He didn't wish PBAT happy birthday na, so why should Soyinka's own come as a surprise?. Professor Wole Soyinka is bigger than Peter Obi in all spheres of life.. Obi is not fit to lace Prof. Soyinka's shoes in all sense of sincerity. Happy 90th birthday to our own Nobel Laureate. It's only those Yorubas who haven't crossed the borders of South West to mingle with other ethnicities that think Obi is worthy of anyone's support. It's only when they want to cheat you or use you that they smile with you. Nobody will celebrate him or any of his family members going forward. |
Wetin Anyim dey find for amala and ewedu party?.. anywhere belle face politicians. APGA no dey for him to defect to?. |
The idi0t should relocate to Daura where Buhari lives.. problem solved. PBAT's administration will change things for the better.. the security situation now can't be compared to how it was back then. Saboteurs and prophets of do0m aren't happy that Nigerians are still living. |
The girl's mother is a careless woman.. how will you send a teenage girl to go and meet a man alone?. A stranger for that matter. What are parents of nowadays turning into sef. |
DIVINEEVIDENCE:The wife was obviously cheating.. she might even have hand in the late husband's death just to be with her new lover.. A cheating wife as they say, can kill. |
She'll lileky sit on a new 'D' that same night of her late husband's funeral.. inside life. |
ElSudani:They never learn.. it was same attitude of not minding their business that destroyed Ojukwu, still the same nosy attitude that the ones here are exhibiting. Yorubas don't go to Igboland to draw boundaries for the Igbo people but Igbos are scattered all over Yorubaland drwaing boundaries, telling Yorubas where to go and where not to in our own territory. 'Aja to ba ma parun, ko ni gbo fere olode'. Only time will tell. |
They are planning to destabilize the North so they can use it to campaign against PBAT ahead of 2027.. what they fail to realize is that their fellow Northerners will be the ones to skin them and their family members alive. Other regions are moving forward, they want to use their selfish political agenda to continue killings and terrorism in the North.. we go see how the whole thing go play na. With LGA autonomy in force now, no 'tin god' like El-rufai can hold people hostage again. The progressives in North will move against their evil plan and with the help of Mr. Preaident, they will suffer shame and disgrace. Nigeria has gone past the era of using destructive politics to get into power.. this is 2024 not 60s'.. Forward evet, backward never!! |
Yorubafather:You're still validating my comments.. why do you lots enjoy misplaced priorities so much?. Is there any good thing in you people's brain aside "Lagos is not Yorubaland" falsehood?. This is pathetic. |
That's a serious country where lives of citizens are valued.. swap their leaders there with Nigerians, they'll still manage to destroy the place, embezzle public funds, then go to church or mosque to pretend and form saints. |
Yorubafather:Nothing wrong in moving around for business.. what is wrong is you leaving your home region to other regions and be calling the lands of those who welcomed you with open arms "no man's land'. I know it's the sad memory of civil war that's holding most Nigerians back from meting harsh treatment on the Igbo people living outside the South East. Y'all can't survive a second attack from Nigerians, forget the nonsense talks of Kanu on Radio biafra. Use your head.. think home, go home. Stop claiming to have developed other people's lands when yours is rotting away. Charity they say begins at home. That's the message that poster was trying to pass to people like you.. calling "Lagos no man's land" from now till 2060 won't stop it from being the Yorubaland that it is, won't make it part of Igboland either. |
This is what we have been telling them that they call us bigots.. others are focusing on their home region except the Igbos who are scattered all over the country looking for 'no man's land' to lay claim to. I get perplexed most times when I see Igbos screming for breakup of Nigeria.. even some that were born outside their ancestral lands, who haven't step foot in the East join them to scream 'give us biafra'.. Like they feel they can't be chased away or deported to their new country? I really don't know how they think.. once the country separates, if those on the other side say they don't want you, you have no other option than to take your leave. The owner of a house can decide to evict squatters or strangers from his/her home and lock his doors. I hope they look beyong coveting Lagos and go fix their home region cos nobody can stop restructuring and regional autonomy. |
celestineteryim:The 'gbaju e' man is hypocrisy personified.. what he doesn't know is that silence attimes is golden instead of displaying bad personality in public. |
Always reacting to bad news with speed of light.. Bad energy stay far far away. |
PBAT was at the fore front in the fight against the Military back then for our return to democratic rule.. he understands the principle behind separation of powers unlike the other guy who sat on LG funds for nearly 8 yrs in Anambra with not achievement whatsoever at grassroot level.. Now LGAs Chairmen will sit up and start relating with both States and Federal Government on matters affecting grassroot development. Really good move by Mr. President and his competent AGF. |
sultanofpigs:All these kids with internet enabled phones sef.. how old are you that you're spewing thrash here? You old pass Reno or you know pass everybody claiming Obi didn't allow LGAs operate in Anambra State during his tenure as Governor?. |
