Michelle70: The north always produce votes almost twice the number that the south produce.
Using 2019 as a case study.
The entire north produced about 17.1m votes for both APC and PDP while the south produced 9m votes.
Anyone who scores 40% of northern votes will be having 6.8m. That is more than the SS and SE votes combined which is (5.4m)
How will Obi balance this huge gap when his hope is just SS and SE?
Got me thinking what kind of abracadabra LP will pull in 2023 ceteris paribus Even in SE/SS he will not carry much- see how Hope Uzodinma and Ikpeazu—rigged in folks, are (mis) governing” and nothing anyone can do about it. Sorry Obi, your talent is not welcomed in the zoo |

KnowAll: Are we Yoruba’s happy with d congestion in Lagos. It makes more sense to move d ports to other parts of Nigeria.
In d 50’s Sapele port was used to export timber & palm oil.
We later had Port Harcourt & Warri port which has been moribund because everything comes through Lagos.
In fact I am not a fan of that port they are building in Lekki without a corresponding road to move d goods out of d port quickly.
We need other parts of Nigeria working & delivery their goods & wares all over Nigeria. That’s because as an Easterner/Mid westerner, your forefathers challenged the British too much, more than other Blacks, and as a result you are contained and not allowed to be economically, socially, or politically strong…… AND, no offense to lovely Yoruba, but Lagos is not helping matters….s your people there are really psychologically homeless like Joe IGBOKWE |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Charles’ First Address As King (full Speech) by Fortruth: 8:14pm On Sep 09, 2022 |
iamwilliamsfx: I speak to you today with feelings of profound sorrow. Throughout her life, Her Majesty the Queen — my beloved Mother – was an inspiration and example to me and to all my family, and we owe her [s]the most heartfelt debt any family can owe to their mother; for her love, affection, guidance, understanding and example.
Queen Elizabeth’s was a life well lived, a promise with destiny kept, and she is mourned most deeply in her passing. That promise of lifelong service I renew to you all today. Alongside the personal grief that all my family are feeling, we also share with so many of you in the United Kingdom, in all the countries where the queen was head of state, in the Commonwealth and across the world, a deep sense of gratitude for the more than 70 years in which my mother, as queen, served the people of so many nations.
In 1947, on her 21st birthday, she pledged in a broadcast from Cape Town to the Commonwealth to devote her life, whether it be short or long, to the service of her people. That was more than a promise: it was a profound personal commitment which defined her whole life. She made sacrifices for duty.
Her dedication and devotion as sovereign never wavered, through times of change and progress, through times of joy and celebration, and through times of sadness and loss. In her life of service, we saw that abiding love of tradition, together with that fearless embrace of progress, which make us great as nations. The affection, admiration and respect she inspired became the hallmark of her reign.
And, as every member of my family can testify, she combined these qualities with warmth, humour and an unerring ability always to see the best in people. I pay tribute to my mother’s memory and I honour her life of service. I know that her death brings great sadness to so many of you and I share that sense of loss, beyond measure, with you all.
When the queen came to the throne, Britain and the world were still coping with the privations and aftermath of the Second World War, and still living by the conventions of earlier times. In the course of the last 70 years, we have seen our society become one of many cultures and many faiths. The institutions of the State have changed in turn. But, through all changes and challenges, our nation and the wider family of Realms — of whose talents, traditions and achievements I am so inexpressibly proud — have prospered and flourished. Our values have remained, and must remain, constant. The role and the duties of monarchy also remain, as does the Sovereign’s particular relationship and responsibility towards the Church of England — the Church in which my own faith is so deeply rooted. In that faith, and the values it inspires, I have been brought up to cherish a sense of duty to others, and to hold in the greatest respect the precious traditions, freedoms and responsibilities of our unique history and our system of parliamentary government. As the queen herself did with such unswerving devotion, I too now solemnly pledge myself, throughout the remaining time God grants me, to uphold the constitutional principles at the heart of our nation. And wherever you may live in the United Kingdom, or in the Realms and territories across the world, and whatever may be your background or beliefs, I shall endeavour to serve you with loyalty, respect and love, as I have throughout my life. My life will of course change as I take up my new responsibilities. It will no longer be possible for me to give so much of my time and energies to the charities and issues for which I care so deeply. But I know this important work will go on in the trusted hands of others. This is also a time of change for my family. I count on the loving help of my darling wife, Camilla. In recognition of her own loyal public service since our marriage 17 years ago, she becomes my Queen Consort. I know she will bring to the demands of her new role the steadfast devotion to duty on which I have come to rely so much. As my heir, William now assumes the Scottish titles which have meant so much to me. He succeeds me as Duke of Cornwall and takes on the responsibilities for the Duchy of Cornwall which I have undertaken for more than five decades. Today, I am proud to create him Prince of Wales, Tywysog Cymru, the country whose title I have been so greatly privileged to bear during so much of my life and duty. “With Catherine beside him, our new Prince and Princess of Wales will, I know, continue to inspire and lead our national conversations, helping to bring the marginal to the centre ground where vital help can be given. I want also to express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas. In a little over a week’s time, we will come together as a nation, as a Commonwealth and indeed a global community, to lay my beloved mother to rest. In our sorrow, let us remember and draw strength from the light of her example. On behalf of all my family, I can only offer the most sincere and heartfelt thanks for your condolences and support. They mean more to me than I can ever possibly express. And to my darling Mama, as you begin your last great journey to join my dear late Papa, I want simply to say this: thank you. Thank you for your love and devotion to our family and to the family of nations you have served so diligently all these years. May ‘flights of angels sing thee to thy rest’. AFP[/s] BULL.SHYT LOL |

