Yujin: Lol. All this political analysts that are operating under a smokescreen should know that we are wiser. Ngige by the virtue of his party can never win in Anambra state. Ordinary sampling tells one that APC and all the candidates they are offering are mediocres. APGA so far has done well and so will be retained in Anambra for a considerable time. As for Obiano, he has been doing well and we recognise that. His low points being the indifference he exhibited on our biafran agitation will not make us to throw him away. He will be cautioned someday. We are wise. If Obiano didn't do much to protect our people agitating but still goes on with the giant strides of development in our land and for our people, it will be stupid of us to vote him out for someone unknown to us. Simply put we trust APGA more than the candidate in question because they have so far given us the true leaders we cherish. If Obiano decamps after he clinches the second tenure, his situation will be worst. He can do a peter obi after he finishes his second tenure but not before. It shall be hurting any way as that will really affect the trust Igbo youths will have on him and Peter Obi. Igbo leaders/politicians must learn that consistency is the key to trust which reposes confidence on ones personality. They must realise that the foundations of buildings are most times not seen but they are what keep beautiful buildings standing for decades. They might not be appreciated by every passerby but are recognised by engineers who know the secret behind the durability of structures. Peter Obi if he was still in APGA could have done some advert about it when he was invited to the US of recent. APGA lost that opportunity because of Obi's parochial politics. Obiano should take not on the word consistency. Tinubu though I don't like him has today become what he became because of consistency. Today he's like a demigod. No one among the Yorubas in AD/APC can challenge him. They fear him for a reason. Consistency! Umuigbo muta nu. I love this sermon |

Neyoor: Before responding to your unwarranted allegations, I will reiterate unequivocally that Awon were contextually means Mad People in my mother's tongue. It is therefore pertinent to note that the word might means different thing entirely to another race or cohorts.
However, we are all entitled to our opinion, as ssertions and feelings can never be in unison. Your feelings are valid but I I don't know when it has become a sin to succinctly define a particular word to my team-mate just as I did in this context.
I might not be oblivious of the fact that name in question is attributed to a particular set of people on nairaland but I'm unmindful of what it means to them and not until It is made known to me, my interpretation of the name remains viable and i won't stop its' consistent usage.
I'm a valliant and I would never hide under any unfathomable canopy to deal with anyone that step on my toes. If I have any issue with any of your team mate, I know how to handle it diplomatically. I know my onions and God forbid the day I would use the sin of A to punish B. Perhaps, you can do your homework and see how I've sorted out that in the past.
I would plead u to spare my contestant out of this, as it is of no issue in this case. I have never quoted or called a particular person "either your team mate or not" a mad being on this forum but I have only explained who a mad person is, which I think shouldn't be a problem to you or your team mates.
What if I put this questions to you. Are you a mad person? Do you belong to the mad people crew?
And please, kndly explain what the nomenclature of your group depicts. at the bolded |

Politics › Imo Supplementary Polls Holds Thursday by Franchise21(op): 8:33am On Jul 27, 2016 |
By Chidi Nkwopara OWERRI—Barring any unforeseen circumstance, the supplementary poll to determine the eventual winners of the inconclusive Okigwe re-run senatorial election, as well as the State Assembly seats for Oru East and Isiala Mbano, would now hold on Thursday this week. Confirming this yesterday in Owerri, the Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Mr. Nasir Ayilara, said that the commission would do everything possible to get done with the exercise this week. Meanwhile, reactions have continued to trail the result released by INEC for the Okigwe senatorial zone re-run election. Addressing journalists in Owerri, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, candidate for the senatorial seat, Chief Athanatius Achonu, who thanked the people for defying the rains to exercise their legitimate franchise, however, frowned at the absence of collation officers at the collation centres. “I have the results announced in the various polling units of the local government areas, which showed that I was comfortably leading the All Progressives Congress, APC, candidate. I urge INEC t do the needful by granting the wish of Okigwe people”, Achonu pleaded. When contacted to respond to the allegation, the State APC Deputy Chairman, Mr. Ugochukwu Nzekwe, described Nigerians as “bad losers”. While agreeing that “the re-run election may not have been very perfect, even as events have shown that Nigerians are very bad losers”, Nzekwe queried how anybody would have expected APC to lose the crucial election. “I won’t be surprised if the APC candidate is finally declared the winner after the supplementary election, especially as he is clearly ahead of his closest PDP rival, by 8,000 votes”, Nzekwe said. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2016/07/imo-supplementary-polls-holds-thursday/
