Task Force [JTF] operation led by the Nigerian Army.

Credible source, have revealed, that the Nigerian security agents had obtained the location and pattern of movement of Boko Haram commander, Shekau, within their radar – through the assistance of security gadgets donated by America, but something strange is happening.

The JTF in Borno had pinpointed and confirmed the location and/or hiding place of Shekau – near a boundary town to Borno on the Niger Republic side near Goure, where many of the terrorist fighters were reported to have escaped to, following the declaration of State of Emergency.

However as the Nigerian military forces swooped into the town in considerable numbers – hoping to capture Shekau and his key men, they all disappeared into an unknown location following what the top ranks in the Nigerian Intelligence circles believe was a tip-off from a mole within the Army led operation.

The Commander of the Military forces stationed in Borno Major Gen. John Ewanshia was really unsettled by the narrow escape of Shekau and his men. Consequently, the security forces has been reshuffled to weed out alleged Boko Haram sympathizers and suspected Muslim hardliners, suspected to be loyal to powerful men who are against the current government.

Guys, the naked man in the picture you see above is supposedly a lecturer in Delta State University, Theatre Arts department. According to the reader who sent me the story, the lecturer had threatened to fail one of his female students Tega if she refused to sleep with him. Initially, Tega had rejected his advances, but when Mr Lecturer's wahala became plenty, then he threatened to fail her, Tega gave in. Well kinda.

Cos somehow, she was able to convince her lecturer to let them have the sex at her apartment instead of a hotel room. When Mr Lecturer showed up at Tega's place yesterday (Friday), she let him in. Purposely, she left her doors unlocked and got her lecturer to take off his clothes, ready for action.

Unknown to him, Tega had arranged with her male friends and neighbours that they were to barge into her room once she got him completely naked.
And fortunately, everything worked according to plan. The rest is history.

SYDNEY (AFP) – An Australian couple shot to fame on social media Thursday after an image of them having sex by the side of a rural highway made it onto Google Street View, sparking speculation it was a stunt.
The image, which has since been censored by Google, shows the couple bent over the hood of a silver sedan alongside the Dukes Highway outside the town of Keith in South Australia state.
The man has his shorts down; the woman appears to be waving to the Street View car as it passes.
A user on the social media site Reddit first posted the image, with Australian news outlets concluding the steamy scene was probably posed.
Another user, benxology, claimed the couple was “me and my missus”.
We saw the Google car on the way to Adelaide a couple of years ago. I sped up, overtook the car then
posed with a Corona (beer) in hand,” he said.
I pinned the location in Maps to remember where it was to later check but never found it … Hilarious!!”

President Goodluck Jonathan's younger brother Meni Jonathan has died at the Aso Rock clinic Abuja today.
Medical sources told SaharaReporters that Mr. Meni was flown in from Bayelsa last week to receive medical treatment at the Villa.
The cause of death has not been revealed.
Mr. Meni is President Jonathan's half brother and had acted as the head of Otueke council chiefs before his untimely death in Abuja today.
He was described by a family source as someone in his 40s.

Famous comic actor, John Okafor, otherwise known as Mr. Ibu, has lamented that the Nigerian motion picture industry - globally known as Nollywood - is currently being ravaged by a virus called homosexuality. In this interview, the thespian discloses that some guys had been after him, trying to harass him sexually.

He says: “One idiot came toasting me o! That is true, as funny as it would sound.

"Something is happening in this Nollywood. These upcoming actors are being used by some of the established producers who are gays. If you want to get a job as an up and coming actor, you must sleep with them. You must be sexed to get a job.

"We are no longer in the era of the female actresses suffering from sexual harassment; it is now man to man. Abomination! God has a lot of things to judge.

This is not the first time the actor would talk about his experience with gays in the make-believe industry.
In a recent interview in Houston, Texas, US, Mr. Ibu also voiced his conviction about the virus eating deep into the industry:

A small company in the north of England has developed the “air capture” technology to create synthetic petrol using only air and electricity. Experts last night hailed the astonishing breakthrough as a potential “game-changer” in the battle against climate change and a saviour for the world’s energy crisis.

