nzeadachie:Is it his father's money that constructed the roads? You are one of those Nigerian s that think what the government does with tax payers money is a privilege to the People. Very regressive state of mind u v got there. |
Ok. |
I imagine a scenario where these Americans seat and tell themselves, “hey guys, how do we create the much needed publicity for this ‘the interview’ movie which is definitely in our national interest in more ways than one? Okay, maybe it’s worth it making Sony pictures loose a few million dollars and some insignificant data on the short run (definitely not in the long run if this works)”. “Let’s use our hackers and blame it on the enemy – Pyongyang” said one of them… “we may have the added advantage of reeling in the ICC or the UN” said another…. “Let’s toast to how intelligent we are and the fact that we have the mainstream and social media in our pockets to that effect” said a third guy in suit. What do u guys think? |

I am not saying the OP's opinions are not correct, u are right too. What is am saying is if u adress a global audience and mention 'war on terror' in place if any other way u can say it, the audience will cast their minds on American invasion of other countries. Fighting terrorism may be war on terror, but the world has ascribed those three words to the US tactics. It's like saying someone looks 'gay', 1st thing that comes to mind is homosexual, meanwhile, the dictionary has other meanings to it. bushdoc9919: |
Op, rename this thing from 'war on terror' to any other synonyms. War on terror is an American term that allows them enter any country in the name of fighting terrorism and their national security without waiting for anybody's approval. Quite different from anti_terrorism or counter_insurgency. Lets get it right pls |

So I had a contract job in Lagos and when I was called on to be interviewed for a permanent position in the same office, I had to respectfully decline because I prefer a much less paying community development offer I got in the north. I have since been thinking, did I make a mistake choosing job satisfaction over better pay? |
