CandyOps: That’s the problem with creating a false impression. When the real thing leaks your whole rep is shattered.
Just like Bob Risky with his edited pics and like Nigeria with their overpackaged front and laptop boys attacking good guys online for a monthly stipend.
The funny thing is the dumb people are usually the loudest and after a while their dumbness gets loud enough it gains traction and now looks normal.
Imagine an almajiri boy like Abba Kyari & illiterate like Buhari lead the most populous African nation because why??
Imagine a dumbass like Gehgeh now opening a ‘university’?
Naija rewards stupidity so imagine where that keeps you — a learned wise prominent person.
You are way below thugs and miscreants especially if you’re broke on top This post should be pinned on the front page of all Nigerian social media. Do not underestimate the power of stupid people, especially when they are a majority. |

GRACEGLORY: No, you're not doomed. You're a piece of diamond covered in dirt, and needs to be refined.
You're 33, plenty of time to rewrite your own story. Acknowledge your habits as the chains they are, but break them one win at a time: Track triggers, swap junk for real food/exercise, delete betting apps today, and seek therapy or a men's group for accountability (Nigerian resources like MANLY exist). If faith calls, lean in, deliverance starts with surrender. You've restarted before; this time, build a non-negotiable routine and celebrate Day 7. You're not doomed; choose different. You've got this. This is how evangelism should be. Damn, I miss the good old days... |

I was patiently waiting for the "AI will take your job" people to jump into the beautiful thread..
And they did not fail to disappoint me.
I'm beginning to believe that the people who are pushing this "AI will take your job" narrative are people who either failed to build a good career in Tech, hence are using the AI thing as an excuse for their failure or people who don't even have a job at all.
Cuz... Why the heck are they everywhere trying to discourage humans from learning and making progress in their careers?
Meanwhile, I tried venturing into DevOps sometime in 2023. I already had good knowledge of HTML and CSS before joining.. But damn, I couldn't continue.
Aside from the very demanding 9-5 that was barely paying my bills, I also needed to attend to my family and my side hustles. Worse still, I enrolled with a UK-based online Tech school, due to the difference in our time zones, the timing for the classes wasn't favourable for me at all.
Wish you luck, man.. |

As poor as Senegal is, they have an electric train service that has been running uninterruptedly for over a decade now.
Nigerians need to travel... No need going to US, UK, China and the other overly developed countries... Just visit some African countries first, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, and South Africa... You'll see that we're still lagging when it comes to infrastructure. |