The technology, presented to a London engineering conference this week, removes carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The “petrol from air” technology involves taking sodium hydroxide and mixing it with carbon dioxide before "electrolysing" the sodium carbonate that it produces to form pure carbon dioxide. Hydrogen is then produced by electrolysing water vapour captured with a dehumidifier.

The company, Air Fuel Syndication, then uses the carbon dioxide and hydrogen to produce methanol
which in turn is passed through a gasoline fuel reactor, creating petrol.
Company officials say they had produced five litres of petrol in less than three months from a small refinery in Stockton-on-Tees, Teesside.

The fuel that is produced can be used in any regular petrol tank and, if renewable energy is used to provide the electricity it could become “completely carbon neutral”.

The £1.1m project, in development for the past two years, is being funded by a group of unnamed philanthropists who believe the technology could prove to be a lucrative way of creating renewable energy.
While the technology has the backing of Britain’s Institution of Mechanical Engineers, it has yet to capture the interest of major oil companies.

But company executives hope to build a large plant, which could produce more than a tonne of petrol every day, within two years and a refinery size operation within the next 15 years.
Tonight Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) officials admitted that while the described the technology as being “too good to be true but it is true”, it could prove to be a “game-changer” in the battle against climate change.

Stephen Tetlow, the IMechE chief executive, hailed the breakthrough as “truly groundbreaking”.
“It has the potential to become a great British success story, which opens up a crucial opportunity to reduce carbon emissions,” he said.

“It also has the potential to reduce our exposure to an increasingly volatile global energy market.
“The potential to provide a variety of sustainable fuels for today’s vehicles and infrastructure is especially exciting.”

Dr Tim Fox, the organisation's head of energy and environment, added: “Air capture technology ultimately has the potential to become a game-changer in our quest to avoid dangerous climate change.”
Peter Harrison, the company’s 58 year-old chief executive, told The Daily Telegraph that he was “excited” about the technology’s potential, which “uses renewable energy in a slightly different way”.
“People do find it unusual when I tell them what we are working on and realise what it means,” said Mr Harrison, a civil engineer from Darlington, Co Durham.

“It is an opportunity for a technology to make an impact on climate change and make an impact on the energy crisis facing this country and the world.
"It looks and smells like petrol but it is much cleaner and we don't have any nasty bits."

A Lagos trader, Modinat Nike Dada, in her late 30s is seven months pregnant for Funke Akindele’s husband, Kehinde Oloyede, E24-7 MAGAZINE can authoritatively reveal.

Not once or twice inside sources said the Ota, Ogun State-born trader was accompanied to several spiritualists and gynecologists by Kendoo in their bid to seal their romance with a baby. Sometimes in March, she got pregnant and filled with joy, she announced to her lover-boy, who close sources said was not ecstatic about it. “He practically took off, he stopped coming to her house, shunned all entreaties and stopped picking her calls,” E24-7 MAGAZINE’s source hinted. The following month, Modinat was shocked to read in magazines and newspapers that Kendoo wanted to marry the Return of Jenifa’s star actress, Funke Akindele. She was devastated, flustered but once again, her family rose and stood firmly behind her.

In the last few months, Modinat has been under intense pressure to keep her mouth sealed and advised to avoid the media. As it were, Funke Akindele’s hubby with five kids already is expecting in the next few months three additional children in his harem. His second wife, Fadekemi is in the last trimester of her pregnancy and is due to deliver soon. Modinat will also have her baby latest in December latest while Funke, reported to be in her first trimester is expected to deliver mid-July 2013.

A man who had lost his job and feared he could no longer support his family doused himself in alcohol and set himself on fire in front of the presidential palace in Italy on Thursday.
The 55-year-old Romanian severely burned his legs and torso, but does not have life-threatening injuries, police said.