Talk is cheap.. Keep enjoying "One Nigeria" that is giving you people boldness to be spewing trash all over social media. The owners of land in South West including the Lagos you lots covet so much know themselves. The opinion of the OP and his co-travellers is inconsequential. For the records, Oba Rilwan Akiolu of Lagos never made the statement that "Lagos is not Yorubland". He has debunked it severally, even in video clips available on youtube. The Awori kings and chieftains in Lagos all embrace their Yoruba identity with their full chest. |
How is Reno wrong?..the 'gbajue e' man spent 8 years as Governor and refused to conduct LG polls in Anambra. It was after court verdict that he conducted sham elections on the eve of his exit from office. The Obi guy is anti-democracy.. I wonder how some are singing his praises up and down. |
Kudos to Governor Seyi Makinde for all his good works in Oyo State. Instead of Igbos to go home and build their region, they'll stay put in South West and be claiming what is not.. In 5 - 10yrs from now, when Oyo State becomes desirable by all, you'll see them claiming they were the ones that developed Oyo State, that Oyo State is now no man's land. Where iwa ole, ojukokoro will land most of you, we'll see. |
They'll be arrested and prosecuted in court by the Police if they don't run now while they can.. caretaker ko, caregiver ni. |
cadmanspize:Don't get your hopes too high.. the apex court has delivered judgement and it's final. The State Governors either comply or incur wrath of the FG. The choice is theirs to make. |
I hope it's not another rubbish film like the controversial one released by some idi0ts last year portraying the Eyo masquerade of Lagos as criminals. I don't trust these nollywood folks.. the Oyo dynasty must scrutinize the movie well. |
cadmanspize:You're wrong.. the SC judgement will revive the Local Government system in Nigeria that State Governors crippled so they can sit on LGA allocations and divert monies meant for grassroot development into their personal pockets. You don't know more than the SC judges. |
State Govs have no other option than to grant the 774 LGAs their autonomy in line with the Supreme Court ruling else FG will seize all States allocation. |
The President should re-consider that move and make amends.. creating new Ministry will only create more financial burden for FG and won't solve the farmers-herders clashes plaguing the country. |
Good development.. even though it's the right thing to do. FG will no longer pay State Govs the allocations meant for LGAs. This is the time for indigenous ethnic groups to wake up and guard their lands and LGAs jealously, elect competent Chairmen that will utilize LGA funds for the benefit of their communities. If you people like, elect 'ajoji' (strangers) that will pack LGA funds and run back to his village to lavish the money meant for development, then come back later to blame Tinubu for your suffering. |
AntiMarxist:No one tribe will dominate Nigeria.. it will never ever happen. That's even the more reason we are pushing for return to regional system of governance so we can kill any evil agenda nurtured in any part of the country for good. After PBAT's 8 years, power will go back to the North, preferrably North Central this time. |
NaMe4:This is one part of history Igbos wish could be erased but unfortunately for them, they can't erase it. Adaka Boro declared Republic of Niger Delta for his own people to exit the union, Aguiyi Ironsi and Ojukwu especially went all out to crush Adaka Boro and his soldiers (they killed many of the soldiers from that part), only for him (Ojukwu) to declare biafra and commit the same crime Boro committed months later after Aguiyi Ironsi's dictatorship got toppled by the North. We all know the story of how the minorities in the creeks backed the Federal troops to invade and crush biafra.. even Adaka Boro after his release fought on the Nigerian side against Ojukwu out of hunger for revenge over the inhumane treatment he got from the Igbos. |
The real definition of "betrayer" Fast forward to present day, his ignorant kiths and their offsprings are busy blaming Awolowo and Yorubas for not allowing them secede when Azikiwe and the Igbos in 60s' made the laws that criminalized secession. They want to change rules of the game after match has started.. cunning bunch. |
Ironbull:Nobody died at Lekki tollgate and there was no evidence of massacre in Lekki, Lagos.. even the US confirmed nothing like massacre. The images of zobo stained flags are everywhere which further shows the protesters had ulterior motives. Thank God most of you are coming to your senses now. Next time y'all will think twice when an unknown person or group tries to induce or incite you to go and block tollgate at night. |
Ironbull:The whole Endsars thing was a charade planned and scripted to stop Tinubu from becoming President.. the moment I saw them dragging Tinubu, accusing him left, right and center of ordering massacre at Lekki tollgate, I laughed... I'm just worried that Yorubas are in deep slumber not to see the game plan against our political leaders in South West.. they whitewash their own useless mediocres but try everything possible to rubbish successful politicians from South West, Nigeria. Truly, whom God has blessed, no man can curse.. see the PBAT they wasted time and resources trying to paint in bad light now their President. |
Nigeria can't truly divide in the real sense of the word "divide" if certain groups aren't willing to return to their ancestral lands. |
