And playing first-person shooter on a game-controller is totally wrong! You need your keyboard and mouse to work magic.

MzDarkSkin:

GTA 4 Nico Bellic's accent is annoying tho. lol.

He is suppose to have an eastern european accent, but of course that is not raw eastern european for the sake of actually understanding what he says.

BTW, anybody into mobile gaming with iphone/android/nokia? Just developed an Ayo game for these platforms. I believe every nigerian is familiar with the Ayo board game? After all, it is a legendary nigerian game!

Check it out and let me know what you think. Select your respective platform logo from star-arcade.com/en/games/id/62 , and it'll lead you to a direct download page of the app store, Or just search Star Ayo and get it straight to your phone.

The iPhone version is not yet ready, but will be out soon enough.

And the infected, are they recently circumcised Perhaps thats the doctors fault?
Health / Re: Male Child Circumcision by folir(m): 7:56am On Apr 05, 2011
Not really emphasizing health, but a lot of people get circumcised for health issues (and not talking about hygiene here).
When you say "almost very high %" what does that mean? 60%,70%,less? Is there a stated fact that this has to do with circumcision, or its just an obscure research that is actually more based on genetics, environment and personal immunity? But at the end of the day, you do what you feel right. All i'm saying is that circumcised outshines non-circumcised almost entirely. And my basis is mostly on a male perspectives experience, and just to clear things, no homosexuality involved.

but if you get a crappy doctor to do it and messes up, of course your son will not thank you too much for that.

Female genital mutilation? C'mon, lets not go that far! I have a bucket load of friends that wish they were circumcised, and a few actually did it at a later stage (ouch). Plus there are health advantages to circumcision. Ofcourse some people complain about not getting the right to choose, and "how it feels" that was mentioned earlier, but that is because they don't know better. Just like ignorant racists that never took the time to know different people.
Circumcision for all by 2012! thats my presidential campaign moto.

Gaming / Anybody Miss Good Old Mancala Game? by folir(m): 3:02pm On Mar 17, 2011
Not that im am an old man, but I watched my grandfather and my uncles play mancala (aka oware) when I was young, and I even got to try it myself. Has any of you played the game? or do you even miss it at all? I love traditional African games, and I found a modernized version of mancala!
So for all you that have played, and for those that haven't,  I introduce Star Mancala by Star Arcade!

Description:

Get Star Mancala and be a member of Star Arcade - Social Mobile Gaming Community

“Collecting stones? Are you serious?” Yes. Try Star Mancala and you’ll see what happens. The idea of the game is more simple than simple itself: collect as many stones as possible. By having more stones than your opponent at the end of the game, you are the winner.

Mancala is played on a two-sided board. At the beginning 24 stones are placed evenly in 6 pits on each side of the board. Collect the stones from the pits of the board to the larger store on right or try to keep them on your own side of the table.
The game is played in turns by picking all the stones from a selected pit. Moving counter clockwise the picked stones are dropped to each pit one by one, including your store but not your opponent's store. If the last stone gets dropped in your store, you get an additional move. But, if the last stone gets dropped in an empty pit on your side of the table and the opponent’s opposite pit contains any stones, both the last stone and the opposite stones are captured into your store. The game ends when all pits are cleared on either side. The opponent’s remaining stones are added to his store. The winner is the one, who has the most stones captured in his store.

Phones / Most Popular _smart_ Phones/tablets In Nigeria by folir(m): 9:47am On Mar 07, 2011
Hello follow Nairaland community,

I want to seek out a second opinion about the most popular smart phones in Nigeria. I have personally noticed that a lot of people use BlackBerry, and it seems that Android phones are also starting to gain momentum in the Nigerian market. How about iPhone and Nokia smart phones? I hardly see them in Nigeria.
Also, are there tablet users in Nigeria? and what would be the most popular ones?

Cheers!
Religion / Re: Why Pastor Chris Miracles May Be Fake. by folir(m): 9:27am On Mar 07, 2011
If the miracles were true, It would be world wide news? Because he could then help people that science has yet to find cure for. Not on any major internationally recognized news, and never heard of this pastor in the western world. It is funny that these "miracle workers" spawn only around Nigeria(/Africa).
But hey, some people believe that show wrestling (WWE,WWF) is real! hahaha
Travel / Re: Virgin Blue Flight Attendant Sticks 17-month Old In Overhead Bin by folir(m): 9:17am On Mar 07, 2011
Although not the smartest choice, I cant help but feel that the story is not exactly how the woman is telling it, and is trying to milk the situation! Firstly, no alarms when the attendant even touches your son? and you wait 10 seconds before complaining?
Gaming / Re: What Game Are You Currently Playing? by folir(m): 9:07am On Mar 07, 2011
I like to play multiplayer games, since I find Single playing quite boring and un-interactive. At the moment, the best multi-player games I am enjoying are:
UFC undisputed,
NBA2k11

Warning this games can give you major headaches if it doesn't go your way smiley

For those like me that also game somewhat on smart phones while on the go, and are stuck waiting somewhere. I found a relatively new release games for iPhone called TicTacToe, and another is Diamond Capture. These are PvP online games that are also addicting, and make time fly.
