Also, I decided to reduce my input on this thread so I can focus on my trading and yes I have been doing better the last 2 weeks.

I had a deep think and I realised posting here puts pressure on me (pressure to appear as a "guru" trader) and that disturbs my trading decision. I don't need this. I have a long way to go.

However, I check on the thread daily and look out for Gold charts and calls.
Thanks everyone for the input. I love them.

Come to think of it, why will someone who is not yet consistent in forex be applying for a prop firm? I still don't get the idea.

Firstly, forex is a game of psychology, if you have not mastered yourself properly and be consistent with your own little capital, I see no need reason for you to be going for the challenge especially for those who don't have much to spare. It can be psychologically damaging if you lose out.

I have not even considered such cos I am not in such mental state yet.

Anyways, goodluck to those who do. May the pips be with you.

Someone with a 10pips target won't have a 40 pips SL.

Naaah, there are people who pick up 10 pips daily and they are consistent. Long term Win rate and RR is all that matters. My own opinion.

The situation has changed a bit with the close above the trendline. The DCL is in and gold is seeking a DCH. Once a DCH is in, gold moves lower.

I hope you don't get stopped out. You been on that trade for a while.

This Gold Call Update: Today, I was at war with gold; I woke up to see it almost hit my SL, na so I longed again with double lot, went further against me, I tripled my lot until I saw a pull back where I regained some of the losses.

I entered a revenge still on H1, went against me, entered the opposite, went against me.....then i put my phone under the pillow, said I'm done for today. After abt 1hr, I checked again with rest of mind, longed again still on H1 - my previous position, na so I see that long bullish candle in H1, took about 113.0 pips - yes, this is the push I ve been expecting, thus I gained back the losses, closed it and relaxed.

Gold almost messed up my psychology today, this is not me, mba, I don't trade this way. This is my personal account, not props, av gat to relax and continue at market close today.

Lesson: Avoid revenge trading.

The bad thing about this kind of issues is, when it hit you hard ehn, it might take weeks to get yourself back.

Price is selling now but failed to reach my entry point. One thing about I tra day trader, you miss lots of opportunities. But hey, follow the system.
