Is this for real?.. those guys are lucky.

We need knowledge and technology transfer in Nigeria so Nigerian youths can embark on road construction and other infrastructure projects in our country.. We are not happy seeing foreigners handling projects all over the country.
Why do we have professors of civil engineering and others like them if we can't handle any road project successfully on our own. It calls for concern.

@OP It's the Yoruba language and culture that bonds us together.. we are Yorubas first before any religion and that has made our region very peaceful till date.. notice our muslim folks in Yorubaland don't behave like the wereys up North that destroy beer bottles and kill people for no just reason. It's because of civilization in the West.

There are bad sides too.. in terms of saboteurs. There are more saboteurs among Yorubas than any other ethnic group in Nigeria, it's God's grace that is making them fail. Those with non-Yoruba mothers too are doing theirs to destroy the Yoruba bond but they won't succeed.

According to extant laws of FRN, the Legislative arm of Government i.e. National Assembly (Senators and House of representatives) are to carry out oversight functions on the Executive arm (Ministers of the Federal Republic to be precise) in order to have check and balances..

The case of FCT not having Governor but Ministerial portfolio which are designed for Ministries is causing serious back and forth for FCT Administration. Now, the Senator wants the Minister of FCT (equivalent of Governor of a State) to come and be paying homage and be kissing her hands every now and then but ko possible.

Minister of FCT is like a State Governor while Minister for Education for instance is the political head of the Ministry of Education.. difference dey.

We saw the jubilation after the war and how Nigerians quickly embraced Igbos back into their societies as if no war ever happened. Same Gowon introduced the NYSC scheme to unite all Nigerians.
