Still waiting for your "answer".

I ain't rich, I don't have a trade or business.
I only know how to work and save and
invest in secure investments like
mutual funds and treasury bills.

So that will be my plan...
Invest the 250$ in tbills and
get a job fast (no matter the pay grade).
Save and open a mutual fund account and
build it with my savings monthly.
Interesting, but permit me to ask, is treasury bills that profitable, again considering how people don't have confidence in the present Nigerian governmenthuh

I will share my own later...I want us to make the thread interactive so people can learn from here and know how to get started in life. Thanks for stopping by.... smiley

Typical Nigerian mentality.

Always thinking they deserve everything on a platter with top and ribbon.

Why must government always start up something?
Why don't we have forward thinking people?

Nigerians rely on the government for everything.
I didnt say government should help youths startup anything, I said govt should make policies that will encourage more youths to startup legal online business.

One of such policies include: creating internet startup hubs in major Nigerian cities where youths can go to have access to subsidized internet access and also network with fellow like-minded youths.

Creating tech centers with well trained team where youths can be trained in high tech skills they can use to start up their own tech or internet business.

These are some of the things the government can do to encourage online business growth among Nigerian youths and in few years to come, Nigeria will become a major tech hub of the world exporting tech skills and products.

Next time before u attack someone online, look at who and check that person's background because you maybe attacking the wrong person cos not everybody u see on nairaland is operating at your speed, have a great weekend.
BusinessRe: $46.7b Foreign Reserves Keep Naira Stable by frankwealth: 8:16am On Apr 09, 2018
Nigerian government ought to also appreciate and thank the ever hardworking Nigerian youths who despite the hard recession and mass unemployment never gave up in their bid to survive at all cost which led many Nigerian youths into venturing into various online businesses like:

1. Freelancing on fiverr, upwork, etc
2. Blogging
3. App development
4. Sales of kindle ebooks on Amazon
5. Amazon affiliate marketing
6. CPA, PPD

Which has contributed in attracting undocumented FOREX into the Nigerian economy and helped in boosting Nigeria's FOREX.

Believe me, these hardworking Nigerian youths working online as freelancers attract at least $500,000 into the Nigerian economy every month.

It is high time CBN and FG recognise their effort and make policies to encourage more youths to startup legal online businesses instead of engaging in Yahoo Yahoo scam.

RomanceRe: LADIES: Mention The Things You Need From Your Man To Make You Loyal To Him by frankwealth:
Money is the only thing that respects no boundary....

You can be rich or financially successful in life if you do these things below:

1. Identify problems around you and your immediate location

2. Find a way to solve one or two of the major problems people in your area or environment face everyday

3. If you don't have the skill(s) to solve any of the problems, then find a way to acquire the required skill by enrolling into a school, an institution, a home training session or pay someone that has the skill to teach you the skill. Stay focused while learning this skill and know your mission

4. Apply the skills you have learnt in solving those problems people in your environment face everyday

5. Monetize your solution so that those who need the solution can happily pay you to get their problems solved by your solution

6. Keep on improving on this solution you have discovered, making sure it is up to date to be able to continue solving people's dynamic challenges

7. Scale this up by replicating this solution to other neighboring or distant communities that are facing same problem that your solution can resolve

8. If you are technologically inclined, apply internet technology to make this your solution available to people around the world and further increase your income

9. Don't rely on this one solution you have discovered alone, use the capital you have acquired from this to invest in other business ventures but make sure you are the one managing the affairs

10. Hire talented, smart young people to help you discover more ideas and opportunities to invest in

11. Pay your best talents well and give them the best of comfortable life so that they will never think of resigning

12. Sack the least talents who refused to improve after several training and retraining

13. Support every political party in your country and state discretely in order to remain in good book with every political leader and ruling government so they won't make policies that will destroy your business empire

14. Help the needy

15. Take very good care of your health and security at all times!

I often tell people that life is not a Nollywood movie.

Bad things do not always happened to bad people and good people do not always end up happiest.

I learnt this earlier in life.
The best students in my primary and secondary schools are not the most highly achieving today. Most of them didn’t even end up with first class in the University.

Even the first class students in most Universities do not end up the most successful.

Academic success is a little too overrated.

Mark Zuckerberg dropped out of Harvard to establish Facebook and he became the 5th richest man on earth. He is still in his 30s. Although he went back years later to tidy up.

Bill Gates also dropped out and he is the richest man on earth.

Virgins do sometimes end up marrying crazy philandering men, while some prostitutes do end up marrying men who worship them.

I’ve seen a woman who had several abortions but ended up having children in marriage when she was ready, while some virgins suffer fertility issues.

I’ve made up my mind to take calculated risks in life, and do what works for me. There’s really no almighty formula to success in life. If you see any opportunity, take it. As long as you aren’t making illegal moves and you aren’t hurting anyone in the process, go for it.
endorsed, lots of wisdom

PoliticsRe: Looters’ List: FG Compiles Fresh Names by frankwealth: 10:04am On Apr 07, 2018
Start from the presidents.

