So most Nigerian men in UK are now homeless?.. cos these stories are becoming too frequent. I watched one clip where an African youtuber was advising women from Africa especially the ones from Nigeria to stop involving UK police in their marital lives.. the Indian women according to the youtuber earn x3 of what our women earn in that same UK but don't call Police to throw their husbands out the way Africans are doing. Why are you people giving us bad name in the global community? |
It's the same way Osimhen will be as loyal and humble as anything in his club Napoli but will have no issues going on live video to insult his national team coach over hearsays. The over 100 Nigerians deported from Turkye last week didn't see it coming.. let them continue seeing foreign lands as their escape plan. |
They shouldn't just raid and destroy those fake drugs.. there should be a severe punishment for those involved in such devilish act. That's like commiting murder cos you're killing innocent people who will end up with liver and kidney problems from consuming these fake drugs. |
I remember those days of Jarus.. when the guy was still coming up, giving coaching lessons and all that for job seekers. Why is he allowing pride take over him like this?. Seun na your helper o, without NL, you wouldn't have gotten to the stage you are now. That aside, if he is muslim, he can marry up to 4 wives as far as he is buoyant enough to take care of them.. that is what their quran teaches. If the guyman wan add wife join the existing one, make una allow am. |
Woow.. so fast?. I'm sure once the Lagos-Calabar coastal highway is complete, the FG will face the major highways linking Lagos to other parts of the country for complete rehabilitation. Kudos to the visionary PBAT. |
His next stop should be Sultan's palace in Sokoto, to go and beg the caliphate.. I remember how Igbos petitioned UK, US, UN, ICC, etc. over some comments credited to Adeyinka's grandson in UK, none of them including this Honourable called Kanu to order when he was making hateful and inciteful comments directed especially at Yoruba pastors and accomplished political leaders including the sitting President. |
I cut 1, 3 & 5 when preparing plantain myself.. 2 is mostly reataurant style to cheat customers. That 4 is just somehow, you'll end up spending more time and resources in the kitchen. |
Yorubas are intelligent na.. most igbo ladies love challenge, both mental and sexual and are usually smart so they tilt towards Yoruba guys. If they are in South West, they fall for Yoruba guys. If they are abroad, they'll find themselves falling for Yoruba guys over and over again. Then the culture aspect too plays a role.. Yorubas won't force you to drink water used in bathing corpse or relegate you to backseat in career aspect.. Infact gender liberalism and gender equality are part and parcel of the Yoruba culture. |
Great move by the Abia born Roxettes CEO.. this is what we want happening in every state and region. Positive development, not violence or other social vices. |
Glad our people are waking up now.. Nigerians used to be proactive those days, took agriculture seriously until churches and mosques started springing up, then people abandoned work for faith.. when even bible talk am say faith without work is dead. Y'all should continue speaking in tongues on empty stomach. Ori yin a to pe. Let apostles and likes be deceiving you that you can become wealthy overnight through prayers. |
Let's hear what Mr. Obi has to say about this.. Soludo should have channeled all the money used for this project to tackle gully erosion plaguing Anambra State, then maybe invest some in beer factory. |
So Alex Otti sacked over 15,000 workers from Abia State civil service and the news didn't trend?. I hope he gave them something to fall back on at least.. in this harsh economy, some still dey render their people jobless. |
TheGift:This is what men like Atiku don't understand.. For them, It's lust for power, not peace and national unity. Good thing Shehu Sani is speaking to their conscience already.. North has completed 8yrs, while shouldn't South complete 8yrs also if truly we are one united nation. |
