CelebritiesRe: AIR OBO: Davido's Private Jet Costs About N9 Billion (See Details) by frankwealth: 5:06pm On May 09, 2018
Davido's father wants to go into private jet charter business and the best way to hype the business and draw more attention and patronage is to use his most popular music star son, Davido to hype the biz for more patronage and acceptance by Nigerians and others.

Davido's father is using Davido to do free pre-launch advert for his private jet charter business instead of paying advert firms, wise man.

Davido is making money but not enough to buy and maintain a private jet.

Lets get real, but all the same, its showbiz and its all about hyping, showing off, bragging, etc to earn more from people and brands.

Even the car he bought for Chioma is part of the hyping of his brand which is already paying off as his song and name now rings bell in virtually every Nigerian home that have young people listening to hiphop music and entertainment news.

Well done Davido smiley

Yes, Bishop David Oyedepo is truly a fearless and honest man of God. He stands for the truth no matter what!

I am beginning to understand something; those Christians who converted from other religions are always the most vocal Christians that fight for the cause of Christianity!

Bishop David Oyedepo, Papa of all...for standing for truth, for speaking for the voiceless, and for speaking up against evil, God Almighty will continue to bless and expand your coast beyond human comprehension, you are a blessing to the world Bishop Oyedepo!

2M members, atleast one or two celeb fit dey here
You guys are getting me wrong....read my initial post again...I know they maybe here....but why can't they be proud of nairaland as our own thing owned by one of us, to at least help uplift nairaland beyond where it is now...it will boost nairaland's image.

Why the hide and seekhuh Meaning they aren't proud of nairaland, but they are proud of Oyimbo owned Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, etc, its a shame for us as a nation that we don't celebrate or embrace our indigenous products cry

blackpanthar:
something is slightly wrong with u.... EVEN the OWNER OF NAIRALAND... is not SHOWING OFF... and he is a major celeb... yet u want the others to join and show off.

IT WILL SHOCK U THAT THEY ARE ON NAIRALAND but not using their real names or any name that can give them away. Am not talking about 10 celebs... I MEAN The main ones u know... that are still reigning... DAVIDO is one of those that gets his news from LINDA IKEJI, some other like tonto are on the BELLANAIJA Blog, and its all over the place... NO ONE HAS TO FLAUNT IT.

If they are here.. would it PAY THEM?
YOUTUBE PAY THEM
INSTAGRAM PAYS THEM
FACEBOOK PAYS THEM
TWITTER PAYS THEM
SNAPCHAT TOO

So here on NL, even FRONT PAGE and FIRST TO COMMENT will not pay anyone..... YOU OVERRATE NAIRALAND. many in Nigeria who are digitally inclined do not even know it exists.

CELEBS do NOTHING without the MONEY. If there is money being made here... they will show off.

I am into digital marketing and I can tell you, that any VERIFIED STATUS you see on INSTAGRAM is making money from adverts and followers...

So pls mind your own business till u become a celeb and you will leave NL too
Say what you know my friend angry angry

YouTube pay them yes!

Twitter, Instagram and Facebook don't pay them a dime! It only helps them drive traffic which they caj monetize on their own by selling products or services or promoting sth and also to promote their brand and name which Nairaland does more when it comes to Nigerian promotion, and can do better if it gets wider audience and recognition.

In fact, every state government ought to have official handle on nairaland to pass verified info to their indigenes.

China is growing anything Chinese no matter what. Chinese govt banned Whatsapp some months ago while promoting wechat, qq, etc their own Chinese brands.

We all have a collective responsibility to grow our local businesses and brands no matter what.

We need more successful tech inspired businesses like Nairaland.

Of course I know they are here secretly, but enough of the hide and seek game.....they need to be proud of nairaland and it has nothing to do with Seun not showing his face, that's his business.

My concern is for us as a people and a nation to collectively change our mindset and begin to appreciate our own products and brands, that's the only way we can grow and encourage more young people to believe in Nigeria.
CelebritiesThe Stupidity Of Nigerians: Why Can't 9ja Celebs Join Nairaland? by frankwealth(op): 7:21pm On May 08, 2018
Good evening all....

There is something very sad I have noticed about Nigerians and black Africans which is part of the reasons why Nigeria has remained underdeveloped and may never develop beyond our imagination.

Nigerians don't celebrate their own. We love and celebrate Oyimbo things to the detriment of our own.

Nairaland as a forum has stood the test of time, and has grown so big to become one of the greatest forums and in fact social media + reliable news platform in Africa and the world at large but then, why are Nigerian celebrities and politicians not helping in uplifting Nairaland to international limelight no matter who owns it at least if it grows bigger, it will employ more Nigerian youths and contribute to our national development and image upliftment.

