Kepukepu:I'm not in the mood to school you on "investment" and its many enablers for economic prosperity of any nation. most of you can't see beyond your nose.. Road is a critical infrastructure for ease of doing business and for more investments to spring up around the surrounding area. Please let me ask, how many road did Goodluck Jonathan or his predecessors in PDP that y'all have been hyping build?.. how many did they repair??. Hatred is bad I tell you. |
Kepukepu:Were you there when the plan was designed?.. this one you're sounding very sure of what you don't know. Arguing with you is pointless, the only bad part of this whole thing is that we won't be able to stop those criticizing the coastal highway from using it in future when it's completed.. cure yourself of hate. |
Kepukepu:The old roads are bad.. moreover the highways were not built to handle heavy duty vehicles. You do realize that it takes 14 hrs to travel from Lagos to Abuja by road and almost 2 days to travel from Lagos to Borno right?. In the same Nigeria due to bad roads and pot holes along the highways. You can't be wiser than your Government, applaud a good initiative and stop playing devil's advocate for your selfish interest. |
professorPABX:He is well travelled, reason I'm surprised with this his outburst. I hope he will take time to study the laws of FRN and retrace his steps. Landmark is an illegal occupant in a public property and infact ought to be prosecuted and all the gains he made over the years retrieved from his accounts. |
Kepukepu:Use your God-given brain, it's free of charge. 3rd mainland bridge in Lagos was built despite Eko bridge and Carter bridge already in existence linking the mainland to island.. Today most people prefer taking 3rd mainland bridge cos it's faster. Benin- Ore route won't handle the cars, buses, tankers, trailers, container trucks etc. that will be moving from Lagos in the West to South to East to North.. common sense dictates that we have another route for ease of movement. Or do you want petrol, gas tankers to be exploding along the Benin route just to satisfy your own myopic thinking?.. remember your family members can fall victim. That coastal highway is a major game changer for Nigeria. |
Zxcvbnmghtr:They prefer to be asking Exxon Mobil, Shell etc. to move their Headquarters to Akwa Ibom, Delta and likes instead of having a super coastal highway that will link major cities in the South in space of 4 - 6hrs. My own joy is that it will decongest Lagos and boost economic activities in other parts of the country. Lagosians will breathe air of relief again. |
Most of them travel abroad with their eyes closed.. China is building bridge in the sky, while many other countries in Europe have super highways that connect all their cities, with subway system too. We know the sore losers are only pained that PBAT and his team have hit the ground running and are performing beyond expectations.. In 3 yrs from now, Nigerians will be smiling. |
Lagos-Calabar coastal highway is far more important than any Landmark beach front or whatever he claims is on the coastline... The coastal highway will open up multi-million and multi-billion dollar investments along the route that will create x1000 more jobs than what Landmark is claiming now. LASG will still demolish the place and all buildings along that corridor when the yellow rail line starts, all the noise they are making is initial gra gra. |
So many projects are ongoing in the North including the world class railway Buhari started building to Niger republic (when Soith East had no functional railway), but you'll never see Igbos open mouth to condemn such.. It's when they see Yorubas making moves to develop the South West that they start criticizing and comdemning. The Lagos-Calabar coastal highway will help reduce the commotion, traffic jams, trailers and long vehicles queues on Lagos roads, even trucks lifting petroleum products from Dangote refinery can use the new route instead of going through the usual highways to avoid tanker accidents and explosions due to bad state of the Benin-Ore route. It's only a mad person and a shollow mind that will say the coastal highway is waste of resources.. People that can never do good things in their miserable lives. |
That Lagos-Calabar super highway will so transform the Niger Delta and bring about the age long development the region deserves. The Landmark guy has no right over any land or coastlines in Lagos or anywhere else in Nigeria to start with, so what is the madness about?. Let him relocate to UK and set up beach along their waterways and see if UK Govt. won't jail him and his money. No jupiter will stop that highway.. just imagine people criticizing IBB back then over 3rd mainland bridge. Truly common sense is not common. |
CluelessMODS:I don't know what the fo0lish man's problem is with the Lagos - Calabar coastal highway, something that is PPP with FG committing paltry 10 percent to total project cost. If not sheer envy, jealousy and hate, I see no reason why a sane person should be against the project. Yoruba leaders need to wake up o.. the time has come to draw the line. Well-meaning Yorubas worldwide must voice out and condemn Obi and his followers, let the whole world see the politics of hate and bitterness being played in our country. |
CheapHomes1:Fvck off my mentions. |
garykoeman:Someone that's an ethno-religious bigot to the core.. I shake my head for Yorubas that voted for the fraud in the last election. Had it been he won, most of them would have died from shock with the kind of hatred he'd have shown towards Yorubas. Ask the mugu one thing he did in Anambra for good 8 years when he was Governor, he won't have any answers. |
Wetin this olodo know?.. a man that has no achievement infrastructure wise in his 8 wasted years as Governor of Anambra too is talking. Thank God the colossal failure didn't emerge president, he would have left Yorubaland especially Lagos to rot away while he'd focus on fixing his Igbo people everywhere in juicy positions at Abuja and pushing his ethnic domination agenda throughout the country. Empty vessel. God pass haters.. The Lagos-Calabar coastal highway is a more cost efficient way of reducing all the trailer and tanker queues at Lagos ports causing untold hardship on Lagosians. |
It's only in Nigeria that you'll see people mark out an area of land and be laying claim to the place.. can Landmark owner go and erect shanties along the beach of a place in say UK and be crying about that he spent $100 million?. |
