Between the 4 programming language you just listed, PHP would be the best choice.

Reason: It is the fastest, more secured and learning curve is awesome, with great outside community. No framework in any language has been able to beat Phalcon framework in PHP in terms of speed.

I have tables in a database like Jss1, Jss2 to SS3. I want to use the same form to submit score into the different tables. The for has a listbox which contains Jss1, Jss2 to SS3 and second listbox which name. When Jss1 is selected, the second listbox will be populated with the names of people in that class. And the scores will submitted into Jss1 table in the database etc

Your task is very simple.

Just create a request that will host your listbox, when that listbox is selected you input a the value inside the selected listbox, or drop down list.

You can achieve this using if....elseif statement, or for better optimization, you can use a switch statement.

For example, you have table jss1, jss2...ss3

From your html code get your request object. Maybe using a <select></select> statement
Then in your php write your switch or if....elseif statement, like thus

If($_POST['fromYourHTML']= "jss1'){
//insert into jss1 table.
}elseif($_POST['fromYourHTML'] == 'jss2'){
//WWrite your SQL query to insert in table jss2
}

And so on, if I understand you very well, this should solve your challenge.

Use a switch statement for better optimization, in web development every seconds counts.

I honestly did not want to comment on this post, but i think people are already flying the part that the sites he even posted on here are very much amateur looking in the ui aspect.
for example, the paytwice, did anyone notice that even the items arent of uniform dimension? i.e the dimension is determined by the width of the image to be shown?.
Take a look of how he even displayed his price. (i wont even comment on that one).
No favicon on the site.
and a whole lot more i dont even want to try.
That other forum site, i even refuse to take mytime to go through it.

I however, did not even bother checking the security level of those sites.
So if he charges 5k for this level of competence, FELLAS, He's right!

If you are choosing between PHP and Python. Choose PHP and never go to Python.

Other considerations would be C# or Java, but No, never choose Python. My reason: it is very slow (Performance wise) for Web Development.

I need technical reasons why you said PHP is easier.

Let me illustrate this better:
let us assume that you start with PHP, you will learn to do great stuffs fast.
if you have started with python, there will be a little lag before you start doing awesome stuffs.

But there is a catch, if you stick with python, after like 6 months or 1year, you will be a more awesome programmer than if you have started with PHP.
Reason: python is a lot more efficient than PHP on many levels. So in the end, it pays you off to learn python than to learn php. Once you have mastered python, php will become extremely easy for you to learn - but it does not work the other way.

Why do you say so, give me technicalities.

You mean Discrete Mathematics? Lord help me! The lecturer taking the course is a maniac out to make us into robots that reproduce his lecture notes in tests and exams: no room for style or wider reading; just cram what he told you in class.
But I love the course and I've got new books on it.

Just find time to learn the stuff on your own, I wish I had the time when I was an undergrad. Now I have no choice than to start looking at it again.

For your email server you have to set it up on your online cpanel. It can't be done on your localhost.

To setup the 404 error page. Create a new page in the same directory as your index.php or index.html.

Name is 404.php or 404.html
Add your error information.

Create a htacess file like this ".htacess"

Don't forget to add the "dot"

Add this code inside the htacess file