Why are Nigerian celebrities not bold to join nairaland and show it offhuh

Nairaland has been a great source of promotion for Nigerian celebrities and entertainment yet these ungrateful souls don't deem it fit to join Nairaland and show it off to the world to help boost Nairaland image.

Believe me, if a Nigerian owned Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc, no Nigerian celebrity or politician will join, they will rather join dying Yahoo or MSN than join the one that's owned by Nigerian.

Imagine our president being so proud of flying out of Nigeria for medical checkup after all the promise he made to stop that shameful mission by our past politicians, we really need to change as a nation and a people.

Seun should add verified status and push for more Nigerian personalities to join Nairaland, its high time, Nairaland can't continue to be a hide and seek forum forever, it has come of age to become not just a forum but a social media too.

It is not possible in Igbo land; a tree does not make a forest in Igbo land, a tree can make a forest in some other regions but not in Southeast region, Okorocha as an Igbo man ought to have known this from the beginning

The desire to mate or have sex with any woman they find desirable is inherent in all men of all races.

Have you heard about the fallen angels that came down to earth just to sex super sexy women some hundreds of thousand years agohuh

There is a historical video about the world starting 800 AD that you will watch and understand that this world is being controlled by some higher beings called the Innunaki.

Do you know that some people's lineage has been specially selected before now to be the noble families for a purposehuh There is a lot you will never know about life...

We are in 21st century social media world, Nigeria need a 21st century compliant president who will be active on Twitter and other social media platforms reading news direct from the citizens like US President Trump and not filtered and selected news made available to him by his media team.

A president that operates his social media handles and replies to his followers and fans is what Nigeria needs to ensure the president is aware of the nation's situation at all time without having to lie that he didn't know about this and that.

Talk about Nigerian celebrities who married hot ladies, then u talk about:

1. Omolola the wife of Peter of Psquare
2. Adesua of Banky W
3. wife of Actor Iyke Ogbonna
4. Adaeze Yobo Joseph Yobo's wife
......and many others.....

Davido is just trying his best to hype the girl, and I think its because he met the girl a virgin not because she is that pretty

CelebritiesRe: Davido Buys Chioma A N45M Porsche: Nigerians Reaction To Her Birthday Gift by frankwealth: 9:25am On May 01, 2018
Barrack Obama didn't buy Michelle Obama a Porsche while they were dating, but he made her the First Lady of the most powerful nation in the world....

Goodluck Jonathan didn't buy Patience Jonathan a Porsche while they were dating, but he made her the First Lady of the most populous black nation!

Peter Okoye of Psquare didn't buy Omolola a Porsche when they were dating, but he made her his wife and mother of his kids such that all he owns belongs to her.

That man may not have enough to buy u a car or a house or gold or diamond or even a mobile phone today, but look at the future....what he plans for u in future matters more than the expensive gifts he presents to u today.

Rejoice with Chioma but don't envy her because every human have their own burden and tears to shed in one way or another; it maybe financial lack, sickness, delayed marriage, delayed graduation from school, inability to gain admission, delayed childbirth, business failures, infertility, sickness, loss of a loved one, delayed marriage, heartbreaks, stubborn and disgraceful children, marital crises, divorce, hard luck, workplace challenges, inability to secure a job, exam failures, etc...

Ladies and gents don't be deceived, think!

Love is beyond buying gifts and items....Davido may end up not marrying Chioma, what then becomes of her future if that happenshuh

BusinessThis Is My Story: It Will Inspire You To Financial Success by frankwealth(op): 12:00pm On Apr 28, 2018
Okay guys, I am not going to pamper you guys with words like I always do, this time around, I am going to be blunt and in fact, brutal with the truth about my life; what I have been through, where I am coming from, etc...I am doing all these to challenge you and to inspire you to financial success because that's the only way to make you act and fight against that spirit of poverty and financial lack holding you down for long now.

I used to be broke, I mean very broke. So before I move on, let me be Frank with you, I have been a broke ass guy, to the extent I shared a room with two other friends and later one of us left, and my other friend who had been single for close to a decade, lol, funny right? Yeah, that's the story of majority of realistic and focused broke guys...so back to my story, not long after one of my friends I was living with; in fact I was squatting with, I used squatting because the two of them were the original owners of the room before I came on board to join them....like two weeks after one of us left the dungeon after luck smiled on him and he got a nice job, so he left us behind, my second friend miraculously met a girl who he luckily convinced to become his night nurse.

