The Hon. Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun was acompanied by the Comptroller-General of Customs, Col. Hameed Ali Ibrahim (Rtd), on an inspection visit to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, with a view to accessing the technology used by Customs and look at the possibility of providing modern technology to enhance Customs efficiency at the Airport.

The Comptroller-General of Customs Col.Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd) expressed confidence that improved technology will boost NCS operations and increased revenue collection for the Federal Government.

Troops of 21 Brigade Bama, under 7 Division area of operational responsibility,in a blocking position, have at the early hours of today, cleared escaping Boko Haram terrorists that came through Sabsawa axis of Sambisa forest.

The troops also recovered a Toyota Hilux, 2 AK-47 rifles with registration numbers 58006915 and KO 35839, as well as 37 rounds of 12.7mm metal linked ammunition. Unfortunately, one officer sustained injury during the encounter. He is however in a stable condition.

The tragic incident happened yesterday evening at Mobil Filing station by Mr Biggs at Oregun, Lagos, while people were struggling to buy petrol. While trying to park by a fuel pump, the driver lost control of his car and crashed into Mr Biggs. Unfortunately the man in picture was by the door and his leg was broken by the car.
