At the end of the day, the answer is the same; the Nigerian labour market is a destiny killer.

Where there are no jobs to accommodate thousands of qualified graduates yearly, majority of the few ones available would only pay way below expectations. Some graduates settled for the poor pay because it's not everyone that is jobless that has the strength and physic to carry blocks and earn 5k daily.

The problem of this country is simply demand and supply. Even the jobs that we consider lucrative in Nigeria actually pay low by international standards. This is why just as Ghost left EU to look for employees here, mega western companies prefer to outsource millions of jobs to developing countries. Nobody said he's doing anyone a favor.

I do and I know those settling for ₦30k jobs are those who never prepared for life after the four walls of the so called University they went to.

The same could apply to the people seeking the job here. They learned the skills but they're not willing to invest time into finding fair jobs or maybe, like I've said, they want to use this opportunity to hone their skills.

I totally get where you're coming from but even if he's offering to pay $1 per month, it's up to the applicants to decide whether the money is worth their services or not.

You used two opposing words (expert and entry level) so I had to go with one. The guy said he was looking for low-skilled employees and favor or not, you can see people bidding for the job here already.

Graduates have so many options (esp online) but many are too blind to seize them, but it's true that many are settling for and even seeking jobs paying 30k-50k monthly. It's the sad reality.

Cyber security job is not some teaching or charge and bail kind of job. You'll spend nothing less than ₦1m to get the certification exam written after spending thousands to prepare for the exam.

Of course this doesn't mean some lawyers don't make millions. And listen to yourself. You said 'experts.' If experts are making just 350k (I said 'just' because I know how lucrative it is), imagine what people with basic skills would be earning.

I am not a cyber security expert but I don't need anyone to tell me what it takes to get into the field, but we are talking about a country where graduates are doing all kinds of manual jobs just to put food on the table. A country where bankers are quitting their jobs to go and wipe windows in Europe. And don't forget that 700 Msc holders applied for a driving job at Dangote Cement in 2012.

Please, do some research on what cyber security entails and the average salary for such a profession.

I know just how advanced the skill is, but my point is that it isn't too bad compared what highly educated Nigerians are paid in this country. Do you know that some lawyers receive 15k per month in many chambers in this country? The examples are countless bro. Some have the skills but no one is willing to give them a chance because they have no experience, and this is something the job can help them with.

It's low, it's probably exploitative, but it's not that bad if you look at the peanuts graduates and skilled people receive in this country.

This was exactly my thought. $50 is in fact very, very, very reasonable compared to what Nigerian firms offer here. I served in a factory in Kano during my NYSC and till date, those guys pay 40k per month to people who are frequently getting exposed to dangerous chemicals. Private schools are the worst

So it's safe to assume that Israeli ground troops are not really that special, their air force though is good. I don't expect the ground soldiers to be dying like this given that they took it upon themselves to invade Southern Lebanon in the first place.

This is absolutely true. The West used to enjoy complete media dominance at that time and everything they said was gold. Israel has been caught lying over a hundred times (by my estimates) since last year, and most of them had been reported as factual by western media. Forget what Hamas is doing and ask yourself, would Israel have fought Hamas the way it is currently doing if they were living among Israelis?

Would you support the Nigerian government to fight criminals living among you the way Israel is doing in Palestine?

Imagine Fulanis bandits being backed by superpowers around the world to take over Nigeria. Would you cower and submit in the name of peace or would you fight for your land?

I'm tired my brother,I have said it several times on this platform that casualties are just inevitable in wars and that word genocide has been abused over and over like we can't read.
Before isreal declared war ,what was Hamas fatality figures? Probably zero.
Now they claim 35000,12000 children (which is most likely a lie).
The truth is that Hamas is no match at all for isreal and they had no clear war strategy other than sympathy and propaganda which is obviously not working till this minute.
They (HAMAS) should shoulder most of the blame for causing pains to isrealis and a much bigger pain on Palestinians.