........I happened to be among the best graduating students with the highest CGPA in my time; the 3rd i think, its not my making, its a gift from God, I never failed any exam right from nursery school...exam success was never lacking on my side and even after school and NYSC, I excelled in various company aptitude tests; NNPC, Mobil, NLNG, SAIPEM, Glo, DHL, TSL, ManTrac (CAT), Total, Schlumberger, NBC (Coca Cola), etc. I passed all these companies' aptitude tests but still they won't give me the job.

In fact, I passed NNPC and NLNG interviews after passing their aptitude tests but I got disqualified for NLNG job offer after I passed the interview because of age falsification; I reduced my age by 1yr then; i learnt a lesson from that experience, always stand on the truth no matter the situation.

.......You are the most brilliant student in your class now does not mean you will be the richest or the most successful unless you start now to equip yourself beyond academic and book success. BusinessRe: How To Start An Online Store With No Money And Make Profit by frankwealth: 4:24pm On Apr 22, 2018
This is theoretical because you must spend money to make money unless you have special skill to offer which people are willing to pay you for.

If you open an online store without spending money and expect to make money from it in 2018, then you are just daydreaming.

Buying domain name, hosting your website, buying and installing plugins, advertising your store to get people to see what you are selling all require money.

FamilyRe: Paying Your Rent And Owning A Car Are Not Signs Of Success by frankwealth: 11:06am On Apr 16, 2018
AussiePlayboy:
I've come to notice a common misconception about many people, especially the ladies and some guys who dont know better and think that owing a car and paying rent for an accommodation are signs of success.
.
I find it appalling, really appalling. Thankfully, at 23, I bought my first car and moved out of my parents place and a year after, I still totally don't consider myself close to successful. I even feel like there is a lot I am not doing with my life.
I presently work in a top multinational company(outside Africa) and get paid flights and accommodation(even at the moment) in the best hotels in the world, yet I often see it like I have seen it all, and hence, its not true success. I am lucky, like really lucky to experience this at an early age and hence it has helped me understand what matters life.
I have seen so called "big men" loose everything in a flip of a second, I have seen what supposedly rich people go through and I sometimes marvel when I hear phrases like. "He owns a car and affords a 2/3 bedroom flat" so he is successful. Nawa o. My people nawa o.
Flat that one mistake at work or simply low turnovers beyond your control, and there is no difference between you and the guy carrying file on the street looking for job. Or car you have to keep that job to maintain? What about those in business depending on just one main client who they have to kiss their feet to ensure bills are being paid, yet brag. No matter how fine the apartment is, its still a liability to maintain, and you ll be kicked out, along whatever you put in there the moment you stop keeping the landlord quiet.
Also, its even funny how people see car as a luxury. Car is not a luxury. Having a car is just a basic necessity.
Nowadays, I flip through social media, and don't get moved. I just see people faking out their lives, with the temporary illusion of happiness, while I critically thing of the real things that matter. Too many people living hand to mouth, waiting for the next paycheck to maintain that lifestyle. That's not freedom to me. That's not even success

Draw your ears boy and girls.... Having a car with paying for a flat is NOT success. Heck, its not even a luxury.

The AussiePlayboy
You are totally wrong my brother. It is success, but you can say it is not being rich or wealthy.

Success has different levels and faces. When a student passes his or her exams, that's success at that level.

When you are able to secure a job, that's success at that level of life.

If you used to trek around the city and finally got a car, that's success at that level of life.

When you change your car to a bigger or more luxurious one, that's success.

There are many types of success...

But you can say that....owning a car and paying your house rent is not being rich or wealthy, then you have a good point, correct your notion about success.

Lastly, anybody still working for somebody like you, have no right to talk about riches and financial success because you are a hired labourer being paid...and can be offloaded at anytime. If you want to become a motivational speaker on finance, resign and startup a business and if you succeed after 5yrs, then u can talk about this topic

yes... As at last Wednesday 4th it's 13% profit per year.

Nigeria has not defaulted in payment of interest (which is paid as soon as you invest)
Nor in capital return in the last 40 years.

Nigerian government can not fail like Venezuela's government. We have a democracy.
And our crude oil is being explored peacefully and profitably..
Also.. The telecoms industry and insurance and pension funds are all other sources of income for the government.

Bottom line: government never defaults in treasury bills because it is used to finance the budget yearly, if they default then they know they will get no funds for the next budget either.

Government would rather borrow to pay treasury bills (like they did last year) than to default. It's financial suicide for any Government.

Treasury bills is run by all governments around the world including USA, BRITAIN, RUSSIA, CHINA, ETC

NO POSSIBILITY OF LOSS IN TREASURY BILLS