If you say Goodluck Jonathan regime was corrupt, then no need protecting Goodluck, arrest him and prosecute him according to the law of the land, and if found guilty, jail him at least 25yrs in jail without parole. That will send a shocking message to incoming presidents in Nigeria, but all I see is a dangerous political blackmail to silence the opposition in order to get Nigerians worked up against PDP members to guarantee APC victory in 2019.

Because I still wonder why no politician or government official in APC is found guilty or even accused of corruption despite the fact that 99.999% of all past and present Nigerian politicians, presidents, governors, senators, ministers, commissioners, LGA chairpersons, etc are all corrupt.

If I am president Buhari and I am sure that my hands are clean and free of corruption or crime, I will shock APC and write my name in the sands of history by opening corruption books of top APC chieftains like:

1. Tinubu
2. Saraki
3. Kwankwaso
4. Tambuwal
5. Rochas Okorocha
6. Adams Oshiomhole
7. El Rufai
Etc, etc and watch all Nigerians irrespective of their tribe hail and support the president with their last drop of blood, but will he do thishuh Hell no!

So if he can't do this, then he is not ready to fight corruption but only being partisan with his alleged corruption fight which will surely backfire someday

I'll probably start all over again.
$11 - .com domain
$20 - cheap namecheap web hosting.
$100 - uk or fairly used laptop.
$15 - internet moderm.
$15 - 3months data. (night plan to help out too.)

TOTAL= $161

If i still have the knowledge i have now, i ll bounce back to $2 - 3k monthly in 4mnths, and things will just scale up from there.

8montsh later, start a new blog and try to grow it. (money will help boost things this time around)

16 mnths later, i ll flip the 1st blog (a blog making over $4k/month can sell for over $100k)

invest in real estate, while also working on the other blog. I AM BACK AND BOUNCING!

It becomes much easier to SCALE UP! GROWTH ALL THE WAY!
pretty interesting but you didn't tell us what you will be using the internet and laptop and website to do? We want some practical tips to help those confused on how to start life.

FamilyRe: 10 Richest Families In Nigeria 2018 By ManucheTv by frankwealth: 7:13pm On Apr 06, 2018
Those saying there are no Igbo family on the list, you ought not to be surprised, ask me whyhuh

After the 1967 - 1969 Nigeria-Biafra civil war, Igbos lost a lot; Odimegwu Ojukwu's father was the richest man in West Africa as at then, Nwafor Orizu too followed closely but after the civil war, Igbos lost their properties in Lagos, Portharcourt, Kano, Kaduna, etc. Aside properties, Igbos also lost millions if not billions kept in Nigerian banks as they were handed 10 pounds or so no matter how much millions the Igbo person had in his or her bank account before the war started.

Now after the war, all Igbo top military officers were retired compulsorily, all top government officials and civil servants sacked. Igbos had to start life from the scratch starting from 1970.

It didn't stop there.

The successive military governments after the war made sure Igbos were not appointed to key positions, especially those concerning security, and it was at this time most rich Nigerian families you hear of today started amassing wealth through dinning with the military heads of states and governors who were dashing them crude oil blocs, giving them government contracts without monitoring, giving them import waivers, trade advantages and all sort of trade and business favors including FOREX waivers which is one of the things that made Aliko Dangote the richest man in Africa he is today.

If you observe all the current Nigerian millionaires and billionaires today, 95% of them got their wealth through crude oil related deal and through government favor. And Igbos were not favoured by Nigerian government after the end of the civil war, so don't be surprised.

Majority of rich Igbos you hear or see made it through sheer hardwork without any federal government favour, only very few like the Uba family, etc got favor from OBJ.

But with time, I see Igbos flying above odds by making their wealth through technology, trade, sports, entertainment and ICT, this will be followed closely by the Yorubas who are doing exceedingly well in terms of technology.

In a saner nation, majority of these people ought to be serving jail term for looting the Nigerian nation to enrich their family pockets.

Today, former South Korean president who happened to be the daughter of late South Korean military dictator was sentenced to 25yrs in jail. S. Koreans protested until she resigned on alleged corruption allegation and now she has been convicted and jailed despite being the president and daughter of a powerful leader.

Former Brazilian president too is on trial to be convicted soonest....all because of suspected corruption allegation against him.

Hungary is doing same...so many other progressive nations, even South Africa recently did same and their president had to resign to give way for proper prosecution. It is a thing of shame for Nigeria and all Nigerians.

These are countries that want to progress.

If Nigerians were united, people like OBJ, Goodluck Jonathan ought to be in jail, and Buhari ought to have resigned and facing a very serious corruption and crime charges, but hell no, Nigerians celebrate criminals and still hope to get a better nation soon, howhuh

You did not state the HDD size
i did. Check where I stated: 128ssd and 160ssd.

Ssd is the latest hard disk memory technology in voque for latest version laptops. it is a compressed memory for faster, high performance. its better than the usual gb tech.

so 128ssd means x 2 = 250gb hdd if u remove the dedicated memory used by the pc.

160ssd means x 2 = 320gb but of high performance and speed.
