Within the amount of time I have spent on this forum, I have discovered that a lot of guys here are always quick to condemn and castigate the opposite sex at every opportunity they get, irrespective of the subject. I have also noticed how gender biased most guys are when airing their views on gender related topics. This in my opinion is quite appalling and it's a marker of incipient misogyny.

This has led me to the conclusion that majority of the men here are either pained losers who have been at the wrong end of relationships and at the wrong end of life in general, or they are men with low self-esteem who don't have the qualities to date real women, so they settle for less or can't even settle for any because no one would settle for them, so they come online to vent their frustrations and bash women at every chance they get.

My advice to mature ladies on this forum who know what they are worth is to pay no attention to these kind of guys. They aren't worth your time. Most of them are just immature dudes with low self-esteem who can't even talk to you in real life. Their views don't in anyway represent the views of real, mature, intelligent men who have been with real women.

Your wife's family becomes your family after marriage,so you should take care of them as you would your own family.

Modified: so, my comment was quoted countlessly in the wrong light. Sometimes,I think we should take a chill pill and read comments with an open mind. The family I talked about above is none other but a man's extended family and not his nuclear family and footing their bills is/should be done out of goodwill and not a matter of necessitative responsibility. Do you need to foot the subscription fees of your uncle?.. or buy aso ebi for his wife ..? But then if there is a life threatening emergency and you have the means to help,it'd be wise to do so....such rights are deserving of your wife's family too. I hope nobody quotes me in the wrong light. Cheers!

I am sure op created this thread to read women's opinion, truth is we all want what we want, we always have a choice, its not by force, a girl can date who she wants, whether a broke guy, rich guy, sexually active, and platonic guy, guys too can date broke girl, rich girl, sexually active and platonic girl, my point is the choice is yours no one has a right to request for sex or money except you are married.
my sister God bleas u....u just said d truth....u see y dis argument is on., some girls believe they have d right to request for money but. d guy has no rite to request for sex....but OP is saying it is better for both. parties not to be involve unless married which u stated

hmmm dear op ,.. R u arythuhhuhhuh Common gv gals a break.,sex isnt everytn okay.. Shud we al start fuckin al d dicks dat com across us, den wen we turn into a borehole , u wil com here to start spewing ur trashy opinion on how ur wife is as wide as river niger and u want a tight possy.... Leave gals alone. If dy gv u sex den shut up ,. If dy dont gv u sex stil shut up. Its their body so shut up ...... Aftarall no one is gonna force u to fucck a gal so dont make it mandatory for a gal to Bleep every idiot dat com their way... So shut up ur opinion okay . Argggh am so angry .op no offense though
many of u are not getting what d OP is saying....now imagine u feel dat u are ready to marry after ur NYSC., OP is saying dat should be d best time to date because d relationship may likely involve sex and also applies to guys dat when they are ready meaning they will have d means to put up a family ., that will be d best time for them to date....or else each person should abstain from dating from lack of money (guys)and from no sex involve(girls)

There's no sense in the thread. Ask yourself this question; is your main motive for going into a relationship with a lady "Sex?". If yes, then you shouldn't be in a relationship. We have brothels where you could patronise prostitutes if you so much desire sex.

Guys who reason like this offer absolutely nothing in relationships.
and u would say relationshio mustnt end in marriage....is dat not.? I just hope every party will abide by d rule....imagine saying no to sex in relationship and u later find out d girl is giving d pvssy out to someone else while u spend.....arrant nonsense....

Nigerian men and the overflogged, 'what you offer is sex', then in the same breathe say if you can't give sex...stay away from relationships. It's not about what she can offer but what you willingly accept. If you give the average guy everything, without sex...lots of them won't be satisfied. Face it and stop the 'it's all you can offer' talk.

When will you guys realise that sticking with a girl who offers just sex and isn't ready to improve, makes you as stupid, if not more stupid than the girl? You reserve the right to walk away from these kind of girls with your values intact...but you stay, because what you also want is sex.

I just imagine how angry some people will be if a girl says guys without money shouldn't think of romantic affairs. Don't give me that, so you sell your body. Good number of Nigerian relationships are fukcd up, guys in it for sex...girls for money.

Tueeh!!!
u see y I like truth....ur last sentence there is d truth....both parties are guilty....

D gal hasn't done anything wrong by expecting celibacy 4 a given period. She doesn't need to state it, though its best she does to avoid issues down d line. Its d guy dt wants sex dt should do so early enuff bro..
.
.dt having been said, i never hear people dy distinguish between types of rxn b4 entering them. 'would u be my gf?', 'yes' n voila, they're in a rxn. naija people rarely specify d kinda rxn they want by saying 'romantic rxn' b4 d dating starts
look it is selfish for u to say d guy should state his own part how d relationship should go y d girl is silent on her part....both should open up simple......FYI I always state d purpose of my relationship and in most cases t does not last because I have discovered most Nigeria girls are into relationship because of material gain not necessary marriage....I go into relationship for marriage sake ok

I have never seen it written down anywhere that it is a law for a lady to have sex with her bf in a relationship so this is a very sexist article. I don't understand why you should demand for such as if it's your right and it actually isn't but a matter of choice. Sex generally means more to women than men so that is why some ladies want deeper commitment before engaging in it. The society these days has made it become normal for guys to think it is their right when they are not even married to you. No one forced you to date her or buy things for her in d first place. Not that am condemning girls that do it but it is strictly a matter of choice and not coercion or giving an ultimatum for relationship.
very funny hearing this from a girl....did u read what OP wrote at all.? he said d relationship should define right from d beginning.... is dat not fair enough.....if u don't know girls have actually arm twist their boy friends to part with gifts and money... I have seen when a guy was ready to marriage a girl....dis girl complained about her phone., d guy promise to get her one after d marriage since marriage requires spending a lot of money.....do u know d girl use d marriage to forcefully demand for d phone or else it won't take place.....tell me what is more foolish than this

Oga it's a rxn, nt a military regime. the couple should be able to talk about such things...if d guy cannot love without sex, then he should let d gal know n d gal would tell him if she is d 'no sex' kind or nt...if d couple cannot talk abt these things, then make them kukuma break up cause dt ain't no rxn.
so what u wrote and what isaid earlier., what is d difference.?

i know u think u're being funny with dt kinda comment but bro, dt was so uncalled for.

@topic, it's a matter of choice na. op, u have absolutely no right to tell ladies to stay off rxns just cause of sex, dt is hogwash. If u know u can't love a gal without sexual intimacy, let her know n take a walk b4 things get 2 serious...leave d 'no sex girls' alone

I think most of those commenting are
seriously having comprehension
issues......
There are clearly "different kinds of
relationships"...
Before U enter any,ensure that U
have "defined" that Relationship to
avoid having difficulties with Ur
partner in the future....
"Romantic" relationships involves
s.ex....If U dont want s.ex during a
relationship,then dont go into a
romantic relationship..
....from the start, make it clear to Ur
partner about the kind of relationship
U want.....
If Ur partner agrees,Fine...
If not, then go Ur separate ways..
..Be in a relationship with someone
who shares Ur moral or spiritual
values...finito!!

.,...... ....................................................this is d type of advice I expected from u
