Politics / ANOH Gas Pipeline Route by FrankDbadGuy(m): 11:00am On Apr 29
Hello. So I saw a picture yesterday of the proposed Assa North Ohaji (ANOH) gas pipeline that originates from Ohaji, Imo state all the way to the South Western and Northern parts of Nigeria. Normally this is a commendable project which will rapidly bring about our much needed Industrial Revolution to bring about more output and increased standard of living.

But from the picture, why is the gas pipeline network not going through the south east too? Isn’t it worrisome that the pipeline extends all the way across the Niger towards the western part?

What are the south eastern leaders and industrialists saying about this? Why can’t we blacks do things in a just and peaceful manner?

Any thoughts on as to why these gas pipelines network eludes the South East please?

Politics / My Sincere Advice To My Fellow Igbo by FrankDbadGuy(m): 8:51am On Aug 23, 2023
The age long tradition of Igbo being one of the best educated in the country, yet leaving the South East zone for other zones like the South South, South West, North, Overseas etc must be mitigated. South East is majorly dominated by large and short scale trade. It has an advantage in the sense that everyone gets to become boss and less dependent on the government.
Onitsha and Aba in particular have a huge number of business men, ndi boyii from the various villages who come to the town to fight for their future. All’s cool, but when it becomes the ONLY major face of the cities, it becomes a problem in the sense that the formal sectors suffer. Learned folks from the South East are trooping out of the zone in numbers everyday because they can’t be absorbed properly. Don’t expect them to start dragging spaces with those into trading.
The disadvantage to this is numerous. Those folks who came from the village have little/no respect for the environment. They take pissing in the gutters as normal, dropping refuse into gutters as an everyday stuff, that’s why a WHO 2016 report rated Onitsha the dirtiest city in 2016, and Aba 6th. We might be in 2023, but has much changed?
Balancing the city with learned and semi learned folks would have helped balance the city up, but lack of white collar jobs chase learned folks away.
Cities like PH, Enugu, Abj, Lagos have a better environmental rating and a balanced system of life because of a huge presence of learned folks who are into many diverse sectors. The South Eastern leaders must be up and doing towards making the South East an Industrial hub of the country/continent. God blessed Enugu with huge metric tonnes of iron ore, oil and gas, Anambra with oil and gas, trading. Imo state with the highest gas reserve in Africa as a whole, Ebonyi with many minerals and fertile lands, Abia with Oil and Gas, trade too. In fact, God blessed all Igbo with entrepreneurship spirit. Why then must we keep on migrating to other regions for survival?
If the constant insults we receive from other zones as being wanderers and beggars don’t get to you, it gets to me!
Our forefathers survived the civil war, they had to develop a communal spirit in other to help each others, hence their dependence on China for most goods. Sincerely, we feed from the Chinese the most in Africa.
The good thing is that this is 2023, times have changed. It’s time for us to go to the Chinese with a different mindset- Technology transfer.
Why buy from them when we can learn the technology from them and put them into production here. After all, the Chinese got the same technology transfer from the West!
All thanks to the BRICS convention going on and the AFCTA, this is our chance to emerge as a regional power bloc, if we make the best use of it. The Chinese stood by the side after the 2nd world war and saw that the world needed a global production house. They rose up-to the occasion and expanded exponentially between 40-50 years.
Dear Igbo, this is our chance to make the major leap!
All thanks to the trading pathway we’ve been able to create throughout Africa, the major goal is to be the creators of the various goods, while the traders move it to the various areas of Africa as a whole. Just as the Chinese deliberately made the whole world their target base, making the whole of Africa our target base shouldn’t be an over statement. It is achievable!
We have also been able to intermingle with the Chinese, hence the reason why most African Chinese marriages is between Igbo and Chinese people. A video even surfaced before of their kids learning Igbo in the classroom. Time to get the best of the Asians is now!

Everything online shouldn’t be banters and tribal displays. As we are strategizing now, I believe the South Southerners, Yoruba and Hausa are also strategizing, which is the goal. Competition in uplifting, and not in downgrading.
God bless all African youths
God bless us all
God bless Africa ❤️

No insults please if you don’t have anything meaningful to contribute

On the contrary, Western imperialists enslaved you, colonized you, and still colonizing you right now to the point that you side with your enemy.

Why not check history to discover how Western imperialists enslaved you and how Russia has tried to set you free for centuries? You can begin from the article below.

