Using digital will cut off budgetary allocations and chop chop for some people.. It's just like asking why we are using generators in Nigeria while our neighboring countries have steady 24/7 power. I'm sure you know the answer.

You can see the gap in total population of both countries.. it simply means they would go through less stress to effect rapid changes in their electoral system compared to Nigeria. Benin republic too has gone very far.

When it was said to be the turn of the North in 2015, close to 90 - 99% of voters in Katsina, Kano, Kaduna, Jigawa, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kebbi, Borno, Yobe, Niger, Adamawa, Bauchi and Gombe states voted enmasse for former president Muhammadu Buhari.
I didn't hear or read anyone accusing them of bigotry or voting along tribal lines.

Victoria Island wasn't built by Yorubas one bit else they'd have replicated it in other SW states.
