@dangoteinlaw Imagine ehn baby 🤣🤣 Truely a though time. Last fight here someone sold materials to a client and ask the client not to count it 🤣🤣 and now it is most builders posting the same project pics since 2022. It is well oh tinubu do this one.
@ChybuzzDD You are right. One need to be very careful because of the situation of the country perhaps 🤔 someone who don’t have an idea about plumbing, installations etc will claim he is a plumber. Someone with no electrical idea will say he is an electrician. Once he gets your money, that’s the end. Everyone is seriously fighting to make ends meet. There’s a pandemic on TikTok now too, so many Nigerian pastors are going live on TikTok just to give spiritual messages whether fake or real only them knows. But these pastors keep asking viewers to bless them financially. Some will even tell their viewers it’s only those who give them money they will give spiritual message. These so called pastors are shamelessly begging for gifts and money on TikTok. This is desperate times in Nigeria and there’s hunger in the land. Most times Those in diaspora are usually the target. Seems to me like everyone is just out there only for what they want to get from you and to reap you off. It’s a tough time in Nigeria currently. |
@segcymoor Abeg Egbon. Ejoor 🙏 |
But @segcymoor You have already agreed to paying him back which is you automatically admitting to your mistake. Why still talking about lawyer to make the matter long When you can easily just pay him or fix the issue and let the matter rest. Just saying 🤷♀️ever since the client in question threatened you, has he actually executed any of the threats? If he hasn’t , then there’s no point than to just either fix the issue or pay him back honestly. |
@Rawgold300 segcymoor is not a fraudulent person. I’ve known him here on this thread since way back 2006 or thereabout and haven’t for once seen any complaints about him. This is a clear case of being stuck, mistake and miscalculation in dealings which can be sorted. |
@Rawgold300 He will sort you out don’t worry. You actually narrated everything clearly…That’s what they do now to try take someone that is angry over the shoddy job they did for them. Ask him to point it out if the roofs is not totally damaged? I spent additional 700k to try shore up things but was later advised that ill need to change everything .. please also ask him if he didn’t abandoned some of my work? May God bless you jare …I just know that he’s going to pay me my money
@segcymoor if you have the money, give him Back the money or rectify the roof issue. The reason why is because after doing this, you will have rest of mind and be able to move forward. If not, you will have to live with the guilt which will torment your heart for as long as possible. And the client in question will never speak good of you. And in life, where mouth reach, leg no fit reach am. If you don’t have the money to give him now, come to an agreement with him on how to pay him or get the issue fixed. and a lawyer should be involved at this point. |
@Rawgold300 I really feel sorry that you have to go through this act of manipulation from someone you trusted with your hard earned money and patronized his services but he didn’t do his “ job” to your satisfaction. From what I understand here, you reached out to @segcymoor to rectify the issue, probably @segcymoor refused to show up on time so you went ahead and got someone else to try and rectify the issue simply because you couldn’t wait for the issue to be rectified because it was beginning to get you worried/ stressed and you just couldn’t wait for the issue to be sorted out. But on getting someone else to fix the issue, you still encountered Rogue traders who were bent on taking advantage of the situation at hand by probably over charging you and still didn’t do a good job. First of all, @segcymoor your client has all the right to be angry because you didn’t do the job as expected by him hence all the threat and abuses because he wasn’t happy. Everyone has different ways of reacting to issues. It would have been as simple as coming back to fix the issue immediately your client complained instead of making him go through hell and regretting contacting you and giving you his hard earned money. It’s not fair. Did you even serve your client a petition letter? That’s wrong. What I think you did here @segcymoor is looking for a way to either not pay at all or delay paying your client back his money hence why you involved a lawyer which wasn’t necessary whether the lawyer is a competent one or not. Now, @segcymoor the excuse you are giving is that you will not pay your client back except the court says so which is the most unfair manipulation of all time. To me, you are just looking for a way not to pay the client in question or fix the issue in question. No matter how angry your client gets, that shouldn’t have been your own focus. Your focus should have been fixing the issue to your client’s satisfaction if not, your client won’t be running after you with anger here and there. This could have been avoided honestly. “Dishonesty and lack of integrity will usually catch up with you” The price of dishonesty is self destruction. |
@spyder880 wow what a beautiful modern American style kitchen you have here |
@horlabiyi congratulations bro. The house is already looking sweet 👌 |
@Skydivine wow that’s insane. A whopping 800k just for 30 tonnes. I wonder why that is. That’s really high. Ogun state and Lagos is cheaper . Imo, Anambra and Enugu 30 tons is #800k
@ChybuzzDD it is the 6 tyres which is 10 tonnes they call 15tonnes to people who don’t have an idea. How many tyres does it have? I usually use the tyres to gauge how many tonnes the truck can carry. 6tyres can carry a max of 10tonnes 10tyres can carry upto 25tonnes 12tyres can carry 30 to 35tonnes 18tyres can carry 40plus tonnes Na mumu go wan use 6tyres bring 15tonnes for me.
@Obinnau 8,300 per tonne x15tonnes=123,400. Transport 70,000 direct from Quarry. Interesting. how much do they sell 1 tonne, and how much they charge you for delivery fees.
Let’s learn something new. So, I just bought this particular Truck of Granite for 194,500 full 15 tonnes. They call this Truck Julius Berger when delivering and buying Granite. Usually, when you ask for 15 tonnes, they cheat you by using a smaller Truck which will only contain 10 tonnes of Granite and call it 15 tonnes for you. So, Whenever you want to buy your Granite, instead of saying you want to buy 15 tonnes of Granite, just tell them you want 15 tonnes of Julius Berger. The Julius Berger Truck is what will give you your Full complete 15 tonnes of Granite. The Julius Berger Truck is almost double the size of the Truck they will bring to you as 15 tonnes which is not 15 tonnes but 10 tonnes. I have attached the image of the Julius Berger Truck and amount of Granite that was delivered to my site.

@moviclade11 uhm 😐 it is well Working on a 3bedroom with 4 toilets, completed block setting to level, suck away and wastes also completed and 3 sides of the fence is complete, over 7m so far. Those people that say you can build a 3bedroom with 10m should come and explain abeg
@Billions123 For this you either need to monitor the project yourself or have someone you trust to monitor for you if not you will spend extremely higher than that. Considering the current economic situation in Nigeria and everybody eye Dey very Red. As in very very Red. If anyone hand touch you, your blood go Dry o. That’s just the fact. I heard a guy abroad placed cameras on his site just to monitor his site work from abroad. Lol 30m down and it hasn't gotten to the real cost intensive parts ooo.
@Free2Fly labour fee is different for different areas. And besides, the main focus here is the cost of building materials. Individuals can easily negotiate labour. You didn't add the professional/labour fees. Or will the 5mil miscellaneous expenses cover for them?
