I can relate to this, back in the Uni. I escorted my friend to have her first D&C, this babe passed out! the Dr. and I freaked out, he was asking me about her blood group and all that wahala, me i had no answers for him...na so we just dey panic, i was crying and praying she doesn't die off on me, thankfully she was resuscitated and she told the DR. about her status and the need to take that injection, na so dem give her the injection before the process. She said her mum had warned her ever since she was a child about her blood group and the rhesus factor, her mum was a nurse. Today she's married with three kids to the Glory of God, the Most Merciful and Benevolent Father.

20k?? that one na Dangote pikin, i can't remember ever getting more than 3k or 5k from my folks. Then after ragging the entire family, i'd come up with something fair enough to survive the semester.

Not every part of Ikorodu is unsafe, my family lives in Ikorodu and most of the times where Badoo incidents were recorded are the interior parts of the town. My dear, if that young man is as good as you described then give him a chance. Date him, get to know him well, you can get married, plan your lives and move to a better environment when the time is right. Imagine if he had come from overseas, would you have thought twice before resigning from your job to join him? Again, what if you get an okay guy living on the island today but then he loses his job after marriage and you guys have to relocate to Ikorodu or Ibafo, would you not go with him?
