The security agencies threatening the protesters have forgotten that it is due to their inability to curtail the activities of bandits in the north, that has contributed to to the food crises that were currently facing.

All the monies that they have been throwing about on unnecessary state house projects, hajj, foreign climate trips, etc would have been used to import food items to flood the markets, while they figure out how to tackle the high cost of transportation and get farmers back to their farmlands.
