What's the reason for your refusal? Do a mail to the admission office stating that you need a refund as your visa was denied.

Congrats dear.... This is my testimony!!! What time did the grant come? Am going to Macquarie too, i hv gotten extension Letter from Macquarie yesterday just do a mail to international admission office and thry would issue u the letter. Am so excited hearing great news like this.

Dept requested for reason for US refusal on 02 Feb 2018. I provided response 05 Feb 2018. I have been waiting for the grant ever since then n thanks to God Almighty.
Grant came in this evening for Self, Wifey n Son.
School already resumed for orientation week 19 Feb 2018. Classes start next Monday 26 Feb 2018
Seeking for extension for 2 weeks because of the delay in getting the visa.
Starting to plan my travel.
To those waiting, keep hope alive and continue to pray for the very best. You will get your grant IJN.

Good day my people, my school resumes on 26/02/2018, I applied since 21/10/2017.

I mailed DIBP and I got this reply

"Thank you for your email. Your application is still under consideration and you will receive a decision shortly".

Please what does this mean and how long do I need to wait?

Another Friday...... but it would definitely be with a positive difference. Faith, hope and trust in God absolutely can never go wrong. Wish you all (including me) awaiting grants favour today. Be expectant.

Depends on your pocket. You can do Emirates, klm, air france, turkish airline, Etihad....
For cheap and ok flight turkish would do, just that it takes 3days to arrive Australia. Where in Aussie are u headed?

The wait has thought me patience and really I never believed in spirituality till today. I’ve been pushed to go see our priest and I declined cos I never believed someone else can seat on anyone’s blessings like my Mum and aunt always put it. So as I couldn’t get through to Pretoria phone I decided to yield to my aunt’s pressure to meet our church priest for prayers. Well, the man said my visa was ready for long but something is delaying it(well, he said there was no point going far on that cos I don’t believe those things). He rather prayed for me and said if was a child of God let my visa come today and behold, few hours later grant don show.

Application Status changed from "Application in Progress" to "Finalized" without a corresponding mail to my agent. School resumes Monday 26th. Someone should please explain what this mean? Is it a Grant or what? No document asked from the embassy throughout the application process.

Write to your school and request for extension letter as your are yet to receive your visa grant. Do so now. When you get the letter upload on your application.

Good day all,
I just received a Refusal Mail and 3 years ban from Australian Embassy.
I called them on Friday morning and was told my application will be finalized this week.

I callled them today to remind them of my start date. I was told it has been finalized and sent to migration officer for assent. The case officer that actually handled my application is Valdinah.
The Devil wants me to turn to evil and believe there is no God. There is God my dear.

Action taken already!..
-Called the Operational Bank manager of the Bank, he was expecting good news from me but hearing this he was shocked.
He told me that the Branch nor their head office in Lagos received any such mail from the embassy for confirmation from the bank and how come they reached conclusion of such.
The letter to my sponsor that I submitted was also cleared by their legal department in Lagos.
He has assured me of their support in any way the bank can help.

I spoke to a lawyer, we have agreed, he will write to the Embassy and copy the Bank as well, mandating the Embassy to carry out their personal investigation from the bank. Also that if the embassy did not want to give me visa that they should overturn the ban because at no point did my sponsor( Father ) submitted any bank statement that is not genuine.

Tomorrow, I will be heading to the lawyers office as today normallly is their Court proceedings for cases in court.
I will welcome any input and advice on the way forward.
Some persons that knows me outside this platform knows what i am saying. You may choose to believe or you may choose not to believe either.

My concern is that 3 years Ban, it will tarnish my record because of their inefficiency, laziness, carefree attitude and poor judgement to verify documents. My mum has been praying, prayer of death to any persons or officials involved in this unfair decision. I can't blame the old woman because she has been part of the process and seeing this one questions if truely God still exists, yes their is God, today, now and forever more.

I doubt these guys really verify documents from what has happened to me.

What you need to do is differ your course or if you very such that your visa will come out anytime soon...send the school and email stating the problem and request for an extension for 2weeks or they should give you the last deadline that you need to be there.

Use diamond bank its 48hours.

I did yesterday informing them of my late arrival to campus due to visa grant delay. Yet to get a response.
For me I strongly believe I wld make it to school before classes start 26th February. Am very optimistic and trusting God for speed in visa grant. Am already packed, once visa show i wld book next available flight and start heading to sydney. #Faithactivated

Visa granted

I called the embassy to check on my status yesterday morning, I was told that it was at the final stage. My agent called my later in the evening that my visa was ready.

Grant date: Feb 16 2018
Sch Resumption date: Feb 19 2018

I pray that those waiting would also get there grants as soon as possible.
