The only way that can be guaranteed is if we ditch the Presidential system that gave us an inordinately powerful centre prone to the most irresponsible and excessive abuse of power known to man on Earth.

I used to literally tear my own hair out during the Fulani herdmen murderous rampage throughout the South because I know it can literally be brought to an end instantly with only a few security and policy adjustments.

Yet Buhari and his employees, like Malami, dug in their heels to insist things must remain as they are. "No going back on grazing route" and such rhetoric.

That was when I realised it will never be well with Nigeria if we do not adopt regional governance that, inyrinsically, can host greater checks and balances plus institutional strenght and integrity.

Only the Army should remain under Nigeria. Everything else should fall under regional control.

Buhari made it clear our diffrences, leading to indifference and even hate for each other, means it is very dangerous to concentrate power in one hand that may host disdain and laxk of duty of care for others.

First thing to demand from Tinubu is weakening of the inordinately powerful centre in favour of devolution of power towards regions.
