Looks to me like gold wants to take out the recent DCL first before a pullback. I will be monitoring the chart for a rejecting candle if price gets to the resistance zone and declining trendline to open a sell and ride the journey below.

Apt. I'm watching for a pull back before a further fall. Last weekly candle closed as a bearish engulfing candle.

Sometimes I imagine how they do it TBH. If a setup appears in say about 70% of the trading pairs and knowing that no setup is loss-proof, I fear trading all those setups may have a heavy impact on the capital with regards to MM if it goes south.

I learned from someone with about three decades experience in trading that "you have to be a specialist" to succeed in the long term.

Trading a lot of pairs may be fun to some but I fear they may hardly ever understand the " inner dynamics" of a single pair in order to understand why they lose some trades.

True you are right, but a few people do it. I made mention of someone on Instagram. Check him out.

exactly! There is absolutely no point chasing all the pairs. Is like trying to eat all the food in a restaurant menu including the food one is allergic to such as diary product and sea food.

Some people can trade 50 pairs and be profitable. I know someone who does it easy. Check out Momoforex on Instagram, he does it.

However, it depends on individual, I tried to do that earlier this year but it didn't work, too tasking and given my busy schedule (9-5), I decided to stick to just gold and that has been fair.

So it depends on the individual.

Hey guys, follow this person attached on Instagram, he trades only gold. Very big trader, experienced and knowledgeable in the game. He rarely posts profit these days but he posts some good knowledge and advice. I watch his profile updates everyday. So much wisdom.

Also read natruetalk (Nairalander) post, see him on my following, go back to his posts years ago, look at his chats and the time he takes gold trades. So much knowledge there.

Got to find out that the two traders trade same style like I do and I have learnt a lot from them. Keep learning.

I meant you can become profitable from trading the asset.

Of cos. That is very possible. Growing my account from 120 USD to over 400 in 3 months+ is a big win. The consistency is not an easy thing to do I tell you. There are days I don't trade and I feel left out even if price move over 200 pips. Not easy I tell you.

I believe with market structure you'll be able to tame Gold. Just analyze on D1 and use your H1 for entry.

You already have the confidence to trade it.

No man can tame gold lol. For the confidence part? It's an everyday thing. To be profitable in this field is not child's play but we move.

I have reduced my lot size due to low level of confidence in my trade for the last 2 weeks.

Again, I am only concerned about consistency until next year all things being equal.

Go read babypips. com when you are done, you will know what to do next. Read the forex course there so you can have basic knowledge first.

Just want to know how a full trader cope with trading before I quit my job. Isn't this a personal information too that I should not divulge online. I know I can be scammed too and hence reasons for being initially cautious.
