After all, no other executive has been so openly biased and favourable to the Catholic church and it's members than Giringori who made it a point to ensure that all his appointees were Catholics and every charity he carried out using Anambra state funds went to the Catholic church.

The President should simply decline call for courtesy visit from these partisan clergymen.. Onaiyekan had the means to spew the nonsense he did just because the President gave him access.

In the coming days, more like Onaiyekan will attempt this smear campaign, so it's better not to even give them that chance.

Cardinal Onaiyekan was indeed insensitive with the comment he made on Arise TV.. clearly he has political leanings, trying to smear PBAT's name.

The right thing for Onaiyekan to do is to call on State Governors to step up their game and secure their respective domains.. He can't apportion blame only to the President in this issue of insecurity. The State Governments and Local Governments are legally recognized as part of the Executive Arm of Governance in Nigeria, they should get to work, instead of sitting idle and embezzling public funds.

Theres is no state in Nigeria where communal clashes is as common as in Anambra. Hadly you see a neighbouring town not in one form of war with the other neighbour.

As someone rightly mentioned here.. blocking of roads and praying on major roads by muslims should be banned across Nigeria.
If not insanity, how will you leave your prayer houses, mosques etc. to spread mats on the main roads to pray.. what if an emergency situation needs to be taken care of at that time, so the patient should die stuck in traffic caused by muslims that blocked roads?

I'm disappointed with the leadership of the FRSC for having such bias outlook towards this whole road safety thing. The biggest threat to road safety in Nigeria are Muslims blocking major roads and highways, obstructing free flow of traffic to pray. The correction should start from there, not preaching by those who don't hold anyone to ransom or obstruct anybody's movement.

The amnesty programme for Militants in the Niger Delta set a bad precedence in Nigeria..you see the insecurity everywhere today is because some people in the North with backing of their political class think the national cake shared to Militants in the Niger Delta should be shared to their people as well.. so they started to create armed groups to be terrorizing their communities until when the amnesty will be extended to them too.

You can see the stupid mindset we have in this country.. if all the 350+ ethnic groups start fighting for amnesty, what else will remain to fix the country. We'll keep borrowing and taking loans to fund amnesty programmes for terrorists. Is that how a sane society should run?
