To tell ourselves the truth, how many women will agree to switch roles with the husbands and be providing all that's is needed in the home?. Hardly will you see any.

So how do you tell Nigerians to stop paying ransom for their loved ones to regain freedom from captivity when your leaders are busy pampering terrorists arrested by soldiers, offering them amnesty, feeedom etc. and even enlisting them in the security outfits (allegedly).

That is not in line with the international humanitarian laws.. every citizen is entitled to security and freedom by whatever means possible. Even combatants have rights when captured in battle, that's when you talk of 'prisoners of war' and countries exchanging captured soldiers or deceased soldiers. There are rules of engagement in warfare.

The real problem here is why our leaders are granting amnesty and pardon to killers and terrorists. This menace can stop if our people want it to stop, that's the fact.

My own concern is that let civil war not break out in this country called Nigeria again... a lot of people are tired of the senseless killings and kidnappings perpetrated by a perceived faction of the country who seem to be above the law or are protected by people in corridors of power.

We should always remember that cost of inaction is greater than cost of taking action.. our Nigerian leaders, make una lead us well. Stop this ticking time bomb before it consumes all.

We need concrete reforms in the Nigerian Police Force. State and Regional Police should come into force.
