Good day mamas in the house, been quite a while.
I went for my first appointment @12weeks yesterday. I asked questions with the hope that my fears will be allayed, so considering my previous history of preterm labour @20weeks, I want to be sure I won't go through the same thing.
After d scan, the doctor said my cervix is closed but we can take precaution by doing a cerclage next week to avoid the unnecessary issue.
The bone of contention now is that my husband isn't in support of the cerclage, I know it had nothing to do with finance cos I have insurance. I have tried convincing him but he said no.
I decided to get a second opinion from another hospital, this doctor said I should go for a transvaginal scan, then we can take things from there.

My questions; are their alternatives to cerclage?
How much does a transvaginal scan cost?
I'm confused please, I'll appreciate your advice.

I cooked but everything taste bland but I forced myself to eat since I'm hungry.

I went to another hospital(Fmc) they said I will be on bedrest till 34 weeks before I will put to bed. Please has anyone experience this?

Go with this,they will monitor you both and know when or how to intervene. May God make it end in praise.

Oh thank you so much.This actually my 2nd .I went into labour naturally with my first. I no understand this one.Please how long does it take because the appointment is by 9am and I want Xmas birthday. Am already having headache because of fear of pains.

it depends on a lot of things. The method used( maybe iv or tablet) ,your dilation progress, baby's well being,pain threshold ET Al. just be calm. I went in on Thursday evening and had my baby 12am Saturday morning though I'm hoping this will be different. Good luck mama.

. I experienced same as a FTM. I tried all means of falling into labour, drank zobo, danced,walked,ate pineapple and all but I eventually went for the induction. it was not painful o! In fact,nothing out of the ordinary and it was a vaginal delivery without complications or tear sef. just keep an open mind and be prayerful.

October was the last time I had a normal period.
November , I was two days late (and I am never late) then I met with hubby and started bleeding on the third day thought it was my period but it didn't get heavy lasted 5 days but was so light I rarely even wore pad

Then started feeling nauseous heavy boobs, spitting,

December again was two days late according to d last time I bled met again with hubby and started bleeding. Never got heavy but was darker than d last time and also lasted 5 days

My doctor said its infection.
I was asked to come for treatment that its not pregnancy