It is indeed very refreshing to find enlightened black people who are interested in world history, the future and the workings of the powers that be as opposed to the mundane and ignorant chatter that populates most threads on this forum. I am a young Nigerian in my early 20’s and I have always loved studying history. My personal motto is “The past is the key to the future”. Only by understanding where we are coming from and who we were can we understand who we are, why we are where we are and affect who we will be and where us and our future generations will be in the future. Unfortunately most black people simply do not care about what goes on behind the scenes. Like farm animals, all they care about is consuming, mating and reproducing and that is why we black people are still at the bottom of the human food chain. It is really good to know that there are few amongst us who care about knowledge and are willing to teach and share what they know. People like this are the only hope the next generation of Africans have. People who aren’t distracted by the enormous amount of noise that is generated and shared daily on the internet. 70% of Africans are below the age of 30, we are a young generation. I believe the black race is slowly but surely healing from slavery, colonialism and neocolonialism. Information must be free, freely shared and accessible to all who wish to be informed. We must carve for ourselves a more secure place as black humans on Planet Earth. Keep up the good work, wise elders. Enlighten us, Share your knowledge and experience so that we young ones can learn from you and simply do better.

Guys. Good morning. I really enjoyed going through this thread. I’m really proud and happy that panAfricanism has come to stay. The good news is that we are currently building up a team of like minds, that spans across many African countries. Feel free to join the group and become part of the team. I’ll be dropping the whatsapp link. You’re invited.

Politics / The True State Of Things In The South East by FrankDbadGuy(m): 4:51pm On Oct 20, 2022
I’m Ugoo, an Igbo, from South Eastern Nigeria. A graduate of the university of Port harcourt. A panAfricanist too, so this report is devoid of ethnic sentiments. I love all tribes in Africa, be it Hausa, Yoruba etc. My roommate then in sch is a Yoruba guy from Ogun, and we’ve lived together peacefully for 4 yrs, till graduation. I’ve been to all southern zones in Nigeria and felt comfortable in all, so I bear no grudges or sentiments against any of the tribes.
First, there’s a report stating that Onitsha in Anambra state is the worst city worldwide for air pollution. Despite the fact that I doubt the terming of it as the worst city worldwide “air pollution wise”, they might be right, because I haven’t even left Nigeria before, talk less of visiting the other cities listed to ascertain the validity of the report, but truly, Onitsha is dirty, especially the market environs. Onitsha and the South East as a whole has a low concentration of industries, but a huge number of markets. The markets are mostly dominated by semi literates who have no way of making ends meet than to learn trading from their oga at a young age, hence the “boy boy” pattern. Most didn’t see the 4 walls of a uni, so they do not see the need for curtailing air pollution and environmental protection. Everyone brings out their dicks everywhere and go about their business anywhere, so far there’s a little privacy. The market union leaders aren’t making it any easier. The few toilets, albeit neat are denied access to you except you pay #50. It might be small, but imagine visiting the toilet 4 times daily(the average), you would have paid #200 and #1200 every week, just to ease yourself, without even being aware (in this Buhari’s economy??)
So, most of them go for the easier remedy. Bring out your dick anywhere and urinate, afterall nobody cares (except the ladies shaa).

Gov Soludo should mandate that all toilets should be made free, and add the cost indirectly to their monthly levies, then put in place a task force against the open urinating and improper disposal of refuse. His “commissioner for the environment” office is long dead and forgotten.

*The FG*
The federal government is to be blamed too (deny this fact all you want, it doesn’t change the fact that the south east has the least govt presence. Not fair!)
Most of the educated folks leave Igbo land after graduation and migrate to other zones in search for white collar jobs, since it’s virtually non existent in the south east. To fill the vacuum of their absence, those semi literates from the villages migrate to the cities to learn the trading, at the end our villages are a ghost town because of the mass emigration from the villages.
People migrate majorly for economic reasons. That’s why it pains me heavily when the Igbo are insulted that they do not love staying in their zones. That’s a big lie. They do, else they won’t be going back home during the Christmas tide. But then, how do you expect an engineer to stay in a zone that has little industries, he has no option than to leave for other zones, esp the south west. The Igbo are hard working, intentionally neglected by the FG to be dependent on other zones. It ain’t fair. No nation develops with the central government knowingly neglecting a part of it. No family progresses with the mother showing partiality and preferential treatment to her kids.

*IGR*
it’s true that Ogun state alone generates IGR as much as that of the 5 south eastern states combined. I’m genuinely happy for them, but as a panAfrican, who wants the black race to rise in unison without unnecessary favoritism, it’s unfair that a part of the country gets a preferential treatment, while the other part doesn’t. It’s not something to be proud of. My dear Yoruba folks, it’s not something you should rub on the face of the Igbo and call them names like “developers” who run away from their region. The mere fact that they migrated to your region, started from scratch and still got to a high level should let you know that the problem is the system, not the individuals. Don’t laugh at Igbo, try witnessing what they’ve passed through (and are passing through), and know that there’s more to the story than you guys thinking you’re the better race. Nobody is envying anyone or hateful of anyone, we all want a level play ground. Forget too much talks

