In this era of "la cram la pour" and AI, it takes real ingenuity to be able to study or read something and explain in your own terms, in clear, correct, concrete and complete manner.
While la cram la pour can earn a student grades at secondary school level or Bachelors level, you'll need more to achieve excellence at Masters and Doctorate level when you'd be dealing with Professors who have mastered their respective fields of study.

Atiku don mess up.. you can't return petroleum subsidy to destabilize the economy that is already performing well with stable FX rates and other economic growth indices. The discussion now should be about renewable energy e.g. solar, hyydro, geo-thermal, bio and non- biological origins or even nuclear power, not return to petroleum subsidy that the world is already phasing out.

Someone should wake Atiku up that we are in 2026.. CNG, electric vehicles, hydrogen powered vehicles, etc. are the real deal.

It's just unfortunate that we have the crop of politicians treating issues of national security with kids gloves.
Ideally, anything kidnapping or terrorism should not have a place in a country with functional Government, by Government, I mean the Executive, the Judiciary and the Legislature. Any Government that sits and watch such crimes unfolding should automatically have zero as score card.

The primary responsibility of a Government is first to the citizens by way of absolute security.. all others e.g. roads, power etc. are secondary. I hope our leaders will sit up and start facing the real issues posing existential threat to this great nation.

It has reduced because the rescue of the kidnapped Oyo school children and teachers showed that the FG can locate, arrest and kill every single one of those kidnappers (with their family members) if there is the political will to do so.

I expect the Reps members and Senators in National Assembly to push a bill to make "death penalty" the punishment for kidnapping in Nigeria. By so doing, anyone venturing into kidnapping will know beforehand that he has signed his death warrant, as he will definitely be killed when caught.
Do you think those kidnappers and bandits too want to die?.. why are they doing all those criminal activities in the first place if not to make money so they can flex the ill-gotten money with their girlfriends, wives, concubines, etc.,
I saw a clip tecently of one Fulani girl going to buy Iphone 17 latest model with raw cash.. that shows decay in the system. The security agencies ought to have traced that girl, interrogate her and arrest all those she is working for.
It's really sad that this country has gone to the dogs. Things that should raise suspicion and public outcry have been normalized as if we are in an animal farm.

Atiku is still stuck in the past.. his knowledge about the petroleum sector is surface-level.
He wants to reverse subsidy removal and take us back to era of wastefulness, smuggling, oil theft, etc.

PBAT is far far better no doubt.. but my own concern is why the President has refused to checkmate likes of Dangote exploiting Nigerians while the Government regulatory and consumer protection agencies continue to look away. Cement that is locally produced in Nigeria is now #15,000 per bag and nobody is saying anything. BUA wanted to reduce cement price but Dangote refused, just because it will break his monopoly over the cement sector.

My advice to President Tinubu is that he should look into critical sectors like cement (for housing and real estate) and break every form of monopoly in the market currently. He should bring up a team for "Price control" as this is what has been lacking to regulate prices of goods and commodities in the market. In cases where the manufacturers refuse to reduce the price of commodities so Nigerians can get commensurate value for what they are paying for, they should allow importation. Infact as it stands, the FG should relax all ban on importation in some key sectors to increase competition and bring down prices.

Nigeria is becoming too hard for the common man, even basic amenities are no longer affordable. What this translates to is higher crime rates, higher rates of prostitution, insecurity and all sorts of negative vices.
Mr. President we are counting on you to save the housing sector in Nigeria. Cement shouldn't sell above #8,000 because all the raw materials used to produce the cement are sourced locally in Nigeria.

I'm not impressed.. as big as Nigeria is, we ought to have a train manufacturing/ assembly plant, not going to import refurbished trains from China.

We need to wake up and start using our heads... we can't continue in this manner while the Chinese mock us for being import-dependent with zero brain, zero value addition.

Why is President Tinubu's administration not taking drastic actions against these Northern politicians sponsoring terrorism and banditry in the North?.. it was Katsina State Governor that got exposed for sending terrorists to Saudi for Hajj with tax payer's money, the tax we law abiding citizens pay is what the Northerners are using to pay and fund trips for terrorists to go abroad. Wike should not endanger people's lives because of money. Abuja's master plan must be adhered to and all land approvals issued on the green areas in the FCT should be revoked.
The unenlightened ones might be asking, is it not flood, what is the big deal?.. It's a big deal because it poses serious health risks and can spread life-threatening disease through spread of microbes, medical wastes, wastes from landfills and other harmful chemicals and substances that might be injurious to human health.

Instead of selling up all the lands in Abuja, neighboring border towns like Suleja, Dikko, Nasarawa, etc. should be opened up to investors and link roads built to those places. It doesn't make sense to build luxury in one place only to end up with tegrets when disaster hits. Safety first.

You can liken ours to the former Soviet Union that collapsed in 1991 with about fifteen countries emerging, likes of Russia and Ukraine.

Northern Nigeria has over 200 tribes with different languages and cultures while Southern Nigeria has over 150 tribes with different languages and cultures as well. It's still like going back to square one, reason restructuring and return to regional system is the best.

It's quite unfortunate that the FCT Minister has decided to be selling off green areas and designated water channels in Abuja.. this is what you get when you ignore engineers, surveyors, town planners etc to be taking careless decisions for selfish gains and personal enrichment.

In 8-10years from now, Abuja might become a complete eyesore if they don't stop indiscriminate sales of lands outside the Abuka master plan.
