Lagos is still the best place to be, I've met foreign nationals born and raised in Lagos who claim to be proud Lagos bred, they are sharper and have this Nigerian spirit in them.

@OP Your experience is not peculiar to Lagos alone, even in Abuja, you'd still find people hoping to get tips from you. It's the economic situation and free spirit of Nigerians to assist one another. Don't take it too serious.

One point is clear from the DRL press release. He sold to NNPCL in USD at a price lower than what NNPCL currently procured from other sources (imported fuel). If the recent price adjustment by NNPCL was to equate fuel price to landing cost, DRL was expecting NNPCL to sell at a lower price than 898. It's obvious he sold to them at a price lower than that. NNPCL is trying to make profit off DRL.

Very correct.. some individuals in NNPC want to make profit for their private pockets at the expense of Nigerians, when most can't feed well or eat any longer.
The next protest should be directed at NNPC.. the protesters can't leave their enemies to be chasing shadows around.

I don't like how PBAT is allowing NNPC excesses under his administration.. I expected him to have launched a full scale audit of that agency like he did with CBN and replace all the management staff for new hands. When Atiku condemned the NNPC, statimg he was going to sell it off, they sat up.

Nigerians buying petrol at 1,000 -1,200 naira is just too bad, for a country blessed with crude oil. Nkan itiju gba ni.
