If I were you, I would insist on not just a full REFUND, but also the cost of reLocation. Abi no be money and stress you pass through transporting your belongings, cleaning the apartment, and arranging your thing. That's a lot of stress.

We have always said it, don't always go for an apartment in which the landlord or landlady lives in. You will be heavily restricted and monitored or better said controlled. Always make enquiries from old tenants before payment

If she wants you out then she should give you a legally signed quit notice and not you taking the decision which only amounts to self cheating.
if she is going to give you a refund then she needs to pay for more than the rent which the courts will decide. Please know your rights whether you are 23, 16 or 72.
