chukel: those Benin guys are heartless. The first check before the bypass. There are 2 checks just before bypass. The first are devils. No matter what you pay, they must extort heavily. I pray they have useless children that will ruin them. Custom is extremely corrupt. You are very correct, when I saw them extorting from a guy driving Toyota Camry 2001, I knew this guy's are criminals in Custom uniform. |

I am totally against the relaxing of this lockdown, with our shambolic health care system, disaster is brewing in our hand |

I am really against the relaxing of the lockdown. I was arguing with Carshopper in a similar thread few days back, I told him that our shambolic health care system cannot withstand this pandemic, if it moves to another stage. Obviously there will be multiplier effect with the relax of the lockdown. Disaster is brewing in our hand. May God help us all |

Regard this , it has nothing to do with Tincan , they might be encountering little problem at the Guinea Gulf coast, we agents are also tired of waiting , I’m suspecting if they might be having problem with either N.P.A or NIMASA base on some fees . Some claimed it is Covid-19 related issue,. |

OgbeniOptional: Bros its good to ask ooo, my first car turned me to Mechanic because I didn't ask. That's why I moved to Toyota I have one fear of leaving the Toyota zone cuz I never let down by them. But I'm starting to like Benz ever since it saved my life once. Besides I'd be driving it mostly inside UI, agbowo bodija and its environ. Understand, but not for vehicle that is very common. I remember when I bought my Honda DC, I didn't mind all the stories about leg issue and I m glad because that car served me dutifully for 4yrs, before I decided to upgrade. |

No need to scare him, I don't see any reason why you should spend more than your monthly budget on that car. Fuel is getting cheaper and if your engine is in excellent shape your will be surprised at your fuel economy. BTW, I don't really buy the idea of asking for advice when I want to get a particular stuff. It gives opportunity for bicycle owners to advice you on type of vehicle to buy and not to buy |

xcabczyxabczzzz: What are you saying? In every country those that recover(discharge) are more than those that died from the virus.
Bring the data from any country that suggest otherwise. Please go and recheck, 2 weeks back over 2000s died within 24hrs in US, did that same number recovered with that said time? |

sean079: We trusting our people to obey simple laid down rules is the first steps in building a nation. We cannot distrust our people and expect them to become developed and be civilised. No wonder Nigerian politician are contracting out simple task that can be done by citizens to foreigners. This mentality of judging our people incapable of simple tasks need to stop. Truth is bitter |

Carshopper: I don't believe this statement ...
You have seen people with facemask remove to eat - did you inform them they should sanitize with an alcohol based solution? Educate and enlighten
Whether we like it or not people will die from this virus ... we can not control the spread with a lockdown ... best we start seeking options to treatment.
Me and my immediate surroundings apply the face mask and sanitizer drill in n out of public spaces ... we dont want to be part of the other statistics ... please do the same within your immediate surroundings I should be all over Nigeria informing people how to use there mask? You are an advocate for it, why not you start doing it. You and your family are literate enough, do you know that more than 80% of Nigerians are illiterates and our kind of society does not obey rules and regulations |
Health › Re: COVID-19: Lockdown Or No Lockdown - Which Side Are You? by Fogman(m): 4:26pm On Apr 26, 2020 |
fortran12: It's easy to find ppl without facemasks so they can be prosecuted. But ones who travelled, how do u know the did? Are you not a Nigerian? How efficient is our law enforcement agencies? You expect them to be in every hook and corners in Nigeria. It is very very impossible. |
Health › Re: COVID-19: Lockdown Or No Lockdown - Which Side Are You? by Fogman(m): 4:21pm On Apr 26, 2020 |
Carshopper: Also Imagine if out of the crowded oshodi a higher percentage had the face masks on -
It will do the same effect a lockdown would have done - Spread the infection over a longer period so as not to stress the fragile health care system This is much more than face mask sir, our people don't even know the principles of using face mask, face mask is only but one of the many preventive method. Seen people with face mask, remove it to eat, what happens to there hand that might has been in contact with contaminated objects. You and I know that Nigerian can not keep to the precautive methods. We are not literate enough for it. Na Agberos u want ask to wear face mask? #StayHome #StaySafe |

Carshopper: I don't see that happening ... the first period of lockdown didnt increase the numbers
The second period of lockdown numbers increased ...
Staying at home brings the virus closer than ever.. cuz truth to be told, we all go to the market, supermarkets, medicine stores to get our essentials... it can be gotten from there and brought in to immediate surroundings Stay at home minimise the chances of contacting it. Maybe I ll need to remind you how crowded Oshodi, Yaba, Mushin, Iyana Ipaja and other public places are. Imagine if only one Covid-19 patient should visit any public place, how many will contact it and in turn take it home and also reinfects others. Please let not allow our anticipated plans or endeavours to becloud our reasoning. |

My summittion, is that we should not compare Nigeria with European countries with excellent Healthcare facilities, we all know that our shambolic health care system can not withstand this pandemic if it enters another level. Americans and European countries even with their excellent healthcare facilities were really overwhelmed by this pandemic. A few more weeks at home will definitely be in our own interest. It is only the living that makes plan or talk about food. #StayHome #StaySafe |
