My Details

I graduated from futa( quantity surveying)
one year working experience
am 26yrs
I got 6 band in ielts exams.

My position
I have been given an offer by curtin university for graduate certificate in Project management leading to master in pjm....2 years program. about to apply for visa

My concerns and questions
1.it seems my school is not under ssvf , what are the documents I will not in that case?
2.am thinking I should be patient a bit to go for PR.
3. should I consider two straight year program in project management....
4. what are the benefits of grat cert in getting PR in Australia?

1, yeah, its not under ssvp ,you will need to submit Statement of account ,you might want to show ties ti Nigeria, by submitting landed properties etc

2, I don't know much about PR .Oga belong ,NNBB westafrican be guru for all those levels

3, if you have direct admission for MSC ,you can take it

4, no benefits Sir ,its a pathway to MSC

One bro ,said uni of Melbourne ,took 5weeks. This ssvp rubbish admission, dey take time gan . u might be lucky sha ,to get it in 4weeks . fingers crossed

It's on their website, the deadline to apply for my course was on October 28, so it takes about 4weeks to get admission.

Oct 28 , for February 2017 next year right .its well

You're welcome. I'm still in Nigeria and yet to apply for visa. I'll apply as soon as I get admission. I thought all schools are under ssvp. You should check the assessment level your school falls under. Which school are you going to?

Not all schools are under ssvf .just 19 schools

Yours is AL1. Irrespective of the country you are from so long as you are applying for a degree program or you have applied for a diploma course and a degree course and have both e-coe, you will be considered as AL1.

But Sir , am lost oo .there are only 19 schools on AL1 .

I don't think all this schools require Soa .cos admission takes time ( 4 -6weeks ) , cos the schools ,scrutinize the documents sir .so they are low risk

When u said u applied on d 21st and got it on d 28 ,went thru u post and I saw where u asked .westafrican for help ,for embassy address .after that u pick race .since 28th u couldn't even say u got ur visa .that's almost a month .I know your type .the greedy fellow .when u need help .u sabi this place abi .

Read the body assessing accountant's website for instructions. There are three bodies assessing accountants. I am not conversant with them. Not sure if work experience is not compulsory to assess with them. Some accountants are of the opinion CA is the best out of them all. You can check them out.

Collect your money back... you will only need half of it to process your PR.

You are still very young and you studied engineering. You don't need work experience to be assessed with Engineer Australia.

Age - 30 points

qualification - 15 points

You just need to hit a 20 point mark in IELTS or PTE-A and you are good to go.

You can use the medicals for PR

The only academic work you will do is write a CDR for Engineer Australia and you can use your IT and project to write it.

Don't waste money going to school. Once you get your PR, you can do Masters by research tuition free.

Egbon any advice for someone that studied ,banking and finance in bsc and as ICAN..can I apply under general accountant on Sol list,without work experience