*Entertainment wise*
There was a trend on Twitter where a guy said that “If not for the Yoruba factor, Phyno normally is better talented than Olamide, and would have gone farther in the industry”
Well, that’s a personal submission, I’m just sincerely happy that the black man is finally gaining recognition worldwide. I support Real Madrid Alaba(Yoruba), with all my heart, also Uzoho (Igbo), Senior Man Kels, Sane (Senegalese), Mbappe (Cameroonian), Salah too etc. It shows that I’m all for the betterment of the black race. No time for bad belle
That being said, we all know that Afro beats has come to stay, and Yoruba is the dominant language in the genre. Top acts like Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, Tiwa, Yemi are all Yoruba while Burna, P Square, Phyno, MI, 2Face are all from the other tribes combined, also Lagos happens to be the entertainment capital of Nigeria. All aspiring musicians must aspire to be accepted into the Lagos airwave first b4 thinking of blowing. Lagos also happens to be a Yoruba land (forget all those rubbish statements of Lagos being a no man’s land, lie!). That means those who are talented, and can express themselves in the Yoruba language get an extra advantage. Then maybe followed by Igbo language.
Well, should I tell the musicians to stop speaking their God given language? Lie lie. It’s your natural language, continue, God knows I learnt some Yoruba from my roommate so that I could keep up with Zlatan, my fav rapper then.
*Solution*
The solution to this is that the Igbo should stop crying fowl upon any little matter. Nature abhors the weak and embraces the strong.
Enugu state already has an “entertainment-like” lifestyle already. Gov Ugwuanyi (or whomsoever wins the Enugu guber next year) should invest massively into the entertainment industry. Upcoming musicians shouldn’t migrate all the way to Lagos before they can make it. Let us make the sector more competitive. Those living up north should lessen their religious stand on issues too and allow their creativity to rise. I doubt that MI and Ice Prince would have gone far in the industry if they’d stayed longer in the north alone. The US Hollywood was majorly based mainly in LA, the Western part of the US. Folks had to travel all the way to the West from the east, till folks from New York said enough was enough. They invested massively into the NY movie world, and we can see the positive results today. Also, those living in Georgia are also promoting their movies majorly. We can all see the excellent results gotten from the Hollywood industry. The big difference between blacks and whites. Nollywood and blacks as a whole should learn healthy competition. It makes life worth it and fun.
So, pls I’ll end it here. I just decided to write this piece to help educate those who derive pleasure in insulting the South Easterners of being lazy or refusing to develop their zone. Also, to Soludo to sit up environmental wise, else his re-election go choke o. Then to Enugu state folks to end that shitty “Enugu state is in the hands of God bla bla bla” and sit up.
God bless us all
God bless the black man.
Moderators, FP pls

Politics / Why All 4 Major Contestants Won’t Poll More Than 500k Votes In Any Of KKK States by FrankDbadGuy(m): 9:47pm On Sep 04, 2022
The KKK states (Kano-Kaduna-Katsina) that gave Buhari upto 3 million votes in 2019 are going to be a problem for any of the presidential aspirants hoping on taking Buhari’s block votes. Mind you, they’ve all been giving Buhari block votes since 2002, when Buhari was first on the ballot.

In Kano:
NNPP Kwakwanso is very strong there, Shakarau a former governor too just defected to PDP, then of course Ganduje who’s the incumbent governor, an APC guy. This means that Kano block votes will be heavily divided by the 3 political juggernauts! All with their loyalists!

In Kaduna, their governor El Rufai has successfully divided the state along ethnic and religious lines with his insensitive Muslim Muslim ticket. Fulani herdsmen have killed lots of Southern Kaduna folks, also most of El Rufai’s project are in the Northern part.
To make matters juicier, Obi’s VP, Ahmed Datti is from Southern Kaduna. He might not be much of a political juggernaut, but the message of hope he brings to Kaduna residents who have been killed in numbers by herdsmen, is easily assimilated.
Obi is expected to perform well here. (Remember that just last 2weeks, El Rufai canceled a one million march in support for Obi). He’s getting the message clearly day by day!

In Katsina,
Buhari’s own state. If memory serves us right, we can recall that Bandits are holding some LGAs hostage. It’s quite uncertain whether the ballot is going to reach those places under duress. Plus political apathy that might hit the locals over the failure of their own son, thereby not wasting their time voting.
Buhari too failed woefully performance-wise. PDP might perform better here because of the northern sentiment towards wanting to keep the power up north by all means. APC will still win the state shaa, so far Buhari is still alive. But on a very wide basis, I doubt.
NNPP Kwakwanso might get reasonable votes from there too, after all he’s a northerner and Muslim like them.

I might be wrong, but I kinda believe the above scenario might pan out.
Last last, I’m not sure any of the 4 major contestants will get more than 400k-450k votes in any of the 3 states! Lala, front page

Obi Presidency is all Nigerians need right now. Nigeria's situation is critical at the moment, and the worst thing that would happen to us is for extremely corrupt and business-as-usual type of politicians like Atiku and Tinubu that lavish money on cronies and other corrupt practices to win. Peter Obi who didn't spend shishi to emerge, someone who already hates waste and corruption will definitely ensure that resources are judiciously used for the masses benefit. By cutting out waste, Peter Obi government would be able to re-channel the resources to areas that need it.