I asked my self one time that what if Mmesoma the result forger wasn't igbo, say a Yoruba girl for instance.. I'm 99% sure she'd have been arrested, prosecuted and sent to a correctional facility. It's like some are more equal than others in this Nigeria, cos I don't understand how the House of reps will support criminality by asking JAMB not to prosecute Mmesoma. I trust JAMB to withold her results for straight 10 years sha. |
Nice one.. Lagos will no longer be referred to as a no man's land. Any baggar looking for no man's land should head right back to his village and call the place no man's land. |
It's due to effects of climate change.. by the time rain will start pouring, many places will witness severe flooding with loss of properties. |
So what is bad if President Tinubu decides to link all the South West States together?.. shows he is thinking ahead and is making moves for the development Lagos witnessed to spread to Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti up till Kwara and Kogi, like that. Or you want him to be like GEJ that left the Niger Delta region in mess and was busy building almajiri schools all over the North, I no know who send am message. |
Office wahala.. feelings will just be flying around anyhow. @OP That guy fit don shag your manager, better go out there and mingle so you can get over her. From the way you sound sef, you don't have the mind to knack married woman, so why torture yourself?.. She probably saw that you weren't forthcoming and focused on the other guy. Most women now na chop and clean mouth dem dey do. |
Offpointng:I say a very big Amen to that prayer for you.. I love it when young Africans have faith in themselves and by God's grace, we'll all make it in life without crossing ocean to go work as slaves. |
Amala is different.. millet is common in North, you can make pap with it or make swallow like the Indian one. I stopped buying it when I got tired, no taste atal but it's very good for the body. |
The place looks nice.. just that the oil allocations and revenue is not reflecting from structures visible there. |
Believeintruth:So who were those calling on the Army to take power from President Tinubu?.. clips I watched with my own eyes is what you're here ranting about. The Chief of Defence Staff had to issue warning to them before they stopped. You must think everyone is stvpid. |
To fix Nigeria is quite easy.. just make sure we have functional refineries to refine our own crude and reduce excess pressure in the demand for FX.. 2. Tackle infrastructure deficit and fix/ renovate existing ones (e.g roads, railways, stadiums etc.) across the country. 3. Improve food production likewise textiles, if as a Nigerian, you can't farm and produce your food and food items, then starve to death. If you can't wear our native fabrics, then go naked. 4. Place more confidence on the youths and graduates in the country. Instead of hiring foreign coaches to manage our soccer teams, foreign companies to build all the roads, use fellow Nigerians and indigenous companies owned by Nigerians to perform such tasks. 5. Promote local content and manufacturing.. all those shoe, bag, cloth, furniture etc. designers and manufacturers in Aba, Enugu, Lagos, Oyo, Kano etc. should get support from government to showcase their talent at world stages so others can be proud to buy "made in Nigeria" products. We have the talents here in Nigeria. 6. Last but not least is culture re-orientation.. You have to love Nigeria and believe in yourself as a Nigerian to achieve great things in life. When having handshake with the Europeans, Asians etc. grip their hands firmly, let them know you're confident and dependable. Let me not talk about religion sha.. the brainwashing and gullibilty can't thrive under my watch. |
Reno exposed your hypocrisy in a big way.. Lagos State that you're trying to ridicule has more than 3 Independent power projects (IPPs) that have helped solidify the State's claim as commercial capital of Nigeria. Anambra on the other hand has nothing, no power project initiative from Obi all through his 8 wasted years as Governor and you have the guts to talk about a beer company. You lots are indeed shameless. |
H0eloshi said she can't understand reason for DNA.. after spreading legs for another man, she wan carry the product give the innocent man now her ex-husband. All of you will learn gradually, |
It just shows Yorubas are alert now more than ever.. I laighed when I saw Igbos clamouring for Military to take power from PBAT, a Yoruba man through coup.. like they expect over 80 million Yorubas including those in the diaspora to just sit down, fold their arms and do nothing. They feel they'll sit down comfortably in Lagos and other parts of Yorubaland and be doing their business while pretending as if all is well. |
Reno is carrying out Atiku's assignmemt which is to clear road for him (Atiku) to become only opposition candidate in 2027. They have all the facts on Obi and will use it to bury his ambition.. Politics na your mate? |
Those days when they had strong traditional leanings, a Benin person dare not talk down on Ile-ife or Yorubas in general but things have gone entirely bad now, no respect for Ile-ife anymore. From Yoruba history that I read, the Oba of Benin was part and parcel of Council of Yoruba Obas and Chiefs. It was because Igbos like Azikiwe wanted a Mid-West carved out from Western region, having failed in his plan to become Premier over Yorubas in the Western region that they started scheming to carve out Mid-West for Igbos to dominate and become rulers there, then they sponsored so many lies about the history of the Benin people, pitching them against Yorubas. That is the sad history of Nigeria they try to cover up. |
Show us the ones that have impacted the society positively not personal and individual achivements.. I can list over 100k Yorubas that have achieved great feats in life. You mentioned Alaba, Tradefair and likes.. It's still Yorubas that made the environment business-friendly for Igbos to do business and thrive in those places.. Lateef Jakande made Lagos market easily accessible for Igbos during his time as Governor so say something else. |
The grass is no more greener on the other side.. the ones already ho0ked over there are telling the intending 'runaways' to abort mission. Africa is my home.. I'm black and proud.. No place like Nigeria, no place like home. |
