But the issue with us Nigerians is that we tend to be more Reactive than Proactive. We hardly take precautionary measures to avert disaster. We await disaster and start looking for solution. I want to believe that tank would have shown signs of impending collapse but they neglected it

You don't know Nigerian people. They are very ready to do that. In fact, it is a thing of pride to live in Davidos house as tenants and comfortably pay outrageous sums.
That's senselessness taken too far.

As we speak, over 20 persons have contacted Davido for the house just in a few hours after the notice went viral

I am planning to start a small poultry behind my house and would appreciate suggestions from people with experience here on the best breeds to go with.

What I'm looking for;

1. Easy to care for and not requiring too much attention.

2. Breed that is resilient.

Others and I , not I and others. Thank you

3. Breed that can possibly produce small amounts of eggs for family consumption.

4. Can be fed with anything, leftovers, basically not requiring spending much on feed, even if I'll have to.

5. Can grow to a reasonable size for consumption (at least bigger than our regular local breeds)

Suggestions please.
Hoping I and others can learn from the experienced nairalanders. Thank you. 🙏 🙂
