Many, particularly on Nairaland, have asserted that Mohbad deserved the consequences he faced due to his earlier involvement in a lifestyle associated with gang activities and drug peddling. This viewpoint is not without merit. juman: Roboto11: During the early stages of his career, Mohbad was known for creating explicit and not-safe-for-work (NSFW) content, as evidenced by songs like "Ponmo" with explicit lyrics such as: "How can your p***y re-tight, Shey your puna bitter, why the p***y sweetener." His first album, "Light," in its entirety, predominantly glorified hedonistic practices and a wayward lifestyle. Additionally, there was an incident where he was found in possession of hard drugs, whether through a setup or not, which further fueled the perception of his association with a questionable lifestyle. However, it is crucial to consider another perspective. Since his departure from Marlian Records, the majority of Mohbad's songs have taken a more wholesome and positive direction. For instance, in "Tiff," he claimed to have quit smoking with the lines: "I don stop to smoke di ganja Modupe f'Oluwa, Hallelujah." His final studio album, "Blessed," released in 2023, stood out as one of the better albums of the year, containing no NSFW content. It was evident that he had undergone a transformation in his thinking, music and lifestyle. In my opinion, Mohbad's journey reflects someone who recognized the mistakes of their past and actively sought to make amends. His only challenge appeared to be the resistance he faced in embracing this change. 14 Likes 4 Shares

Romance / Re: If A Woman Is Giving You Attitude, Do This Immediately by ForG(m): 9:10am On Sep 09, 2023 |
willi926: The OP is, with all respect, spitting a lotta gibberish, but your bolded is not true as well. There is no woman in the world who doesn't "send your lack of attention", rather women are only not bothered when it's a man they don't value. Taylor Swift Miley Cyrus Katy Perry Kris Jenner Jennifer Lopez Jessica Simpson Gwen Stefani These are some of the most wanted women in the world. But they all almost died when a single man they valued withdraw attention from them. So if a woman isn't swayed by your lack of attention, then this is only because you hold no value in her eyes. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

Revolution2022 jackmrandy I want to express my gratitude to both of you for your unwavering assistance. I'm pleased to announce that the problem has been resolved. The laptop successfully turned on again after I removed and then re-inserted the battery. I received this recommendation from a user on a different forum. 3 Likes |

Revolution2022: jackmrandy: The laptop in question is a Thinkpad. But, I think you misunderstand me. It is not a power issue. Usually, when I connect the laptop to the power, my standing fan experiences a slight drop in speed, and if I'm using a generator, there is a change in its sound. This, I believe, is a normal occurrence due to the laptop's 90-watt charger. My point is, now, with the laptop in a non-functional state, the same phenomenon occurs when I plug it in. I don't believe the issue lies in the laptop drawing an excessive amount of current, sir. |

BigYash: Many online forums suggest that removing the RAM while the computer is running could "fry" the motherboard. But there are also numerous accounts from people who have personally removed the RAM while the computer was running and found that their laptop still worked fine after restarting. The reason I'm hesitant to consult professional repair services is that I want to avoid spending money on something I could potentially fix myself. More importantly, I'm concerned about investing in a repair for a device that might be beyond repair, when I could use that money to acquire a temporary backup PC in the meantime. |

jackmrandy: Thank you very much. I've attempted the suggested solution, but unfortunately, the issue persists. Whenever I connect the laptop, there's a typical noticeable decrease in power to other appliances (NEPA) or even the generator. This seems to indicate that the laptop is still operational to some extent. However, despite this faint sign of hope, there's no indicator light illuminating to show that the laptop is charging. 1 Like |

My laptop was making a beeping sound in the pattern 1-3-3-1, which I found out indicated a problem with the RAM. The laptop would power on but couldn't complete the startup process (stuck at black). During one of these instances, I decided to remove the RAM while the screen was blank but the laptop was turned on. However, as soon as I did that, the laptop immediately powered off and became unresponsive, even when connected to a charger. There were no lights or any sign of activity. I attempted various troubleshooting steps like swapping the RAM modules, using only one RAM stick, and even running the laptop without any RAM, but none of these actions produced any response. I'm uncertain if the issue lies solely with the RAM or if there might be a more serious problem with the laptop itself. Engineers and learned personnel, what do you think please |
Phones / Re: Fallacy Or Myths: Charging New Phone Before Use. by ForG(m): 1:31pm On Jun 22, 2023 |
It's not a myth, but it's outdated. Most devices today use li-ion which don't need such charging. Any manufacturer who demands a full charge is only doing that so your first use of your phone is long and satisfying. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Hello here. Please I want to make an international purchase that demands a one-off passport to verify my account. I was on the path to getting mine, but the process and documents to get it will take months. Is there any location in Lagos where I can find willing "guarantors", or anyone here who can help with theirs? I will pay I'm not a fraudster. In exchange, I will offer my ID card, current address and current place of employment if you discover any fraudulent activities so I could be reported to the police.

Op, you're living a farce and seeking public justification/validation to bed this woman. She is giving you short uninterested answers, and you're writing her lengthy paragraphed letters that involve wanton insinuations. You ask for a full disclosure and she sends you a 3-second voice note, and you're responding "do you need it now?" Keep deceiving yourself. |