A police officer burned his hand trying to put out the flames in the incident in Rome outside the 16th century palace, which serves as residence and office for Italy's head of state, Giorgio Napolitano.

The Romanian, who lives in the northwest Italian region of Piedmont, had recently lost his job as a truck
driver and was struggling to take care of his wife and baby girl, Italian media reported.

The country's year-long recession has been worsened by tax rises and pension cuts introduced by Mario Monti's government to try to help rein in the massive public debt. Unemployment is at its highest level since monthly records began in 2004.

A wave of highly publicized suicides linked to financial woes this year has highlighted the human cost of the crisis.

In August, a man set himself on fire in front of the Italian parliament after battling unemployment, and died a week later.

@activeman, you should not have put up that graph picture, It's against voguepay's terms i suppose.

I hate to say this but it beats my heart to see how interswitch and their partners bill clients and deduct money from their accounts while on the other hand telling the clients on the merchant's site that their transaction was not successful. I've been mailed twice by 3 site members now thier their bank accounts were deducted several times while trying to make payments which were unsuccessful and yet their accounts were deducted. One clients had her account deducted thrice!!! And yet interswitch and voguepay and giving us the "Waiting" game? What do i tell my clients because as far as they know, it was my website they made the purchase? Na wa oooooo!!!

We were not aware of the problem at first because Interswitch has connectivity issues with bank servers once in a while (e.g when your ATM card is debited and ATM machine does not dispense.). For those that reported early, the support team thought it was one of those problems. It was when the report became consistent that we had to start troubleshooting it.

Accept our sincere apologies.

We believe that the problem has been resolved now and you will be notified officially once we confirm that it is working flawlessly.

This is a problem with GTPay Portal. It affects only the cards processed through gtpay/Interswitch.
We have been communicating with GTPay and Interswitch and we hope it will be resolved tomorrow.

We have also triggered a notification to all VoguePay merchants which should be visible once they sign in. All failed transactions are being refunded to buyers' bank account or credited to merchant wallet upon manual confirmation of any payment till GTBank resolves this problem.

While VoguePay technical support works every day, Interswitch and GTPay technical support only responds on weekdays hence the delay in resolving it over the weekend.

Our support has been most responsive and all support tickets have been answered within minutes or at most, within hours. We have not left any merchant stranded on this issue and we will not leave any merchant stranded. We will ensure that no merchant will loose a penny even if we have to ask them to request a refund through their banks. Please submit a support ticket if you experience a broken transaction.

Please bear with us as we work with the Banks and Card Issuers to resolve this problem.

Okay, i understand now. But frankly speaking, i think GTB's GTPay sucks as this issue is so important that they should be able to tackle it on non-business days because customers make use of their portals 24/7 to buy goods and services.

In a case like this use multiple ways such as Email, forum, phone, Chat if all fail got to their office.

You have got to be kidding me!! I'm considering pulling out.....imagine the loss! Simplepay4u.com begged me to integrate, even though they had visa processing and i bragged about voguepay and now this? meeeen........i'm just pissed!!!! I'm still considering what to do...but if it continues by monday, i'll leave voguepay!

I just discovered after about attempts from my site members that voguepay has a problem as they are not able to process payments for people who want to pay for services right now. Voguepay used to work up till now but right now, it's not just working. And their support services were not helping matters when i contacted them. The bottomline, I've lost over N100,000 from my transaction history on my account on their website.

Now the question is: Is it that all these Nigerian payment processing companies are a joke or what?

@databoy247, save yourself the stress, Vogue pay rules. I like the fact the leke ojikutu of voguepay knocked off the yearly fees and stuck to just 1% of transactions, and her's the sweetest thing, VERY EASY TO INTEGRATE EVEN IF YOU ARE A NEWBIE OR A WEB GEEK!

My only problem with Voguepay is the fact that you can't pay for services with a Visa card. I hope he is working on this.