PBAT and his team need to do more if he wants a second term in office.. the issue of insecurity, banditry and whatnot should be tackled on time so farmers can return to their farms. Instead of subsidizing Hajj for pilgrims, they should enter PPP with farmers to set up large farms and agro-processing zones across the country to tackle the problem of high prices of foodstuffs in the market. The Power Ministry should ensure removal of manufacturing industries and other key industries from band A to other bands so they can survive.. high cost of power will only make more industries to shut down, leading to loss of jobs and economic collapse. PBAT should not go to sleep yet, the reason Atiku is courting Obi now is for him to sway votes of South East to his side in 2027 which if you check history well, is very possible.. Igbos have no problem voting Northerners over their fellow Southerners as far as they get VP or SP post. The Rivers State tussle too can be tied to 2027, some States in South West too might give PDP considerable amount of votes to get national spread. |
I'm not pleased with the way the current administration of PBAT is slacking on pwer related matters. Most of those big companies leaving Nigeria are doing so because of greed of some Nigerians that want to continue extorting citizens through the power sector. How will you place high power consumers like industries who need light 24/7 on band A with extra high power tariff and expect them not to fold up?. The Minister of Power will just open mouth and be talking rubbish he knows next to nothing about in Public. Even with electricity bills piling up into millions of naira monthly on band A, most if not all the industries can't get straight 10 hrs out of 24 hrs power supply, still they will fuel their generators to keep their plants running. Whoever is advising the President and his team better wake up, if not by December, 90% of industries would be closed translating to job losses, zero jobs and more economic crises which Nigeria might never come out from. There are some positions you don't just give politicians but people with discerning minds, that have what it takes academically and Minister of Power is one of such. |
It's possible that the girl was playing around on your phone and registered her finger prints on it.. It's also possible that you guys have identical finger prints. This generation of kids are drawn towards tech, so don't underestimate what a 5 yr old can do with gadgets. |
@OP You're very correct.. the inadequate supply of power has contibuted so much to the slow development of our economy. What do you think is the way forward?.. consider size and some inner areas e.g creeks. |
Let me seize the moment to reiterate that I remain friend to the igbos. Asides minor minor banters, I do not wish any harm for Igbos in Nigeria. |
Raskimonojendor:They want us to leave the forum for them. |
Quite sad.. May his soul rest in peace. It might be cardiac arrest. |
I will never call for genocide on my beloved Igbo folks.. Never! So this is the new trick to use alternates to provoke Nairalanders and get them banned to silence the few reasonable ones remaining. @Seun Kindly look into this matter.. this is a clear violation of all principles a forum should stand for. @OP I leave you to God.. you'll be judged by the Almighty. |
bixton:Finally.. someone who understands what is playing and is sincere. The whole thing has political undertone, all those stories of remittances are smokescreen to confuse people. I hope Rivers won't turn to another Borno with IDP camps everywhere. |
ExudeLoveToAll:The question now is for how long will this fight continue?.. Fubara has shown strength and courage but Wike sef no be push over politician. It is well with Rivers State people. I rest my case. |
The Vice President didn't say anything bad na.. he was just reminding you guys that the Sultan stool is more or less an institution to be jealously guarded. As una head dey sabi turn anyhow for North. Noone would have believed Emir of Kano, Emir Sanusi would be deposed by Ganduje. |
Ojuntana:Should I be the one to teach you English again?.. there are various forms of expressing oneself with the English vocabulary and it doesn't mean you mean harm to a person or group. If I say.. 'those cheering Fubara on want to get him killed'.. I could actually mean that those cheering him on want to put him in trouble or those cheering him on don't mean well for hiim. I also play with idiomatic expressions on here a lot, so don't take things too serious. |
Adolak:I have actually.. Right from the time Fubara won to the time he pulled down the Rivers HOA meeting venue and all. The way I see it is this.. Fubara was part of a clique yeah?, they were the "men in charge" including the so called Wike loyalists he is now fighting. Then maybe from a fallout, he wants to get rid of all others and stamp himself as an authority in Rivers State. You know this cartel sorta thing.. those ones too won't give up easily na.. everyone protecting their own interest and the few coins entering their pockets. |
greggng:Hmmm.. So what will you say about Governors handpicking their own successors?.. Isn't that a pointer to godfatherism on its own? |
