He's in his 30s heading for 40 but has no place of his own, still dependent on my parents, and my mom doesn't see anything wrong with it, always taking his side.

I have an older brother who is the perfect definition of a fool at 40, he doesn't hustle to be a man of his own, his only job is to cause rift between people, he likes talking and gossiping, he depends on my parents at his age, and he will go to my mom and feed her thrash (mostly lies) and my mom will become hostile towards me and my other siblings, he does that between my mom and my dad too, now I had a girlfriend who is a pretentious talkative too, when we started dating I thought she's like me, I don't talk much and I avoid gossiping at all cost, but as time goes on I realized she's not like me, infact she can talk nonstop for 24hrs straight, with time she got familiar with my older brother, I did everything possible for her not to have any connection with my brother because if the two of them become friends I am certain my lousy brother will do what he always does, and I was right, shortly after they became friends our relationship became a nightmare, I had to tell her I'm no longer interested in the relationship, after begging her severally to stay away from my family, now she visits my brother everyday and they talk and gossip, and I am always the topic, now me and my brother don't talk to each other, but their relationship or friendship or whatever it is they're doing is waxing stronger, this guy won't mind dating her, that's how shameless he is, I don't know what to do about it and I can't seem to stop them.

I have solved it, thanks to everyone who made meaningful inputs, they have my phone number, I dunno how they got my number but they put it into a malicious software that saves your number in some contact list, now when people create telegram channel and want alot of members mostly for scamming purpose, they pay those hackers who then use the software that has your number saved as a contact to send requests, before you know your group will be populated by Thier victims, and you'll find yourself in so many groups at once, I found out about it and simply changed my telegram number and since then my telegram is free, if you're going through this don't delete your acc because you'll loose important chats, don't change your username either it's useless, and your privacy settings doesn't matter, they'll still add you despite the privacy settings.

There's a software used to add active people in a group to another group.

Like, once you're online or your account isn't dormant, the software will add you to another group they want you to be part of.

I know this because I did this sometime last year but i don stop shaa.

this is a very valuable advice, I have worked as a manager for someone who owns a betting shop before, so I know what's involved, I know it needs crowd, and it must be in a busy area, I have considered that too, I know I'll need running costs for things like fuel and electricity, the location I have in mind has more than 8hrs of electricity daily, and it's close to a major road and they're no betshops close to it, they're thousand Pos stands in my area, it's a saturated niche, if I go into it I will suffer from low patronage.

You're doing your best and the good thing is you're still pushing. Draw a good plan and look at how you'll payback before you take the loan.

I earn small money online from time to time, but it's barely enough to save and start a business and it's not constant, so I thought maybe if I open the gaming shop, I'll be getting daily returns, then add up with the little I make from time to time, and be servicing the loan until I finish repaying.

I have given it a thought and from what I see around me, the gaming shop is one thing that is seriously lacking in my locality.

Bros, it seems you're the type who would take foolish decisions out pride. For the love of God, there is no shame in staying in your father's house, especially in this period of economic hardship. And If I may ask , how do you intend to pay back the loan if things don't go well with the gaming shop ? And secondly, why a gaming shop why not use the money for something more concrete...like food storage or growing an ICT skill