Politics › Re: Three Lies That Have Been Told Against Zik, Ironsi, Ojukwu And The Igbo Nation by Fortruth: 5:02pm On Sep 09, 2022 |
gidgiddy: Theres a reason why succesive Governments have not allowed Nigerian history to be taught in schools, they dont want people to know the truth so that lies can be propagated. Im here to burst 3 lies that have being continually told against Zik, Aguiyi-Ironsi, Ojukwu, and by extension, the Igbo nation of which I belong to, so that people dont believe lies
That Zik was responsible for secession clause not getting into the constitution:
I have read about this lie so many times its just laughable. Its important to note that when in 1958 Nigerian political leaders gathered in Lancaster House London to discuss what the Nigerian constitution would be, in preparation for independence in 1960, Zik was just one delegate. Others who attended the Lancaster House Conference include delegation that was led by Abubakar Tafawa Balewa of the Northern People's Congress (NPC), and party leaders Obafemi Awolowo of the Action Group, Eyo Ita of the NIP (National Independence Party) and Ahmadu Bello of the NPC – as well as the premiers of the Western, Eastern, and Northern regions. The Chiefs of the Northern Region, Sir Muhammadu Sanusi, Emir of Kano and Alhaji Usman Nagogo, Emir of Katsina' Chiefs of the Western Region, Sir Adesoji Aderemi and Oba Aladesanmi; and Chiefs of the Eastern Region HRH Eze Johnson Osuji Njemanze MBE CON, Paramount Ruler of Owerri, Chief Nyong Essien of Uyo and Chief S. E. Onukogu
Yet people want us to believe that Zik decided for all these people what should be, or not be, in the Nigerian constitution? Thats not possible. Zik may have been against secession clause, but he had no power to decide if it should be put in the constitution or not as he had only one vote
That Ironsi removed federal Regional system and introduced unitary rule:
What a lot of people don't know is that Ironsi did not tamper with the 4 Regions he met when he came to power. His only budget of January 1966 reflected resource control and the revenue sharing formular agreed at independence. The much talked about decree 34 only standardised the civil service. Compare this with Gowon who came in after Ironsi and used Decree 14 to dissolved all 4 Regions, created 12 states, abolished resource control, scrapped the revenue sharing formular, and you find out that it was Gowon who introduced unitary rule
That Ojukwu started the war
Far from it, Ojukwu risked his life to prevent war and keep Nigeria one. He risked his life to go to Ghana and meet Gowon so as to find lasting peace in Nigeria during tumultuous times. He reached an agreement with Gowon, now known as the Aburi accord, that would bring peace and keep Nigeria together. Him and Gowon signed the agreement in front of the President of Ghana
Unfortunately, Gowon broke the agreement, which forced Ojukwu to declare Biafra, which brought about war. If anyone caused the war, it was Gowon who could not keep to signed agreement
Know your history and dont be swayed by lies Well done….want to add that Zik was acting in the interest of Britain although he tried to do whatever good he could have for everybody….more for others than Easterners…. That was his problem…. And he should have lost relevance after losing our in Western region elections…which would have brought sense to the One Nigeria Igbo to look at putting East first like other regions were doing at that time. Also Ojukwu not only risked his life to go to Ghana, he risked his life to go to Niger Republic DURING the war- a Muslim Fulani stronghold for a peace meeting that Gowon DID NOT attend… Too bad many BLACK AFRICAN guys today at the age of 33/34 are busy watching the colonial enriched BARCLAYS EPL and do not even know their own history….. |

OneEyedSnake: This is the real Map of Biafra .
The colonial anthropologist map depicting areas of cannibalism in Nigeria are coincident with the five current Igbo states of the SE.
Even the igboid speaking people of the Niger Delta never practiced cannibalism.
Asaba which is just a canoe ride across the Niger river from Onitsha did not practice cannibalism. So also the Igboid people of Rivers.
So why is this an exclusive Igbo culinary habit to feast on human flesh?
In the following posts I will be highlighting how an acute famine brought about by incessant communal warring between Igbo peoples , slave raiding by Igbo slave raiding groups like Arochukwu cult on fellow Igbos saw to a total breakdown on civility , law and order that made even farming an upheaval task . Two words for you IGBO AMAKA.. If you like go and hit your head on a pole E- JOOOT |

attackgat: The apex Socio-Cultural Igbo group, the Ohaneze Ndigbo United Kingdom chapter has suspended its President, Professor Joe Ukemenam over false claims against the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.
This was disclosed in a letter and disclaimers the Ohaneze Ndigbo (UK) sent to Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, the Special Counsel to the IPOB and Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, in response to Barrister Ejimakor’s demands on the matter, the letter to Barrister Ejimakor reads in part:
"The attention of Ohanaeze Ndigbo United Kingdom chapter has been drawn to a recent interview granted by Professor Joe Ukemenam to the Sun news online which was published on 20 August 2022 and subsequently re-published by other online media houses, in which he discussed a range of issues including the continued incarceration of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu by the Nigerian government"
"The Ohanaeze Ndigbo UK through this medium wishes to categorically disassociate itself from the views expressed by Prof Ukemenam on matters raised in the said interview.
“We hereby inform the public that those opinions and references made were entirely his and do not in any way or form represent the views or the position of Ohanaeze Ndigbo UK"
"We condemn the forceful rendition of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from Kenya to Nigeria against international laws and treaties and we call on the immediate release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu from his incarceration by the Nigerian government.”
